Plaza del Zapato gives you two very different experiences, depending on what time of day (or night) you come here.
During the day, there is a small indoor shopping center that cells clothing, shoes, and accessories. There is a nail place downstairs, and restrooms that cost 5 pesos to use.
The parking lot is a pay lot, but its pretty cheap. The place is largely safe, as it is located in Zona Rio. Across the street is Plaza Rio, so you can get away with parking there and shopping here for a bit, if you're looking to shop in both locations.
At nighttime, this place becomes a booming party area, with many interconnected bars. The only place that I can compare this to is Seville Quarter in Pensacola, Fl (a throwback to my military years). The turnout here is decent at night, and it's a mix of locals and people from the US.
There is a large parking lot around the corner, in which you can park while you party it up. Much like the daytime fare, parking here at night won't break your bank if you're coming here on a budget.
The service here is decent, and the workers are friendly and helpful. The locals are pretty cool, too. You're safe partying here, as long as you don't look for trouble. Cheers. read more
