Perfect for a local neighborhood plaza with grocery store, banks, some simple shopping, few chain eateries, a boba shop, etc. I can invision this plaza glowing up in the next several years as the neighborhood becomes more appreciated in value thru the coming years. What I like the most were the two banks I use literally near/next to each other - convenient to make physical transfers. Basic shopping for food or to grab a bite to eat after simple errands. We had visited Butcher and Cheese many times and were saddened they had closed its doors. There's a Burlington Coat Factory, Petco, Michael's, Von's grocery store, Bank of America, Five Below, and much more! Overall, a nice shopping center with many options!

Then, I walk my way down the walking path towards Sprouts, Five Below, Trader Joe's, Nothing Bundt Cakes, a new NOODLE place, and many other great places. The walkway includes a beautiful Koi Pond and garden where Ducks live. You can feed the wildlife for a quarter from the dispenser machines along the pond. There are plenty of benches throughout the Village Walk and most are in the shade. Nice time to enjoy the beautiful weather before the rainstorms come tomorrow.

The Toy store which was my favorite is now gone. Also the lingerie store which was across from it is also gone. I think they were both here since the beginning. KFC has been replaced with a burger place but we do like the Wetzlers Pretzels and the coffee/candy store!! We love the weekends with the kettle corn! It smells so good. We always get two bags to go. I do hope they get a new toy store soon. We'll be back for sure.

All the stores with construction outfront had signs so you know they're still open. The work didn't get in the way of my shopping at all.. easy to navigate. Grossmont has a good mix of top retail stores (target, Walmart, barnes and noble, dollar tree) and small businesses. I think it's value added to your shopping experience when you're able to meet business owners and see the impact your support has on a family. I hope the updates do not drive costs up and that small businesses remain. I've found great deals here when everything is just so expensive. If you have young kids, definitely go visit the playground! Avoid the overstock store. It's just not worth it. I am really looking forward to seeing the new food court. I hope it will look better and feel better when you walk inside because it just seemed so dirty for me and I didn't want to eat at any of the places. I tried one time and the place I wanted was closed. I have nothing against any individual food place. The look of the court made me uncomfortable and makes me question what I don't get to see. Anyways, I will keep shopping here and I'm glad to see money going into it opposed to tearing it down.

It's so close to the freeway and plenty of parking. Pretty good customer service at most of the stores. A major pet peeve of mine is having to drive from shopping center to shopping center for this & that. And, that & this. I have never used Insta Cart, Uber Eats - and refuse to pay for a mountain of nominal service fees. But, when I get done with my early morning sessions at Mc Grath YMCA (located at the far corner of the RSD Town Centre)- I can park my vehicle near Albertson's (with CVS pharmacy) and do my quick grocery shopping. There are Navy Federal CU's ATMs (and branch right next door). Target on the other side (Opens at 8am!). We have grabbed breakfast at Broken Yolk & used some of our coveted gift cards! Circle K convenience store with Mobil gas station! (Great location & wide spread. This is where I have suggested a few motorcycle meet ups). Star Nails salon that I used for the first time on weekday & it was crowded. And the prices are pretty reasonable for the work that I got! AAA location that I used a few months ago for travel services. Staples for my office needs & Cahoots for some home needs- since we just rescued a new bulldog. It has DDs which is owned by Ross Department Stores, Mor Furniture, CVS, and most importantly Pizza Hut (this location before COVID had a buffet style), as well as California Coast Credit Union, a tanning salon and other smaller businesses and restaurants to check out from Mexican to Japanese. There is plenty of parking, so don't worry about not finding a spot in this shopping center. This location has a few different entrances you can take to turn into this shopping center. It has always been clean and never any issues. I have noticed that Uhaul rents its trucks right next to DDs although there is no signs posted anywhere. There is another shopping center dire tly across from this one that is bigger. I believe qith the selection of stores this shopping center offers is very limited.
