Shopping in San Diego, California... I haven't been to Las Americas Premium Outlets yet, so it was time to visit this open-air mall. I gave my cousins an hour to look around. It wasn't enough time for me. I found an interesting business: "Last Chance Store"... where customers have a chance to purchase Amazon returns at a low price. The lowest is $1 on Wednesdays! I also had a chance to buy shoes at the Sketchers store. My cousins got work shoes... and even shorts, using a $50 coupon... what a deal, right? I believe that they were happy with this productive outing! I'm looking forward to returning and exploring more stores! read more

OUTLETS on the BORDER! Didn't get to visit all of the attractions/shops but it looked like a great day trip! The outlets have eateries and sizable stores. We picked up a relative at the Coffee Bean who was visiting from Mexico and it was a seamless pick-up. Parking is pricey, so I would recommend visiting some stores if you're here to meet-up with someone. Lots of folks pass through here from Mexico and vice versa. read more

It's been years since I've been at this place. So many more shops, so many more options. We came on a Saturday around 1:30 pm. The place was buzzing, parking lot was crowded as expected, but you can find a spot, people are always coming in and out. Very well kept. Definitely worth the drive every once in a while, especially if you are coming from Orange County like we are. Prices are ok. Somethings are cheaper, some others are at the same price as your local shops. Good way to spend a few hours here walking around, browsing the stores, grabbing a bite, etc. read more

I always go to this store and I always shop and left very happy and satisfied. But today it was an awful day being assisted by a staff claiming she is the Manager on duty, her name is Alegra. Very arrogant and poor customer service and the attitude is so unbecoming of a manager. If she is the manager what and how doea she train her staff to assist customer? This lady should not be in the Frontline. She does not show leadership skill, She came in the scenario like an owner of the store. Someone from management should look into this lady. She put bad reputation to this store because ahe is so arrogant. . read more

This is big outlet right at the border off the 5 freeway off Camino de La Plaza. Good variety of stores, including designer stores. The problem is the maintenance of the facilities, from the restrooms to the sidewalks shows the poor maintenance. They even had several electrical boxes without covers right on the walking area. Truly a hazard for pedestrian. Restrooms were terrible. They were smelly and so messy. Disgusting, they loooked like the restrooms at the bars in Tijuana They have this phone number to call if the restrooms need attention or to report something. No amswer. We were there for 3 hours and did not see any custodial cleaning up anything. Really poor maintenance. At least the stores are kept up and have a good variety of products. If not would have been a total waste of time. Never seen an outlet so poorly managed and maintained. read more

Everyone is helpful and friendly at Las Americas. It is located right along the border near the last US exit. There is parking and also valet parking on busy days. Some of the stores there are Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma, Psycho Bunny, Box Lunch, Movado, Jack and Jill, Skechers, New Balance, Ann Taylor, Loft, Calvin Klein, Polo, Hot Topic, Colhaan, Samsonite, Levi, Bath & Body Works, Columbia, and much more! We recently went to The Outlets at San Clemente which is much smaller with less selection and less deals. In fact, I saw some shoes I bought at San Clemente for $10 cheaper at Las Americas. It's not as clean as most outlet malls and depending on the wind - the air smell can be bad due to the sewage from Mexico. read more

Many shops. We didn't get to shop many of the stores. The outlets are located a min from the border. They are a few places to eat but are scattered throughout. More places across the street. We visited Nike, which was about a 10 min wait to get inside. Plan to stay a day that way, you get through all the stores. Good amount of parking. read more

When comes to festive decor and parking, Las Americas is a thumbs down. I would have expected more parking stalls, better mall signage, Christmas decorations, unique holiday displays in stores and holiday music. This mall lacked. Food court is so-so. We were in San Diego area during the memorial weekend and decided to explore couple of new places. We ended up coming to this huge outlet mall near the California and Mexico border. The outlet mall was super crowded. Finding a parking was a bit challenging, but we were able to find a spot within 15-20 minutes. Funny thing is that all the associates/workers at the outlet mall first greeted us with a nice friendly smile in Spanish and then they repeat it in English. They have variety of food in the food court area, and they also have couple of franchised eatery shops. There is also little play area for the little ones. We were able to buy few items for a good deal. We enjoyed exploring the Premium Outlets. read more

Came here because it's right before the border. There is a decent amount of shops at the outlets and there is plenty of parking.

What an awesome outlet!! I felt like I haven't seen a lot of the shops here compared to others we've been to. We happened to be in the area and decided to check it out before we headed back home to the valley. Great outdoor space, lots of seating and a tonnnn of shops. It felt endless!! It's right by the border so you can literally see the wall which is crazy. We walked around for a good hour until we called it quits. We didn't get much sleep the night before and it was already close to 3pm and we still had about a 2-3 hr drive home. We popped into a few shops, grabbed drinks, but mainly went shopping at Bath & Body!! I was so surprised to see a bath & body at an outlet. I stocked up on candles which is mainly what I needed most. It was incredible. All candles were $10 off AND they had scents you don't see anymore. I bought enough to last me a few months. It was extremely packed inside this tiny bath & body shop but a lot of workers to help out. The line was super long but went quickly because of the amount of workers they had. This is an outlet mall located right on the border. It is the last exit before the Mexican border. It has a large selection of stores, including well-known clothing brands (e.g. Loft, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Express), Disney Outlet, shoe stores, sports apparel, and a Last Chance store. There are also food trucks parked in the parking lot. I did not try any of the food trucks but they seemed popular. Unfortunately none of the clothing stores we visited had any great sales. Every store had discount signs posted all throughout the store, but they didn't seem like real sales. In addition, there were mostly size L and XL available in all the stores we checked out. The selection of S and M sizes was very small. As a result, we weren't able to buy any clothing. If you are into sports, I would recommend checking out Sports Treasure. They carry team jerseys and other sport team related items. The store also has a good selection of cap sizes. If you are unable to find the cap you like in the size you want, you can always ask the store clerk as they have more caps available in the front. I got a San Diego Padres baseball cap for $21. My companion also got a baseball cap. Overall, in terms of value, I found the pricing at most stores to be very similar to that at a typical mall. However some of the stores (like the Sports Treasure store or the Disney outlet store) might have pretty good sales if you look hard enough. read more

Whenever we are in San Diego, I always ask my BF to go to the Outlet Mall near the border. There are a lot of premium stores to shop from and you can find some pretty good deals. A few of my favorite stores are the Puma Outlet, Guess store, Children's Place and New Balance. I take the opportunity to buy a couple new things for my daughter and I when I'm there. I also love the food trucks in the parking lot that offer Mexican food and Mariscos. read more

I can't believe I don't have a review for this shopping complex! Las Americas is located right at the border of California and Mexico in San Ysidro. Prior to COVID-19, there were a ton of stores and no construction - from food court, 2 guess stores, Nike, Skechers, jewelry stores, puma, new balance, and a ton more. Since COVID-19. A few stores have since closed, and new stores occupy them, and some stores seem to change each time we go. Parking, while plentiful, is a pain. Even parking in the back, getting there is a hassle... you might have to circle a few times before finding a parking spot on the weekends. There have been times when the parking lot is closed off, and there are roach coaches with a few different types of food. Before covid, the outlets were discounted from regular prices, but it seems like a lot of the prices are regular unless there is a sale. read more

We enjoy coming here as there are a huge variety of stores, and we can usually find a good deal. The outlet is located right on the border, sometimes I worry I'll miss the freeway exit and drive into Mexico haha. It can get pretty crazy/crowded though on weekends, I would recommend getting here in the morning to find parking. The past couple times we arrived early afternoon and it was difficult finding parking even in the back. The outlet is huge and I usually like to stop by Columbia, Nike, Michael Kors, and a few other stores. We can spend hours here and only get to a fraction of the stores. The service has been friendly, although once when we went with a relative who was visiting from out of town, she told us the associates in Swarovski were very unfriendly and kept chattering among themselves without helping her. Also, the bathrooms usually don't seem that clean here. Last time there was liquid all over the floor and a very bad smell. I can usually find good deals here (at least compared to the mall), but it can be hit or miss..sometimes when there aren't any special sales going on the prices don't seem that discounted. I haven't tried any of the food here, but there seems to be a variety of places in the food court (and I've also seen food trucks out in the parking lot). Overall I would recommend coming here for some shopping! read more

If you're looking for branded and luxury products, it's time to shop at the Premier Outlet near Mexico. It's a great place to roam and buy items from brands like Nike, Columbia, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and more. There are also plenty of food options, from fast food to restaurants. I miss this place mostly if I invited the people they never tried yet. Next time I should capture again! As close as you can be to shopping in the U.S., without crossing over into Mexico. The mall reminded me a lot of the outlet malls in the midwest: outdoors with lots of ground level parking fronting every store, and being able to leisurely walk by every storefront, walking in if something catches your eye. The selection is pretty contemporary, showing modern relevant brands, each having decent selections. The mall did seem to have an oversized amount of places-to-eat. We even saw a fleet of food trucks (with a dedicated dining area). It was the weekend after Memorial Day, so it was not crowded at all, with few great sales to draw people in. But unlike other outdoor outlet malls that we've been to, this one just seemed like it was just at a quiet time of the week and that it would pick up significantly at other times. There were no empty storefronts, and we loved how they had planted different fragrant-rich flowers through-out: with the cool breeze and mostly cloudy weather, it was a pleasant way to pass a couple of hours. read more

Had a pleasant experience coming here for the first time. It my bf's suggestion to check this out after he heard so much about it! Coming off the freeway exit and passing by a school to get to the parking lot.. I was surprised and glad that parking wasn't extremely tough for a Saturday evening! Walking around wasn't bad with people and the outlet is spacious. In terms of stores, there is a great variety to choose from. It's also cool to note that this was the first outlet I've seen that also had park apparatuses for children so that they could have fun going here too! We only went inside stores that had striking sales/markdowns listed. I feel like the sales were okay? Definitely cheaper than the mall prices which is always the goal, but not huge necessarily in discounts. I thankfully got what I was looking for so all in all, a great experience! We also brought our doggy too and the staffs and guests around were also very friendly and welcoming seeing my furry baby. read more

One of my favorite places to go during the holidays is the Las Americas Outlet Mall in San Ysidro. Almost all of the stores have great sales and many of our favorite stores are here. This mall can get really busy to the point where parking can be a challenge, so we make like the early bird and arrive shortly after the mall opens. Once inside, the mall is spread out nicely, so you're not in a huge crowd even if there is a lot of foot traffic at the mall. We come a ways to get to this mall, but are never disappointed. We always score great deals that keep us coming back! read more

Been here 3 or 4 times and this place is always bustling. I didn't realize Black Friday was a huge thing here...crazy busy. So many people standing in lines to go into shops, people pulling luggages and not to mention people with bags and bags of their store bought items. I've been a fan of Las Americas for yeeears! It's true, parking can be difficult, however that's only because this place is so incredibly popular. Come early, shop all day, and you'll be content every time. There are so many great shops here: Nike, New Balance, Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Aldo, Ralph Lauren, Penguin, North Face, Lids, Clarks, Guess, Under Armour, the list goes on. There are also a number of food options at the food court, a Starbucks, as well as a number of kiosks selling drinks, kettle corn, etc. There truly is something for everybody. Honestly, there is so much to see here you may want to plan two days of shopping here. Pick a weekend and live it up. Treat yourself don't cheat yourself! From the many Shopping Malls that I gave seen from the many malls that are in the city of Las Vegas and the Southern Calif area. The many areas of the well done and the designed malls which have been ones that have the many ways you can get shopping and the sources of the parking that many malls provide. There is one mall that is by the way of Westfield company that owns the many other malls here in San Diego and the North County. The many malls that are outside and some that are inside many of those that are of the Plaza Bonita and Parkway Plaza. The one that comes up is near the United States Border which one part is open and the back area you come across the Issue of no photos to be taken of the mall. With many malls they let people take pictures with their family and friends and kids yet there was one thing the back area of the mall I found was a private area mall. No pictures or any type of phone pictures were not allowed at the mall. The mall being so close to the International border I have seen people climb over the fence they carry drug sacks trying to sneak through the mall and the cars. The large parking lots with the many stores from the leather and sports shoes and the designer clothing company's that you find at the mall that has restaurants to the front and small eatery inside. I look for the food courts that are clean and has the blue health card at the door to let people know it's registered and licensed through California. When I had arrived by way of the San Diego Transit seeing the many money changing places it looked like something from Downtown Las Vegas. I had shopped at the mall before it was the mall that you could get tax free merchandise when you come to certain places is to look for company merchandise that is real and fake . With my day at the mall and the walk through the mall finding the back part of the second half of the mall was private there was no signs. Malls like this should be open to all not keeping people away when I saw that people were leaving from the back area . When I had taken a look at the history of the mall the owner owns a public mall that is open to the public and the co owner of several strip malls. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the mall is one of the widest to have so many stores with very few directories I was looking for ones that told of the Westfield deals and bargains. The mall I would say is to be one that you could find in the area of the North Los Angeles area. Finding the atmosphere of the mall geared toward those that are from south of the border. There were few American stores that had a mix of shoppers that showed the mall has a mix of stores that can be for the many countries of the world . read more

It's a large outlet, shopping area that's located at the end of Southern California. You can see Tiajuana, Mexico right along the border. There's plenty of stores but the prices seemed a little high compared to elsewhere, considering it's an "outlet", which are usually heavily discounted. read more

This outlet no longer has the quality of merchandise like it used to be. Plus, it's very dirty overall. But the most annoying issue I have with the majority of this outlet, I feel that the staff and employees should speak English in front of their non-Hispanic customers when making a return or purchase. It's just rude to speak a language where the customer does not understand during a transaction. I also speak another language, but when helping customers who are not able to understand, it's more professional to speak a language where customers can relate and understand. read more

This outlet have a pretty good amount of stores; one of the best outlets in San Diego in my opinion . It also have a food court and bathrooms throughout the premises. Downfall of this place is the Parking, it can be tricky on the weekends. Very good place to walk and get your steps in. Many many stores in the surrounding area as well. read more

Only a 20 minute drive from San Diego! It is adjacent to the border with the fence directly behind the rear parking lot. Parking is abundant but tight. We found great savings at the Adidas store - we received a deep discount of 60 percent because we are essential workers. We had to hustle back to the airport so I missed out on going to the Coach store. The H&M was huge but mainly catered to women. Nearly 60 percent of the store is women's, another 10 percent for kids, and the remaining 30 percent for men. Also, most of the clothes for men weren't discounted. The Nike outlet had a large selection of shoes at low prices. I walked away with a pair of hoop shorts and a shirt. Unfortunately, they didn't honor an essential workers discount like Adidas (it can be redeemed online though). We didn't get to eat at the food court because we weren't hungry but the dining options looked pretty good. It's an outdoor mall - dress accordingly.
