Let that sink in for a moment before I begin this review. Some background: I've been frequenting this rest stop ever since I met my husband (then boyfriend) back in 2012. His family lives in central Kansas and this stop is **roughly** halfway between KC and where most of them live. We both have always agreed that it's a solid store and likely the best one in eastern Kansas, before you hit bigger cities that have QTs available. It was a record breaking cold day the last time I was here with my family and we stopped as per usual for a quick restroom break and to pick up a bottle of water or two before continuing on our journey west. As is has been every other time I've been here over the past decade, it was clean, the folks working courteous, the bathrooms well stocked, and plenty of snacks and beverages to choose from. So, what makes this place 4 instead of 5 stars you might ask? Just a few small things: 1. they only carry one brand of sparkling water and are often out of it. That's my number one request at any rest stop these days and on my last visit here I snagged the very last bottle, I'm sure to someone else's dismay. 2. It's a great convenience store/ gas station but it just can't compare to the kings in this category like WaWa and QuikTrip. I will say though, what sets this spot from the others is consistency. This stop has come through for me on many occasions and I'm sure will continue to do so for years to come.

I called the phone number and no answer so we were nervous to drive several miles off the exit to see if it was actually there but we really had no other choice. The good news is that it was there and open on a Sunday morning. No idea what the hours are but it does exist, not a mirage!

I relied on the internet and am writing this review for any other poor souls as dumb as I am who might find themselves on this same stretch of road and are frantically looking on Yelp and elsewhere for a gas station before they run out of gas. So, this was bookmarked for me on my I-70 road trip so I'd know (hopefully) where clean bathrooms could be found. This gas station looks a bit dumpy from the exterior and I almost bailed on it. But we gave it a shot. The bathrooms are clean and perfectly serviceable. Cleanest ever? Homey? No. Just a typical utilitarian gas station bathroom, which was thankfully clean and stocked with TP, soap and paper towels. The convenience store offered a cheap fountain drink special which was nice; I needed something to perk me up. The lady at the counter was friendly. Hardly anyone else was there so getting gas and checking out was quick and easy. Selection at small convenience store very basic. Bottom line- if all u want is gas and a clean pit stop, come on by. But don't go out of your way if you need more options or expect more than the basics.

Bought a car wash at the pump, then learn that the car wash was broken…read more No one in the store is authorized to process a refund, so I can either 1) call the corporate office (no one answered) 2) come back within 30 days and hope they've fixed it. This is a known issue. It's happened before. Are store-level employees able to disable car wash sales at the pump when the care wash is broken? (I don't know, but I DOUBT it.)

I stopped at this gas station as I was in town on work related business. This gas station is located off of Major Highway, Highway 24. Which means this road is very busy and gets a lot of in and out customers. With that being said they were two things that made my experience not very well. Number one was they were remodeling, therefore there were things laying all around drywall dust and debris everywhere. The second thing was the unfriendliness of the staff. No one said hello, matter fact I don't think anyone even realized I was there. The bathrooms were not in the best of shape. Toilets hadn't been flushed countertops and not been cleaned . I just basically decided to stop somewhere else and I left very disappointed.

I was headed toward Milford Kansas, which is kind of a deserted little town and there are no gas stations there but this gas station was right before I headed towards Milford. So the location was perfect it sits on the corner of Highway 177. The sign has no damage to it you can clearly see that you are at the right gas station the parking lot is clean free of debris parking is ample they only have 3 gas pumps and one of the gas pumps is weirdly behind the building. When you walk inside shelves are fully stocked a lady was sweeping and cleaning the floors and considering that the gas station is surrounded by gravel it is understandable that you have to sweep those floors consistently with customers bringing in gravel when they walk through the doors. The staff were very nice and friendly and the bathroom was clean. It's a nice little convenient place to stop when there's really nothing else between Junction City and Milford.
