In the beginning I was in real crisis - stopped work, couldn't walk around the block, sleep or really function at all for the first year before I was diagnosed. At that time they were very kind to me. There was one therapist I didn't want to work with as I was in intolerable pain during the session and for days afterwards, but I was fine working with the other three wonderful therapists. Then one left and another stopped coming in as much. I still felt very comfortable seeing the one who was still working and for the past year I've happily seen him for my sessions with no problem that I was aware of. Yesterday one of the owners (Kim) was in the office - I didn't recognize her so I guess she's not in much when I have been. I saw that the July schedule was open and asked if I could make my July appointments. She said that she wouldn't schedule me as I wasn't following their rules despite being "talked to about it before". Her tone was really rude. I haven't been talked to about it at all and thought it was fine for me to see the therapist I was comfortable with. No-one has ever mentioned an issue when I've made appointments before and staff are usually very pleasant. Kim sounded utterly disgusted with me and I guess wanted to be sure that I knew how she felt about me. It was a shock as I had no idea who she was and I don't think (?) I've spoken to her in the past couple of years. I'm still giving the practice 3 stars because I really do think they can be great, and I've seen good improvement on my health. I'm just really sad that she was so rude to me yesterday. Maybe she was having a bad day and wanted to flex her muscles at my expense? Kim has apparently given a conflicting version of what happened - but there was a young girl sitting at the front desk who must have heard most of it. I would say go to this practice and hope that you don't get on the wrong side of Kim. Now I am stopping PT cold turkey until I can find somewhere else to go. It's a disappointing end as I have recommended them so many times over the past two years. I still do, just with caveats. Kim can be seriously mean without warning and I was quite upset when I left.

My sessions were from Feb 14th to April 11th, 2024. I had neuropathy left heel/ankle, sciatica, lumbar pain with weakness of my left leg. Nicholas Schulman was my DPT during that time. He is all the synonyms I can muster, insightful,intelligent, caring etc. Nick was very patient with me during my 'freak out' of my left heel/ankle pain, chronic lumbar and Left leg problems. My primary therapist is Heather Lampe, DPT, but I also give high grades to Martin and Logan (also DPTs). I am sure these folks have bad days, but they never show that to their clients/patients. They are pleasant, witty, kind and patient. They are also challenging when it is appropriate. Justin, the first person you meet, keeps the schedules organized and works to adjust the schedule to meet your needs. Heather is particularly adept at adjusting exercises to meet your needs. I know I have made the incredible progress I have since my 7/13 surgery because of A) my surgeon's skill (Dr. David Kolessar), B) the skill and personality of the therapists at Integrated Physical Therapy, and C) my own determination and commitment to my recovery.

Don't go here if you have a complex condition, like hEDS or another hypermobility condition. At…read morethe time (this was over a year ago) I came in not yet diagnosed as hEDS, but made them aware that I was in the process and the issues I was having. My script was for whole spine PT. The person they gave me really seemed not to know what to do with that, and it seemed clear very quickly that she didn't want to deal with me. She was verbally abusive to me when I said I couldn't do certain exercises (I couldn't) or was having trouble with them. She seemed irritated or something that she couldn't just give me exercises and go. I often was overseen by a tech or another PT, the latter often giving me helpful tips bc they could see I was struggling. She didn't remember I had no at-home exercises (which I thought was weird - that I had none), and when she asked me if I was doing them, I looked at her like - what? It took several sessions before I asked where to get the stretchy bands and she goes "oh, we sell them here." Why would you not say that in the first place? I kept debating whether to just leave, but thought I'd "tough it out." Never again. The last straw was when she put me on a leg press or something and tried to start me at 50lbs. After I was still struggling with the other exercises. I said I could not do 50 lbs., and she berated me. But i did get less than that. After one day doing the press and something else new, I honestly could not move. I spent the day laying on the couch bc my back was rigid. I never went back. I cancelled my next appointment, and then got a call the day I was supposed to go wondering where I was. Wish I'd cancelled sooner.

(I am not clumsy - I've just been running for a long time.) Last year, Donna guided me through a hamstring tear that helped me recover in time to run my dream Marathon!
