I paid this business to install a new liner in our 33 ft above ground pool. The 2 guys that came to…read moreour home did not install the liner correctly and when the left for the day they left the vacuum on and told me to fill with water up to first line on the liner. It started buckling up our pool. I immediately called them the manager told me to unplug the vacuum and it was normal but the guys would come back the next day. The had several areas that had pulled loose they told me it needed a different piece to hold onto the metal. So they installed that. Then put our top rail on which we're not right alot of it were put on backward. It was April too cold to get in our pool. We had alot of rain in April going into May. Once we started getting in our pool we noticed the imprint of small screws under our liner. We called the manager he told us he was not responsible for that even though we paid them to install it and we had a heavy rock barrier under our old liner that they pulled up and raked under it. Then installed our new liner. We paid over a $1,000 for 2 water trucks to come fill our pool after the liner was installed. So I wasn't about to have to drain it and pay to have another company have to fix our liner and have to refill it again. This company should have corrected it. They had a guy come when we were not home even after being told to call us we wanted to be here. The screws are still under the liner and we were told they will puncture the liner with people walking on them. We are beyond upset with the absolute unprofessionalism of this company. And we have multiple pics and witnesses to prove everything stated. We will not recommend using this business.

I don't know what happen to the big guy that ran the store, he was always friendly, and very knowledgeable about pool stuff. now all they have is this girl that asks someone else for the answers and a guy that just sits at the other counter in the corner and doesn't acknowledge you. They are always out of stuff, and they never answer the phone or return messages! I needed a sand change for my filter, but I was told that service calls are only done on Mondays, and I would have to pay $200+ just to schedule it and it would take 2 weeks to get to me? very rude people working there now! I have been a long-time customer for 10+ years, and this place is absolutely terrible! With openings, closings, and chemicals I spend $2500.00 a season, NOT ANYMORE! Going to give Malibu a try now! The company…read morewas unprofessional, left trash everywhere, overspray, manager did not return calls, did the work incorrectly twice, and now Barrier Reef has fired them from the job and hired another company. They do not know how to apply the finish and left the pool looking like they spray painted it in spots and gritty sandpaper. Unprofessioanal both times and drove their trailer right through my yard as they did not know how to back up a trailer. It's bad when barrier reef has to fire them on the job site

All we can do is order another liner and have it installed correctly. I have reached out to Gold Star Pools And Concrete requesting they refund us the liner and the labor to install it. I am not asking they refund the filter they replaced even though it looks terrible and the monitor is facing our house and we will need to install a mirror in order to see what it says. We will see what they decide to do. Own that they accidentally ordered it wrong twice and refund us or be reported to the BBB and go to small claims court.

Poor communication for the starts but always willing to speak when he needed money. Not one piece of pool equipment has been delivered, pool liner has not been delivered. Paid for four feet on concrete pool decking.. none of it has been delivered despite five cashed checks totaling over $85,000. And to make matters worse, HE NEVER PULLED PERMITS!!! All I have left are warped pool walls due to being exposed to the elements and cracked concrete in many places that's falling apart.

His expert knowledge on the process was easy to understand throughout the project. The construction team was outstanding to work with. The front office folks are always professional, courteous, and could answer my questions in real-time or connect me to the right person to answer any/all questions. Blue Haven's Service Department has been great to work with over the past year Sara, Todd, and the entire service team. The owner Mark has reached out to me several times throughout the project asking is there any concerns/questions. Blue Haven has built our dream pool and it has been is several publications and a few more this Fall. Recommend Highly!!!!

We had Blue Haven back to close our pool for the year and the employees doing so were extremely rude to my wife and I. We just shrugged it off and had them re open the pool to learn it was not shut down properly and our pool heater that is imperative to using the pool in the early months of the year was broken due to this process. After months of fighting someone finally came out to determine that it was broken beyond repair and it would need to be replaced. They did replace it and we lost half of a season in this process. We sold this home. In doing so we learned the fence Blue Haven who worked with a sub contractor to install as a requirement of having the pool was installed outside of our property line. I immediately reached out to Don about this. His response was that they went of the plot plan that we gave him that was supplied by the county and did not do a survey because previous customers did not like to pay for it to understand where the fence legally needed to be placed. Due to this we were on our own to resolve this matter. This cost our family 1800 dollars.I simply asked Don during this conversation who I should have our legal representation to reach out to at Blue Haven and his response was "it'll cost a lot more for an attorney than it would to move your fence back in Barret. Quite a bit more, but you can have them reach out to Blu Haven." "In a whole lot more time. I told Ruben it was urgent because you're moving December 2 so he's gonna come pretty Quickly but I can tell him to hold off if you wanna get your attorney involved." My family and I feel violated and talked down to by this response when we simply wanted a resolution to a problem we did not cause. We were not given a choice to not have a survey completed and then were told by Blue Haven we were responsible for the cost of the error. 1800.00
