Although I was recommended this place they were a complete nightmare. Maria and Esmeralda were both unprofessional yet they charged me $849 dollars. They wouldn't even call me back to go over my taxes. But gladly took my money. I would never recommend this place. Go elsewhere for your tax needs. read more

Today ( 2-26-2019) we have an appointment set for 6:00 pm to do our taxes for the 1st time, I knew I was going to be late so I called them to tell them to re-schedule, for the next day, but they told my wife that they will wait for us for 15 minutes, so finally we got there 3 minutes after six and we wait, and wait at the end I told my wife since we were going to be late to wait at least 20 minutes, I NEED TO TRUST THIS PEOPLE TO BE PROFESSIONALS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED BUT THAT NEVER HAPPEN. So we asked the lady at the front desk to give us the w2 back and leave at 6:38 pm, I called Ernesto to give them some feedback and to let him know I was very disappointed of the very 1st-time service and to complained of what happened. Pure crap stay away took a month to see someone after my appointment was set for a week

Sad to say that I will not be returning in 2016. I have learned my lesson with regard to not coming here again (and again) if I am not 100% satisfied with their service. And it could just be that me and the business just don't jive(?) A bummer to say the least because I have come back annually out of a sense of loyalty. The staff is so friendly and they try so hard to accommodate but when I'm left feeling awkward for a mistake that wasn't my own, then I think I've had enough. read more

I would never recommend this place. First of all I must say that I have NOT been a client of theirs. However, my mom used to own a business, and therefore, had an employer tax ID number. This place used her tax ID number on multiple tax returns for other people which caused a huge headache dealing with the IRS for years -including money being taken from her bank account until she proved the wrong doing of this business, and that the tax returns filed by them had nothing to do with my mom/her business. Now is it possible that people were giving them the incorrect information? Absolutely. However we attempted to contact them multiple times in hopes of resolving the issue and the just kept brushing her off. read more

The service there sucks. I set a appointment 2 weeks in advance and the day before my appointment . They called me saying the the lady will be there late but wouldn't clarify how long. A co-worker and friend of mine referred this business to me. You can ask for a quote for $50.00 and if you know the estimate of what you're getting you have a choice to continue filing or not. I filed yesterday and i don't know if IRS received it now. Before i went to the office i request for my own pin so i can give it to the tax preparer. I personally told the preparer to put the pin i request at the IRS. I always encounter problem with my tax return and it took me how many months just to wait for my refund not unless i give my own personal pin for security reason i was a victim of identity theft. But much to my surprise she didn't put my own personal requested pin. I'm just trying to avoid another worst experienced. Recommend this company to my colleagues. Will probably come back next year. Update: Yes! At least I didn't encounter problem. Two times it happen. So just scared to to experienced problem with IRS for the third time. Thank You! I give this business 5star. read more

Worse tax service. Can't answer their phone. Can't update their google search page to inform their clients of their changed hours. And they don't allow clients into their office, you have to wait outside and discuss your business outside. Have no consideration for the handicap that can't be standing or in the sun to long. read more

I had a recent review which I am updating. I got my N400 filed and somehow the copy I got had different answers than which I gave and I went to talk to them about it. Ernesto was nothing but helpful in the whole process and we figured out that the copy that was sent had most answers right but one. I'm not sure what happened during the initial appointment and why that one was answered wrong but Ernesto did everything possible to correct the issue and help with what's possible. I don't think I've had a better experience anywhere resolving a problem than at Plaza Tax Service you can tell they really care about their customer service and clients. Thank you! read more

They didn't really help me at all, I had to pay for a filling extension where taxes were not filled, they contacted me after the deadline so I had to pay late filling fees and they still have the nerve to send me a birthday card. The whole purpose of going there was to get help and save money and it was the complete opposite. read more

I have to say although there was a break in the communication, today My husband and I went in and were personally helped by Ernesto. He spent the extra time to help make sure all our taxes were the best they could be and he even discounted our fee. My husband has been going to this place since they almost open it. He has been a faithful client and when we got married we did our taxes at this place every year. We went this year all the way from San Diego. When we got there we noticed we forgot my new born baby ss#. Miriam Galicia said we can just give her a call and she would enter it and then send out taxes. She gave us her card and everything nice. When we got home we called her and the receptionist picked up and said she was with a client to leave a call back number and she would give us a call back. She didn't call I called back 2 1/2 hrs later and again the same response I asked what time they closed they said 7pm and i said ok no problem we will wait. 12pm of the following day no call. I decide to call again and the receptionist says that Miriam said she can take my case and that I can give the info over the phone. Its disappointing the lack of courtesy. It's like once you pay $201 for their service customer service goes out the window. This will be the last time we go to this place you have lost a very faithful customer. read more

The receptionist quoted us $176.00 or a little more for a very small 3 man partnership that was only in business for 6 months out of 2015. We had everything added up with total sales at around $10,000. That would have been fine but when we got the total cost it was $450.00 and was never told in advance about the price change. if I had known the price I would have gone to my tax preparer that does my personal and small business taxes for $150.00. Maria got offended by me asking why so much when the return only took her 20 minutes. Ernesto the owner wouldn't work out any deal with us. She said all businesses cost the same. really? As I see it this company preys on individuals that don't know prices and are not savvy. It's too bad that making money is the most important thing to them. If the place is busy it must be doing something right. So I came in to file for my tax return, saw it was busy but hey during tax season everything is busy. So I was greeted by a gentlemen in the front desk and right away took me in handed him my w2's and a number guessing when your number is called its your turn. Well during the wait they have comedy channels on you know keeping the positive vibes and smile going on btw the staff is nice they greet you with a smile. So I immediately asked to make an appointment and they said sure, so I made an appointment for the next day and had the pleasure of meeting Esmeralda Bolaños as my tax agent. She did an amazing job with my refund she is fast and has plenty knowledge about her work. She walks you through the whole process so you can see and understand your refund!
