While I was broken down last week in a parking lot (my ignition cylinder broke), I called to ask if someone could come out to help me hot wire my car as I did not have the tools in the parking lot to do it myself. While I was on the phone, the man doubted my diagnosis and tried saying it could've been from a chipped key. He further stated that in order for him to come out and "diagnose" my car and to help me start it to move to a different location, he was going to charge me $125. I didn't see the purpose in having someone come out to the parking lot to tell me a diagnosis that I already knew, and I didn't need it moved anywhere as I was in a parking lot and not on the side of the road.
