We paid for an inspection and permits That never happened. They were disorganized and training new people and we paid for their unprofessionalism. Communication was a joke. They refused to return our deposit and the manager became irritated and refused to take our calls. They cheated us out of money they did not have coming. Avoid them!

After providing more affordable quotes from local contractors (30-50% less than Malley's), Clark suddenly told us--over two months into the process--that we couldn't buy the home unless we used only Malley Construction (which is owned by the same family). This was never disclosed upfront, not in person, online, or in any written materials. Their website and even their responses to negative reviews suggest buyers can choose their own contractors, which clearly isn't true. This caused a major delay in our financing and home-buying process. We've now lost over two months and had to start from scratch--all due to this bait-and-switch tactic. Extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency and unethical behavior. Proceed with caution.

Once the site evaluation was done, the fourth and final quote came in $75,000 more than the first three did. We knew that the quotes were estimates, but we were totally blown away with how much it went up. When we questioned it, things turned bad quickly. They became very defensive and stopped answering our questions. I can't express how disappointed we are in this company. I truly believe they low-balled us with numbers to get us in. Buyer beware of any quote you receive from them!
