From the beautiful cotton of sheets and towels, to the food prepared with passion and the finest ingredients by beautiful Cecilia, to the elegant warmth of the house, to the sound of nature that surrounds the place, to the love you feel from Andrea and Cecilia and their horses and pets. He has been amazing with our kids. My daughter has never rode a horse, well in one hour she could go with him riding Espresso. We were originally parked in a spot that was un-level. They were open to us moving to another open spot for our stay. I also had a camper leak the first night. Staff left me use tools to fix the problem while my husband was at work. Of course, he had all of our tools with him lol. Since moving spots eve thing has been great! They have a small store for buying drinks and chips. The have a place to wash clothes or sit and enjoy the camp fire. They have a playground for children. Quiet place and the neighbors have been friendly. Everything is about 30 minutes away so be prepared to drive to get to things. If you are looking for quiet and getting out into nature this is the spot for you. They have WiFi, picnic tables and fire pits/grills. Most spots are in shaded areas. Keeps the camper cool at the heat of the day.

Dear Friends, I'm a…read morelover of staycations for many reasons. The most important is a change of scenery and a place close to home is necessary to review and renew. Let's face it, life can be super busy and having a moment to press pause, reflect, and rejuvenate is key. I spent three days an two nights at this site and it fantastic. The room is so well decorated and filled with the amenities of home. It trucks the brain and you forget that you're literally sleeping in a large tent. The tent is equipped with a real bed with all the things we love including a very comfortable mattresses. The tent also has chairs, a refrigerator, coffee maker, and an a/c and heating unit. My favorite part of the site is the restrooms and shower building. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it is kept. While I was there, I was greeted by the Timberline staff several times cleaning the restrooms. Group Suggestions: I'd suggest booking a few of the tents and having a nice family reunion. I'd also bring bikes and fishing equipment. There is a dock next to the site and I'm sure it's a great place to fish. Since my stay, they now have someone who offers golf cart rentals. That would be great to use to go play disc golf or go to one of the beaches there. Solo Suggestions: This is a solo travelers dream because they offer a place to renew. I'm going to give this place five stars--with the caveat that our first night was absolutely awful!…read moreWe arrived late (no problems there--went right to our site with no trouble) but at 2:15am had to confront a campsite that was blaring music and laughing loudly. It was confrontational and ugly, as the ladies were hammered. After the cops came at 3am and they (finally) passed out in a drunken stupor, I was able to squeeze in two hours of rest. The park ranger in the morning was awesome. Manager asked the campers to leave without much fanfare (but to the delight of the other campsites...). Facilities are simple but maintained. Great lake access and friendly vibe all-around. From what the park ranger shared, it's rare for any troubles at this camp. By 10pm it's quiet and peaceful. It's truly a gem of a park!
