I've used them four times for PHL (Airport) transport and service has been reliable, prompt, and worth the extra $$ over Uber or Lyft. The driver has always been at my condo 5-10 minutes prior to scheduled pickup for early morning departure. Last Saturday we came back to PHL (1/14/22) from Palm Beach, Fl around 5:15 pm. The driver called and texted us to let us know he was waiting in a White Lincoln, clear instructions of meeting place, and we found his car as soon as we left the terminal. It was freezing Saturday night and we probably would have still been waiting for Uber by the time we got home. Excellent reliable service

Since I wasn't sure on rates, I had seen (on another hotels site) that it was a flat $28.50 to go to the airport, but after calling 215getacab, the dispatcher quoted $32 give or take. He could have been more helpful, but technically he did answer my main question. As for the information online, I didn't know what an egress fee was, or information about the meters, etc. for this specific trip, so I just bit the bullet and managed to get one from my hotel. There is a hotel fee for about $3 which isn't terrible, but now I can see why people go around the corner to hail a cab themselves to avoid the fee. Kwame was my cab driver, and he was cool. We talked a little but mostly had the ride in silence which was fine with me. He did start the meter by accident, but I was charged a lesser fee once we arrived. I felt the trip was shorter than expected, as it's been so long since I've taken a lot of these roads, especially to the airport. Once we arrived, Kwame was kind to carry my bag to the curb under the overpass so it would stay out of the rain. I know some people had negative experiences here, but I'm pleased to say mine was the opposite. Thanks to Kwame and 215 for getting me safely to where I needed to go!

What…read morestarted at a positve experience with a driver (named Jonathan) arriving to my house at the exact time requested, a seamless drop-off at my requested destination turned turned into a frustrating experience. Upon arrival to destination, I gave my credit card to the drive to cover the $60+ fare, and he wrote down the credit card # on his clipboard. I game him a $10 cash tip in the meantime. I was also looking for pickup later in the day, so told him I would be looking for a ride later for a return trip home. No problem, and he supplied his cell # to text him later. Later in the day, I proceed with a text and he texts back to say he is not in the area and no other drivers are available within 20-30 mins. No problem, I pursued another taxi company and requested a pickup. Not too much later, my Main Line taxi driver calls to let me know he can come to pick me up, but he was a little way away. No problem, I'll wait for him. After an hour, no cab and I ended up taking my "backup" from another cab company. Lo and behold a phone call from Main Line saying my taxi had arrived. At this point, I had already taken my "backup" cab the 45 min commute home and was resting comfortably. Over and done with, right? Nope. I check my credit card statement a few days later to see 2 pending transactions from Main Line taxi. One was for the original cab ride ($60) and another charge had appeared for $81. Turns out the driver went ahead and charged me a fare for his failed pickup after having been over an hour late. Needless to say I have since disputed the fraudulent charges with my bank and will do everything in my power to make people aware of the difficulty I encountered. Take into consideration that this could be a case of one renegade driver, but it does reflect negatively on Main Line Taxi as a whole. I'll be relaying the same to the Better Business Bureau.

I took a ride across me $7 I dropped my item that's only like $7 and they charge me $20 to retrieve it it's like holding your item for ransom. So I look at it like if it's an item that's not worth retriever leave it be and if it is worth retrieving more likely you won't be able to get it and they won't reimburse you but yet they will charge you $20 to retrieve your own items. I use Uber a lot and they're about to lose a very good customer because they care about the money more than they care about their customers
