Anthony was very professional, responsive and flexible with my budget and still gave a 5 Star performance for my 50th Birthday Celebration. Him and the band members played and sang a variety of songs, not to mention being a great sax player and we also had a trumpet player as well! My guests were so thrilled to hear them play, Plena Vista had the crowd on the dance floor!. They had a female singer join them, who if you had your eyes closed, would guess you were listening to Selena all over again, what a great voice! A great variety of both English and Spanish songs, cumbias, salsa, instrumental and a great imitation of Bruno Mars!!!! Their DJ kept the hits coming while the band took a break. During our wedding planning, we found Plena Vista on Yelp and they had good reviews. We found out that they were performing at Fantasy Springs casino and we took a drive to see and hear them play. The casino event was outdoors, and they had the crowd dancing away. We decided to hire them for a wedding on November 28, 2022 and it was one of the best decisions. At our wedding they were amazing and very professional. My entire family danced and enjoyed the music. We would like to thank them for being a part of our special day. I kept searching and searching and they were exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to communicate and punctual! Their vibe, their style, the music, the talent and their friendliness. I booked Plena Vista Music for my 50th birthday party in Riverside, and boy am I glad I went with them. They completely blew everyone away with their music and talent. They started with a soft jazz duo during cocktail hour for the initial reception, and that alone had people asking about them and complimenting the ambiance. Then the main party ensued with the Latin "Quartet" (they actually showed up with a 5-piece band), and the party was on. They had everyone dancing salsa, Latin tunes, cumbia, rock en español, all with fantastic vocals, both male and female. I cannot say enough about them. They showed up over 1-hour earlier than expected to do their setup. Communication with John was superb the months, weeks, and then just days prior to the event. I really hope we get the chance to book them for our next event. We had about 120 guests, and everyone was asking me where we found these guys and couldn't rave enough about how well they played. What a amazing band played all the English and Spanish favorites we were burning chankla all night long very flexible and loves what they do all had real smiles even after they got pushed back 1 hr they didn't try to charge me for that hour highly recommend them. This is a very talented and versatile band. I had the pleasure of working with John and engaged his services to DJ at my house party and he had my guests rocking non-stop. He even played my favorite reggae music just to prove his versatility. I heard John and his brother, Anthony played at a business event providing Christmas music and oh my goodness..... the music they played was fantastic and If you really want to have a great entertainment for your next party I highly recommend Plena Vista Music at your next event. I was hoping I can leave a great review but I never got to experience them for my event. I booked this band after hearing them at a friends party 6 months prior to my event. Had a great conversation with them as I was leaving and booked them right away with a security deposit. I was supposed to receive a contract and music list but nothing came in. 2 weeks before my event I sent a text asking for an update no response. I finally called the next day because I was feeling anxious. Always go with your gut. John answered and I got the pep talk that I love what I do and I take my job serious, etc. BTW I got a call from Big boy do you know who he is? I was like who, huh? Anyways, he needs me on the same day as your event but I'm going to send someone just as good that I work with. I was taken back like are you really telling me this? Keep in mind, I only got the band because John and his brother were the vibe. So, being in a vulnerable state and my event was in two weeks I went along with his story and was going to work with another band they were going to send me. Ultimately, I ended up canceling since I didn't feel comfortable with the unknown. I booked way in advanced and sent a security deposit to just be told that Big Boy was more important. I cancelled with John and same thing no response, until the next day and said I hope everything works out. No refund or anything. Just hired this band for a wedding. They did not disappoint!!! They are as customer friendly as they are talented! DJs are nice but Plena Vista brought touch of class we needed for our special occasion! If you want chill diner music, no problem. R&B they got it. Salsa, they do that too! I surprised my husband with a backyard dinner for his birthday, Covid edition, & thought it'd be fancy to hire a saxophonist. We had our daughters sweet 16 this past weekend, Anthony and John were fantastic! I was so excited for our event since they were a surprise for our guest. They totally exceeded my expectations and we're definitely the highlight of the night! When they were playing I had such calmness and joy in my heart! We are a Latin x family and they played music that hit close to home! Everyone at our party was blown away and is literally looking for an excuse to have a party just to have them play there!
