Bsi Financial Services - Made up fees

BSI is by far the WORST company I have ever been forced to work with. I was unwillingly transferred…read moreto BSI last summer randomly. No notice, no documentation. It was just gone out of my Essex portal showing as paid off... So once I finally figured out the BSI stuff I decided to refinance my home at the beginning of this year... Welp, don't get too excited if you want to refinance and are currently with BSI because they will make your life a living hell to get that completed. Mine still isn't complete. I started the process in January and it is now almost May... Everything for my refi is complete and has been completed for months, we are literally only waiting on BSI to give us a subordination release form for my new lender. One of their people on the phone laughed in my FACE as I was asking for the form. He told me they don't do that and I should have checked with my mortgage broker before I started my refinance and the only way to get the loan gone is to pay it all off in full...... But when my mortgage lady calls BSI, they say they will release it. So we are getting all kinds of mixed information. Not only is this keeping my refinance from closing, it's also causing issues with other policies I opened regarding this refinance. So my new home insurance is canceling today because we still haven't closed BECAUSE of BSI not releasing my form. And I'm now being asked to pay thousands of dollars upfront for my premium policies so they don't get canceled because it's mandatory to have active home insurance to get approval for a refinance. Lastly, good luck trying to reach anyone helpful on the phone if you call. I lost count of how many times they transferred me, almost all of them were rude or had an attitude and it was crystal clear that no one cared that I needed help. I was finally getting transferred to a supervisor, but the transfer took me all the way back to the main line to start all over again. Then they accused me of hanging up, which I definitely did NOT hangup, and said that that's why it took me to the main line, because I hung-up. What a joke, right? They go to transfer me to a supervisor again and I got no one. I just waited and waited and nothing.. I eventually just hung up after an hour of going in circles. I am LIVID with BSI and they should be put out of business for this. Just by reading hundreds of other people's reviews about BSI's awful customer service, fraudulent activity and how most clients were forced to use this service provider, that should be more than enough for them to be put out of business. With that being said, I still don't have the document I need to complete my refinance. Attorneys will be contacted at this point.

This company is a third-party credit card issuer for several other companies, ranging from…read moreretailers to banks and even credit unions, which is how I got to know them. Had I known that Elan Financial Service was part of US Bank, I would have never applied for a credit card with the local Nevada credit union I had a good relationship with. Even though setting up my login information was easy when I got the card a week ago, I found problems with logging in to my account this morning after getting email telling me that my monthly statement was ready. I tried logging in with my credentials and was told that I could not. Then the web interface wanted to send me out challenge questions. When I set up the account, I was given the option of selecting at least 3 challenge questions, but the web interface was sending me challenge questions that I did not sign up for, thereby guaranteeing certain failure. It got to the point that I had to call customer service, which was the number on the credit card, not my local credit union's customer service. On the plus side, it was nice that I got a person that sounded like they were either in or from North America and had almost the same accent I have, but when I told the representative my issue, they forwarded me to their technical support desk, who hung up on me after 25 minutes of being on hold. At this point, I was so fed up with the process that I scissored the credit card and mailed it to the credit union whose name is on the card and explained to them my reasons for returning the card and closing the account. When supporting customers over the internet, make the web interface a lot more user-friendly. Even though the web interface may ask for a username and password, the reality is that the web interface wants the company-generated username instead of the one the user created just to access this account. On top of that, the web interface, when it requires answers to security questions, please make sure that these are the questions that the user actually selected, not the ones that the user did not...I never selected the question "who is my favorite hair stylist?" and because I did not select that question, any answer I put down will always be wrong. Hopefully, severing relations with Elan Financial Solutions does not impact my relationship with my credit union. As for US Bank, I've had bad relations with them ever since the FDIC gave Pasadena Financial and Downey Savings over to US Bank and both Bailiwick and TEKSystems had me work on a Bay Area IT conversion project in 2009 and since then, I vowed never to work with US Bank or any of its subsidiary companies, or even set foot in a US Bank institution or facility for the rest of my life.

Outrageous and Disrespectful Treatment -- Avoid This Credit Union…read more I am absolutely furious with the way Corporate America Credit Union handled my recent wire transfer. I tried to send money to a personal friend in Gaza -- a completely private individual, not affiliated with any group or organization. The credit union blocked and returned the transfer, giving me only a vague excuse about "internal policies" they "couldn't disclose." That's unacceptable. Gaza is not under blanket sanctions, and I was able to send the same transfer through another institution with no issue at all. This wasn't about compliance -- it was about a lack of transparency, accountability, and basic human decency. I've never dealt with a financial institution so dismissive of its customers. If this is how they treat honest people trying to help someone in need, then they don't deserve your business. Do not bank here -- take your money somewhere that values integrity and transparency.

This has been my credit union since I was a kid so I have nothing to compare it to. I use them for…read morechecking and savings. I had my debit card stolen once, and then recently just my card number was stolen. Both instances it takes days for the charges to come through for me to be able to dispute them, and then days to get a new card. I hear from people at the big banks around town that they get fraudulent charges taken care of within 24 hours, and a new card Fed Ex'ed the next day. If that's the case I feel like a sucker for being with a credit union. But in the end it has always been worked out so who knows... just a hassle when this is my only means of $. Costumer service has always been great, though!
