Zero stars! Went to cash a small 60$ out of state check On Van Buren Street in Phoenix. My license is from that same state as the check and as soon as I get there the cashier asks me with a judgmental attitude where I got the check from? Clearly, the check said it was from a consignment shop, so I explained to her and don't know why I needed to, but proceeded to explain to her that I sold my furniture through a consignment shop and the check was my pay from those sold items. She truly got two other people involved in what should have been a simple transaction. She made a copy of the paystub and they acted like I was trying to pull a con over a 60$ check. I'm pretty sure if I was gifted enough to print fake checks, it would be for more than $60 and from the same state. Im sure the cashier and manager were attempting to prove any way they could to themselves how they had caught a scammer or con person, yet instead they earned themselves and the company this review. The parking is also terrible and small they offer services. Will never go there again. read more

Today is Saturday, January 17th, 2026. I went to PLS at 43rd and Bethany this afternoon to cash a $50 check and was told to take it to a bank. The check is an ALLY BANK check (I had never heard of it, so I looked it up). I can't cash it at my bank because I'm overdrawn $200. I've used PLS services many times over 10 years and never had any problems. The cashier asked me when I was there last, and I asked don't you have all my transactions on your screen. She didn't answer and became secretive when I asked what the problem was. I don't know what to think. If I've been blacklisted tell me that. Aren't they capable of finding out if there are sufficient funds in the account? So, don't be surprised if the same thing happens to you. There's more: I took the same check to them on Thursday after my bank (Wells Fargo) turned me down and was asked where I had tried to cash it (there were marks on the back), and asked me what I had done to receive this $50 check. I worked for it. They were skeptical. I had them write another check because I thought it was because of the marks on the back. I found out the hard way it wasn't. But I couldn't get them to tell me why. I didn't push it because I was dismissed and ignored. By the way, I'm White and everyone else in there Mexican, if that was a factor. read more

Horrible customer service. I went in to change a title over to my llc dealer company. The lady at widow number one, skinny, glasses, would not give me her name had an attitude with me as soon as I walked up to her window. She must of had a bad personal call. She was on her cell phone talking while three of us were waiting in line for her to finish her personal call. She then asked me about emissions. I tried to tell her I was just changing a salvage title over, i did not need emmissions. She then said she didnt care what I thought. I took my title back and went to the 27th and camelback location, which ill say they were very welcoming. Never did they ask me about emissions, and I was able to conduct business there without any problems. Do not go to PLS on 43rd and Bethany home. They dont want to help you with your transaction or your money. read more

This company will charge you $27 for replacement ID but they will not follow through with it and when asked about it they tell you that you have to go to the DMV and ask them about it it's not their job. Their job is to take your money and submit it to DMV they will not give you a refund. They will not help you in anyway the manager was a total B! I bought a new car and needed to get the title in my name, however it was almost time for the dmv area of PLS to close. I recently lost my uncle and my husband was taking me out to dinner to take my mind off of it, he was looking and found the perfect vehicle! We left dinner and went to look at the car. Like I said it was late and we went to PLS to get money to pay the lady. Jazmin let us know if we could get back before 8 (I think) that she would be able to get it done! We rushed and sped, and I ran in at I think 7:59 and she started the paper work. We thanked her, because not only was she super helpful, but she damn fast at her job!
