I originally reached out to them when I purchased a new brick and mortar business. Having owned a mobile business for many years, I knew having the brick and mortar would be totally different. So I wanted to find a CPA that also acted as a business consultant. Dave spent about an hour with us in our first meeting and was helpful when we had questions for the first few months. After the honeymoon period, things did not go as well. When I first reached out I had a tax return I needed done. I was told several times over the course of about 3 months that it was almost done. I kept explaining how important it was that I get it done asap because I needed it for my son's new school we were trying to get him into and the deadline was approaching quickly. Unfortunately I missed the deadline due to the slow pace of The Revenue Place. The staff member Gergo they had as my contact would ignore my texts and calls. So my son did not get into the school he wanted to go to and he was devastated. I spoke with Dave, he apologized for the issues and offered me a small credit. During this time of waiting for my tax return, I realized I had made a mistake with sales taxes and asked Dave and Gergo both about it. I was told by Gergo that the problem was being worked on by Dave. So I never thought about it again. Now fast forward a few months later and I get a letter telling me that I have a tax warrant out on my business for outstanding sales taxes. I send the letter to Dave and he tells me that he will call his contact first thing in the morning to work it out and to call him back the next day. I have called his cell, Dee's cell, the office cell and texted with his office. Other than a text from the office staff telling me I would have an answer by the end of today, I have been completely ignored. Now I'm stuck in a bad position that I feel I shouldn't be and I cannot get anyone to speak with me about what is going on. I will have to find someone else to help me on Monday now that I have been abandoned by The Revenue Place.
