My stepdad is a VIP member at the Hard Rock which comes with some cool perks like the Plum VIP Lounge. On a recent trip he took us to Plum VIP Lounge for a meal. I had been here before with him and this spot always has very delicious food. We were a group of three and were seated pretty quickly. There is a buffet style bar with apps to grab food from before your orders come. I ordered the white sangria, caesar salad, and filet steak. My salad hit the spot, it was absolutely delicious. I usually don't care for croutons, but enjoyed the ones in this salad. I pretty much finished every last bite of this dish. As for my steak, it was divine. I kept eating it past "full" which just tells you how much I loved it. My stepdad ordered the same thing (like father, like daughter) and loved it too. My fiancé got the NY Steak sandwich and loved it. His fries were so good. I really like when they have the extra starch on them to give it an extra crunch. My fiancé also ordered a drink. Just know the drinks here are GENEROUS. I could barely finish my sangria and my fiancé said his drink was really strong. I highly recommend grabbing a meal here. read more

I'm not exactly sure what all the complaints are about... It's free food. Sure, you have to be a VIP/spender at the casino to eat here... But, it's delicious food and it's free. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. It had a good flavor. The vegetables were more of an artistic choice as I only got three carrots... I would've liked more. The Caesar salad was probably a letdown of the evening as it was chopped and just hard to eat. Needed more dressing too. My wife got the whole fish which was snapper. She enjoyed it. She also got the lobster bisque, which she really enjoyed. We both got a cocktail and someone else at the table ordered the shrimp appetizer. Is it the best steak/food I've ever had?... Probably not. Is it better than Outback Steakhouse?... Yes, it is. So, if you gamble enough and have a VIP card... This little restaurant is perfect for you. Service was good. Not great. I was kind of expecting a bit more for a VIP lounge. My server never refilled my Diet Coke unless I asked. But, all other pleasantries performed at a restaurant were handled well. And of course... The presentation of each dish is always 'dressed up' nice on the plate too. Severs are extremely friendly and when Abel the general mngr is present- everything runs smoothly . The bar offers fine wines, creative drinks, martinis , coffee variations or simply even a Perrier with lemon. Desert is generally a choice of 2 cakes or even an ice cream pop if desired. Genuinely some of my favorite meals are here. Outstanding food with a revolving menu or fresh seafood, meats, veggies, desserts, and other decadent food. It is such a vibe in here, makes you feel like a mob boss with your own personal chef. ALL YOU CAN EAT EVERYTHING IS MADE FRESH TO ORDER. Alright now that I have your attention this place is a gem of a dining experience in the hard rock casino and easily my favorite part about it. The ingredients are very high quality and the chefs know what they are doing. The kale salad with crunchy pecorino was very good with a slight hint of dressing but not enough to make it seem drenched. The flounder is cooked perfectly , super flaky and simple . The crab cakes are great as well , they also come with a peanut sauce that brings the flavors together well. The desserts are always great , this time I got lemon blueberry cake and the chocolate cake. Both cakes are very moist but if I had to pick I'd lean towards the lemon blueberry since the lemon and blueberries gives a tart and sweet profile that never gets old. I was an invitee at the Plum VIP Lounge Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa Florida last week and I do not consider this lounge as a High End Elite lounge . It is overrated. The food is okay and the service was excellent. Everything was free. I do not think I will go again. read more

So, you gotta be a huge fan of visiting the casino & spending (and winning? losing?) your money with your card. This is how my adorable other half earned our way into the Plum VIP Lounge. We showed up on a Sunday evening...the waitress offered about 5 different entrees (filet, red snapper, chicken diablo, etc) and told us as far as beverages are concerned, just ask! So we did. We each had an entree (filet, me- chicken, him) and although they were nothing really awesome, pretty decent considering they were feeding us for the low low price of FREE. That included 2 wines, a beer, and several swanky glass bottles of Evian. Did I mention this was for the low low price of free? The ambiance was awesome, very lounge like & the bar was cool with TV's and nice seating. Our waitress was Marlena and she was very nice and helpful. See ya soon, Plum! read more

I wanted to come here for such a long time. It's dimly lit and just a low sound of conversations. Not crowded or cuttered at all. We found a small cozy table in the back in plush chairs and candlelight. Our server came over immediately and let us know how it all works. Salads, appetizers and finger foods are buffet style and on two large areas, one right in the center and the other off to the side. There are also sweets/ desserts shared on the salad table. There is a full bar to your right as you walk in. There is a menu of entrees and crafted drinks at the table. There are all sorts of tables. Your normal sit down, dining table in all sizes from 2 to 8 people. High top tables as well as lounge seats and low tables. Probably 20 or less tables. No prices on anything. Eat or drink anything you want... it's all taken care of. We had a plate of the buffet style offerings. I enjoyed a caesar salad, assorted olives, shrimp cocktail and crab salad. My server brought over a drink made exactly as I asked. We sat and talked and took our time before deciding on an entree. We both had the Seared Grouper- Fregola, spinach, pine nuts, golden raisins, feta and lemon vinaigrette. Amazingly perfect sear on the thick piece of Grouper. Very clean. The Feta/ Lemon Vinaigrette is lightly added to the top of the fish. I really loved this entree. We shared a crabcake as well. I didn't care for the roasted red pepper coulis (I don't bell peppers) because it's sweet. I did like the basil aioli though. Plenty jumbo lump crab and very little binding ingredients. I enjoyed this very much. We sat a little longer and I picked up a few desserts to share. A lemon poppy seed macaron, vanilla mousse and a chocolate cake pop. Yummy. Very beautiful setting, comfortable chairs with pillows on them. Service is great. We immediately got greeted by our server and explained how the buffet and menu card work. I ordered a cranberry vodka and a shrimp scampi. I think this is the best scampi I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back. read more
