The bad: they shipped us the wrong cabinet doors. This was frustrating, but we talked to Brandon (who had put the order through correctly) and we agreed that we would put up the cabinets and wait the 3-4 weeks for the correct doors. This was done, but when we went to put up the new doors the hinges were not in a uniform placement meaning several new screw holes needed to be drilled. Also, now that the summer is here and the wood has swelled slightly not all of the doors close flush (even after adjustments). Overall I'd still recommend Mozzone, but definitely thoroughly check the shipment before you accept it.

Patty Silvester is awesome. She has been impressively responsive throughout our shopping experiences. Sent a customer to pick out pavers... he walked out with an almost brand new outdoor kitchen!!! (Although, his wife's eyes looked like they could shoot lasers ha!) that is... until he told her he got EVERYTHING, the grill, mini fridge, cabinetry etc all for $4k!!! (When retail, was about $11k!!) The pavers were great too. And BYL even delivered them down the narrow south end alleyway between abutting brownstones which was rediculously stressful. I thought my jaw was going to fall off. We couldn't even get pick up trucks down there! They brought a forklift on the back of the delivery truck, zipped right down and dropped the pallet EXACTLY where we needed it!!!! Needless to say, very pleased with our experience. Now, had the 2 previous reviewers had more patience, maybe they wouldn't have spent $20-30k on materials but half that AND SCORED SOME! Oh well, their loss - Our gain! We have since gone on to work with BYL for 4 projects. We have gotten to know the team very well. They are responsive to email, pay attention to detail to make sure that nothing is overlooked and when it comes to renovations-- man, even the smallest detail overlooked can have consequences of EPIC proportions. I am an amateur when it comes to carpentry and home renovation, but I have a generalized knowledge of woodworking tools and various basic materials. My goal was to revamp an old porch. I walked nervously in their door, with a picture of the old porch on my iPhone and a few rough measurements scribbled on a piece of paper. Immediately, Kathy and Kate put me at ease, and walked me through my design plans. Along the way, Kate thoughtfully listened to my needs, and carefully recommended different ways I could improve my design, without criticism or judgement. All her ideas proved to be excellent, and I'm so grateful for her advice. Over the course of the next two weeks, I would return many times for extra lumber as my plans evolved. Every time, I was warmly greeted, and immediately and thoughtfully accommodated. I am very grateful to the gentlemen in the back who helped fit many an odd long board in my dad's Camry, and to the one kind employee who, on an especially hot day, offered me a popsicle while I was waiting for something to be cut. Overall, my experience was over and above excellent, and with their help, I managed to build the new porch by myself in only 2 weeks!
