Kid's build review:…read more Easy registration (you should definitely pre-register. They only have select numbers of kids kits.) They had a piece of turf laid out as an area for the build. I can share with you it filled up withing 12 minutes! Unfortunately no aprons and this was our first time. They supplied hammers. Our kit was easy to figure out. Great directions. The difference between Lowe's build and Home Depot: - Home Depot uses paint, Lowe's uses stickers - Home Depot supplies a table, Lowe's supplies ground space - Home Depot staggers out how many kids at a time, Lowe's does not - We had a friend who was supposed to attend and was sick, they gave us the kit for them. I got the vibe at Home Depot this isn't a thing. I can say, I do prefer a table but I appreciate that Lowe's does this for free! Thanks Lowe's!

I'm am extremely disappointed with both Lowe's and the third-party delivery company, Chris…read moreTransportations out of Roanoke. Immediately after the incident, I reported the damage, provided photographs, the date it occurred, and a detailed explanation of what happened. One important detail I did not initially include was that the delivery crew used a refrigerator dolly to move my stove into my home, even though one was not necessary. My stove sits between two countertops, and during delivery, my flooring was damaged. The company denied my claim, stating that the damage appeared to be "fresh." Frankly, that explanation is both unreasonable and insulting. The tear is located in the middle of the floor where the stove sits. If I had somehow damaged the floor myself while moving the stove, the damage would logically be along the sides where the appliance would make contact--not directly in the middle. Instead of taking responsibility, the delivery company essentially accused me of causing the damage myself to obtain payment. That is unacceptable and not how customers should be treated. Lowe's, you should carefully vet the third-party companies you hire to deliver merchandise into customers' homes. Your customers trust that the people representing your brand will handle their property with care and stand behind their work if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. This entire situation has left me very disappointed in both the delivery company and Lowe's. Based on how this claim was handled, I will seriously consider shopping elsewhere in the future. Customer service doesn't end when the purchase is made--it includes taking responsibility when damage occurs.

I want to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to Omar and Martin. Omar noticed I was struggling to load my cart with bagged mulch (I am a petite woman with a bad back - had back surgery a few years ago) He quickly came over to me to let me know he could make it much easier to get what I needed. He told me to check out for the mulch, drive out to the back and he would load it into my vehicle. I was so relieved! I did just that and Omar and Martin were there to load the mulch into my car - super friendly and helpful! I tried giving them a cash tip but they refused it. So I want to "tip them" by praising them through this review - they really made me feel like a valued customer - and saved my back - and I am extremely grateful!

I was left waiting outside with my bed open for 30 minutes...nobody came to help me. I went inside twice asking where the person was to help me and the cashier said "I just sent someone out to help you"-they didn't. Finally, for the third time of me going inside and asking for someone to help me the cashier came and helped me. We were two women trying to move stacks of picnic tables to get to the only nice one. Once we finally got to the nicest one we couldn't figure out a way to get it out. A guy finally came out to help and he was out there for maybe 5 minutes. I was left to secure it MYSELF because according to the workers they "couldn't help me secure it". Im 5'2 HOW am I supposed to do that??? I am anything but pleased from this experience and I will not be returning.

During that time, we faced ignored calls, poor workmanship, and no accountability. After months of frustration, Lowe's offered just $1,100--but only if we signed a nondisclosure and release that voided all warranties. --- Main Complaint (Condensed Review): We hired Lowe's Home Improvement for a simple 8-cabinet pull-and-replace kitchen project costing about $15,000. We were required to pay in full upfront in February, but the job was not completed until the end of October--over eight months later. During that time, we faced poor workmanship, repeated delays, missing materials, and unreturned calls. Lowe's stores and customer service appear to use caller ID; our calls, especially to the store, went unanswered. After more than a week of trying to reach the cabinet department, my husband went to the store, called from an aisle with a clear view, and watched employees look at the ringing phone and ignore it. When he asked for a manager, he was told the manager would be in his office all day and not speaking to anyone. After all this, Lowe's offered only $1,100 in compensation--but required us to sign a detailed nondisclosure and release of liability that would also void all warranties on our kitchen products. This was essentially an attempt to buy our silence about an entirely disastrous project. We find this unreasonable. No customer should have to waive warranties or the right to speak about their experience just to receive partial compensation for a project paid in full and delayed eight months.
