I contacted Drainiacs and several other plumbing companies to install a new water heater and to…read more reroute a low hanging gas supply line for the water heater. I purchased a new tank, and I chose Drainiacs to tackle this job. Drainiacs beat other bids and beat most other plumbing companies' bids by a longshot! The owner, Charles, and his crew members, both Cass and Andrew, did an outstanding job with the installation and rerouting of the low hanging gas line that ran from the furnace to the hot water tank. What other company ran the gas supply line from the furnace to the hot water tank prior to 2004 when I purchased this home didn't have the consumer in mind as the gas line was about 4' off the ground and when trying to store items in the utility room I would have to do the limbo to get under gas pipe to store items and utilize storage space. Charles ran the pipe up into or under the joists to allow me to use the extra space to store items without having to bend down and duck under gas pipe. Drainiacs employee Cass assisted and installed gas pipes, sealed, tested for gas leaks with leak tech (soapy water), which worked well on all but one connecting section of pipe in which the owner Charles verified no gas leaks with a portable gas detector and discovered one in joists which wouldn't have been found with leak tech or soapy water. Employee Andrew came in and repaired gas leak with pipe gue and new fitting. After the hot water heater installation was completed, we turned on the water supply and had zero leaks. Also, after water was turned on, you could hear a chugging when you flushed a toilet or ran the showers or dishwasher. It sounded like maybe air in the water supply system, so we ran/bled all cold water lines for 10-15 minutes, and that didn't fix the chugging in the pipes. Charles went out to the water meter and reduced the amount of pressure coming from meter to house (our neighborhood has high water pressure) and also adjusted the pressure regulator inside the house, which also didn't fix the problem. Employee Andrew came by the next day and troubleshot the issue, lowered water pressure on both the regulator and ball valve, and fixed the problem. This company and crew members are thoughtful and thorough, analytical, and fair priced. I highly recommend Drainiacs Plumbing if you are looking for a fair, trustworthy, reliable company to rely on getting the job done right at a reasonable cost.

I got fed up with them because I work 8-6 to get service to me it's going to be after hours. Anyways I called drainiacs and talked to Charles he told me that it was dark and late the night I called and he needed light to see since he had to go under the house I was like yeah you're right so the next day at 10am he was here. He was very clear on telling me what he had to do and any thing that he needed that I could help with. He had me up and running in about an hour and a half which was fast to me. My house is 70 years old and that was what we were facing 70 years of buildup. He cut the steel line and we put pvc in. Charles by far is the best in Wichita. We had a sewer blockage over the 2026 Easter weekend. The guys came out to get us up and running…read more Sadly, we had an old clay sewer line and a huge maple tree. The 2 don't mix. The roots had invaded the sewer line, cracked many of the pieces and collapsed others. The guys rearranged the schedule a bit to get an excavator out, dug a new newer line trench to at least give us service over the long holiday weekend. They then came back out the following Monday to finish the job and connect to the city main sewer line. They even flexed the sewer line a bit so the tree didn't have to be removed. Sadly though, they forgot about us (and our neighbor behind) and left a 40 to 50 foot mound, over a foot high in the back yard. It took several phone calls and a bad review from my neighbor to get them back out, but they did finally come quickly. Now that the mound has had time to settle, we wait for them to do a final level, plant some seed, and cut the clean out pipe to ground level. I've appreciated Jeremy and the crew of guys helping us out in a bind that Easter weekend. I would be happy to use them again, but they could use a better system for follow up and job completion. Last year I did a complete remodel of my home and they took care of me. I moved the washer and dryer to a new location, re-plumbed the kitchen and the bathroom. My house is particularly challenging as it has a concrete slab foundation. After we took out the tub for a walk in shower we also had to put a new spigot out in the garage as the plumbing had previously been located under the tub. As with anyone, we have had a couple of glitches and mistakes, but Creekmore always works with me to make it right. Their customer service is excellent and their pricing is decent. One time I tried a different plumber due to timing when Creekmore was fully booked. They were a major hassle and they tried to charge me $650 to clean out the drain on my bathroom sink and tub. They said that their tool might get broken so I had to pay for that. It took them four hours to do something Creekmore had done in less than one before. I had a friend open the house for them. They even had me take off from work to go get a faucet in case they broke mine. Their cost was highway robbery. Then they didn't need it and I had to return it! I negotiated them down to $425, but still felt overcharged. I won't state their name but they are known as the Punctual Plumbers. I have never had any other company charge replacement cost of a tool that "might", but didn't get broken. Tools are a cost of doing business to everyone else. Creekmore would have charged one hour as they did before for the same sink and tub, which was less than a quarter of what I paid the other guys. They work great with my tenants. I give them their phone number to schedule work with. My tenants think they're awesome. We even have a busted pipe when a tenant used a hose in below freezing conditions. I braced for a huge bill. It was only $147! They only charged what needed fixed. Creekmore is awesome. No wonder they have been in business since 1948. We trust them in our homes whether we're there or not. Never had a reason not to. Great company!

The indoor work went fine. The outdoor sump pump installation was done while my husband and I were out of town, and we paid in full before returning home. When we got back, we discovered the sump pump had likely been running continuously for up to eight days. A connector had come loose, and water was being cycled back into the pit nonstop. The plumber came back out, admitted he should have replaced the connector originally, and fixed it along with two others. Then, just one day later, it rained and the pump failed completely. It wasn't kicking on, and water was pooling in the pit. They responded quickly again, which I appreciated, and the same plumber removed a return valve that had gotten stuck. Later, I was told that return valve never should have been installed in the first place. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in the quality of work. I spoke with someone from their office who was kind said she would investigate. But when I asked if anything would be done to make it right, such as an apology from management or a partial refund, I was told the matter was closed. The quick response time was the only positive. But multiple preventable mistakes were made, and each was only acknowledged after something went wrong. I trusted this company enough to pay in full before seeing the work, and I regret that.
