Yes, for sure for those that do not know, we definitely have a viable division across the U.S. and abroad. I have been happily represented by this top notch agency for over 10 years now, and love working with the entire team. Julia and Stacie, my bookers, and others on the team are the utmost professional, caring and have an eye for detail. They know the industry inside and out. They help new models set up their images and profile with what works for them and yourself. They have the best of clients and choose well what works for their talent. They treat their talent with the utmost of respect, and are always helpful and responsive if you have questions about your assignment or contracts. They make sure you are respected always by the clients in any situation on the set, whether locally or long-distance assignments. The team will give you a chance to review contracts before accepting, and request the clients pay as soon as possible. I appreciate that Julia and Stacie and the rest of the team always do their best to help make me succeed. They are very selective to whom they represent, and I am very grateful and proud to be part of their team.

I started my modeling career with Modelogic in 2013, and been with them ever since then. Also, I…read morehave been modeling on my own in NYC for a year (not through Modelogic as a mother agency), I learned the HARD way not all agencies, especially in NYC, are the same as Modelogic in the way they care, fight and guide for their models. Most agents get rude and simply don't care when they are asked about payments for the jobs done 6 months ago - never happens in Modelogic. They always urge their clients to pay as soon as the job is done and process the payments to models right away. This doesn't always happen in other agencies I swear. So I really appreciate this and do not take it for granted. In Modelogic, they never hand you an "exclusive" contract and want you to sign it in their presence. They let you take it with you and fully review it unlike some agencies in NYC. Most agencies I've come across were no more than merely a "booker" despite on the contract, they are labelled as a "model management". In Modelogic, the owner Stacie, and her super agent Julia are FAR more than just a "BOOKER". They have the eyes to know what works and don't, and guide their models into a way that will help them to succeed - they know what types of test shoots/portfolio you need at where you are whether starting out or experienced. They help you develop your book and set up test shoots at a very reasonable rate or even at no cost sometimes with a verified photographer meaning your time & efforts put into the photoshoot are worth every minute. This also makes Modelogic different than others who set up pretty much every new models to shoot with their photographer and charge an enormous amount. Stacie and Julia upholds their proud of whom they represent and are NOT afraid to slam those clients who try to take advantage of their models by working them overtime, trying to lower the rate to an unacceptable point, paying late, and etc even if the deal has to fall through. They do not suck up to this type of clients unlike other agencies who book their models for free or at a nominal rate because they are just too afraid to lose the clients and this cycle goes on and on and on. I personally believe that Modelogic is able to do that because they are very selective on whom they represent. They retain the quality of their models. They don't takes everyone who simply want to model. So they are able to keep the value of the models and the agency itself and demand for what they deserve. If you are a local in the DMV or even in NC/PA and are looking into modeling, I highly suggest you reach out to Modelogic. If they deem you are a good fit, they will help you develop and even place you in other major cities like NYC, LA, London, Milan, and so on. They have placed their girls with the world-class model agencies like IMG, Wilhelmina, M+P, Industry and etc. I am super lucky that I have them as my agent/manager and call them my family!

I had trouble just getting anyone on the phone to begin with, and as for actually returning my calls or even looking at my resume, forget it. Staffing companies are only as good as their staff people, and maybe I just got the lemon here. But, I did get the impression that unless you were interested in a big job with Capital One, Richmond's top employer, that you weren't going to be at the top of anyone's priority list.

She did not put me forward for anything but contacted me multiple times, seemingly just to bully me. Her tone and cynical questions made it clear from the outset that she had judged me unfit, so why put us both through it? She questioned whether I was really as experienced as I am, then suggested I might actually look for jobs at a lower level than my current job title. She even questioned whether I could update my own website as if I was lying about the technical skill to do so. ("Are you sure you're looking for [x] role, and not a [x] role?" and "Are you *sure* you're *able* to update your site?") The last role she contacted me for was entry-level, despite my having over a decade of experience, so I stopped responding. Anyone who's job-seeking knows how hopeless and vulnerable it can make you feel, well she made it 100x worse. Unlike a faceless rejection from HR, I couldn't shrug it off as "not personal," because her belittling was very personal. I was so despondent following those interactions with Chelsea, that I didn't apply for another job for 6 months. It took getting an interview at IDEO, one of the best companies in the world for creative, to get my confidence back. I had heard it from other people, but after that I finally realized--she's not a creative and she herself doesn't have enough experience in the industry to know what she's talking about. And anyone who's that bad with people should probably go into another field anyway. Rest assured--it's not you, it's her!

Then your "friendly" recruiter tells you they have feedback and claims that they said you were sitting there swearing like a sailor. Gee, would most people give someone like that a plant tour and have an interview with them for over an hour if they were a piece of human garbage? Then if you dare speak in your defense, you will be attacked and yelled at. Oh, but remember you are the unprofessional one right? It is one thing to pass up a candidate for someone else with better credentials, but another thing to smear someone's character.
