Unfortunately, I walked into this store expecting to browse and learn a little about its history and walked out wondering whether I had accidentally interrupted a private gathering. Apparently, simply being a customer was enough to be an inconvenience. The gentleman who is apparently the owner made it abundantly clear from the beginning that our presence was not particularly welcome. His attitude was cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. I have encountered unfriendly employees before, but it takes a special level of indifference for the OWNER of a business to make customers feel like they are personally inconveniencing him by walking through the front door. The customer service was, to put it generously, nonexistent. There was no sense of hospitality, no genuine attempt to engage with us, and certainly no indication that we were people who might potentially spend money in the store. Instead, the entire interaction carried the energy of someone being deeply offended that we had interrupted his day by having the audacity to be interested in his business. Perhaps the expectation is that customers should apologize for coming inside. The owner's tone was dry, condescending, and dripping with an attitude that made it feel as though he was doing us a tremendous favor by acknowledging that we were there. I've visited countless small businesses, and I genuinely cannot remember another occasion where a business owner managed to make me feel so unwelcome so quickly. And unfortunately, the treatment of my partner was even worse. His tone toward them was particularly cold and disrespectful, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Watching someone who owns a customer-facing business speak to a patron that way was honestly baffling. I'm still trying to understand what exactly we did to warrant that level of hostility beyond, apparently, existing inside the store. I've also seen the suggestion in a previous review that this behavior is somehow connected to religious reasons. I respect everyone's right to their beliefs, practices, and boundaries. But if your response to customers is consistently rude, dismissive, or demeaning, "religious reasons" does not magically transform poor customer service into good customer service. Owning a business means interacting with the public. Nobody is asking a store owner to become their best friend or throw them a parade when they walk through the door. A basic greeting, courtesy, and the ability to speak to customers without making them feel like an unwanted interruption would probably suffice. Instead, I left with the distinct impression that the store would be much happier if customers simply stopped showing up. Mission accomplished, at least with me. I'm leaving this review because I genuinely hate seeing small businesses operate this way. I want to support local businesses, and I went in with every intention of having a positive experience. Instead, I was made to feel belittled and unwelcome for absolutely no apparent reason. There are plenty of businesses where customers are treated with basic dignity and appreciation. I have no reason to choose this one. If being open to the public is an inconvenience, perhaps the public should be given advance notice. As for me, I won't be returning. Once was more than enough.

I noticed so many changes, from my skin tone to decreased wrinkles (even the deeper ones) I now have a subtle glow to my skin as well. In addition, if I went in with a headache, I came out without one! Remee always asked if anything was bothering me and with her needle placement, I always came out feeling better! The needles are painless to slightly uncomfortable for just a few seconds. Going into her office is an awesome experience in itself. She has a vast selection of beautiful crystals, personally handcrafted teas, and Chinese herbs for sale. The atmosphere itself is inviting and warm. I honestly could just go and sit in the office and it would be therapeutic! Words just can't quite capture it. Along the course of my treatments, I became increasingly interested in some of the other services that she offers. I had an energy session, which included Reiki and crystals to name two. I loved the feeling that it gave me, one of peace, comfort and just a general good feeling. Remee is a Master Teacher Reiki practitioner and does a wonderful job. She offers Reiki and other classes and I am now at the Reiki 2 level, with the intent to going on to the Master level. I have come to love and trust Remee so much that I wouldn't go anywhere else for anything that she offers. Remee is a Master in the art of Chinese Face reading. My daughter and I had a 2 hr session with her that gave us both a better understanding of one another, along with some of the other people in our lives. It's amazing what she can tell from one's face. She can give insight on others with a good picture. She was spot on with her analysis of several photos that we provided. This too was an incredible experience. I highly recommend Energy Medicine Center to anyone who is seeking an acupuncturist, reiki therapist, help with chronic pain or even if you just feel lost, Remee can help.

As I said, they have sun sheltered parking off to the left of the main parking, a great option when it's 99 degrees outside, and a decent rain shelter too, though it would be a bit imperfect. The store is typical Whole Foods though a tad smaller than the location I'm used to, it still has great options for vegetables especially organic, and other healthy items like kombuchas and limited ingredient prepared foods and some great meat and cheese options. I asked for directions to find an item on the shopping list and had a friendly response, and our checkout person was friendly and helpful too. The market was busy and but not overcrowded and there is a lot of space around the perimeter (they say shop the perimeter for the best foods and WF seems to have given thought to giving you more room for that and a tad less for the aisles, a decent approach for my tastes. They were having an issue with their freezers on this day but had the wherewithal to direct customers to the location the frozen items had been moved to, a very customer-friendly move. The AC kept things nice and cool inside on a very hot day. And the meat department was even more chilled. From my Mother, While WF can be a bit more expensive, they offer Prime Deals often and carry a 365 prime brand that is dependably low priced and high quality. Watch for a once a year ice cream discount too!

Do not tell me in this day and age that is not possible. That is a choice. That's a choice Amazon and Whole Foods is making to make the lives of their customers harder. I have a prime account. I check out my own items. I use the card you promote and have a digital receipt. Yall can laugh and hang up on me and say that isn't the way you do things. That's fine but I'll just got to Kroger then. Because of the way they do things. When there's choices treating people fairly instead of giving them the run around matters. Especially when your products are expensive. Maybe Whole Foods and Amazon will change their policies if enough of us say enough is enough. Probably not but it's worth adding five minutes to a 45 minutes saga of unsuccessfully getting a refund for moldy bread. As if there aren't enough reasons to cancel prime.
