Why am I a fan of this place? Well, I'm basing my review on a single experience so while it might be biased I think it's worth mentioning! All it is is that I happened to injure my foot, had a horrendous day at the A&E and after being pushed around in a wheelchair for hours I got my foot casted and was discharged. But then what? No crutches? Well apparently not...! So I limped on one foot out of the building, into a taxi and asked the driver to drop me off at the closest medical shop by the place I used to live. Got off at one end of the street (with several medical shops) and limped my way into two other places (which either didn't have any crutches in stock or had really uncomfortable ones) before this one (!) which had just what I was looking for! .....even in a range of different colours! The lady did not speak english very well but was good at communicating nonetheless and I got my beautiful teal crutches at a rate of 25 zl each (yeah, they're sold separately, who'd have known?) Can't really say I'm up-to-date with the price of this kind of equipment so to me it sounded like a good deal!!? Anyways, I noticed they have stethoscopes, scrubs, footwear and other items as well so I think there is a chance that I will go back here to get any other medical gear I will need in the future! read more
