Wasted time trying to set up an appointment for my puppy because Plush Pups will not groom certain breeds. My puppy is a samoyed. Which isn't noted anywhere on their website. It's unnerving to use a company that prides itself on having its entire staff "professionally trained and certified" refuse certain breeds because they're more difficult. Understandably, all breeds have their own challenges, which can call for an additional fee, or only specifically trained staff to handle. Finally!!!! A dog groomer I'm happy with! After terrible experiences at petsmart and petco I decided to look further and came across these guys thanks to yelp. I'm so glad I did! The owner Sevy and his wife are great people. When I came in to make our appointment he gave me a tour of the salon while his wife played with my dog. What's awesome about this place is that it is completely crate free! It's almost like a hair salon. Your dog gets assigned to his groomer and stays with them until you're back picking them up, no crate time for anything! My dogs haircut came out great. His groomer Wally talked to me about what I liked and didn't like and went over what he was planning to do. He also assured me that if I wasn't happy he would fix anything upon my return to get Brillo. But he looks ADORABLE!!! He did a great job! They were done in about an hour and a half and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a groomer who will treat your furry family member extremely well and do a great job look no further!!! There seems to be a consistent theme with the reviews of this Groomer. The dog groomers are good the owner is a major problem. We have taken our two standard poodles to Sevie since he opened his doors. Everything is fine as long as long as there are no Unfortunate mishaps, and everything goes his way because that's when Sevie shows his temper. We made sure we were always on time and paid cash. He would sometimes request we change our appointment time which we obliged. Sevie called us during the Covid pandemic, complaining that he couldn't get groomers to come in and work and he was losing money, He offered us a grooming session. We decided that we would drive an hour and a half to bring our dog to be groomed. On our way to Plush pups Sevie called and asked if we could be there earlier we told him we could not because we were still more than an hour away and he said well why didn't you leave earlier. I can't make this up. He actually got angry at us and was very rude when we arrived there. He made us feel very unwelcome. This was Not the first time he was crazy and unreasonable ! And he seems to make a lot of excuses for his Bad reviews... Steer clear from here! read more

This is the first time we have come here. We used to go to as the fur flies, in Horsham, and it's even closer for us. However the last few times we took her there we noticed she was showing signs of stress as soon as we went in the parking lot. The prices were reasonable and the staff especially the owner Sevy, we're very nice and accommodating. They did such a good job. I don't write reviews very often but after my encounter the other day, I had to. I have a pit mix rescue and we are still learning his quirks. He was very nervous to get his nails trimmed but desperately needed to. When we got there, he planted all four paws on the ground and wouldn't move and then hid under chairs. I started to get flustered because I was not expecting this. If you're a dog person, you know your dog picks up on your energy so I know I was not helping matters. I was ready to cry. The two women who helped me were ANGELS. One got on the floor with him and cut and trimmed his nails. The other gently coaxed him out of his hiding spot. By the end of the visit my dog, Alfie, was in love with these two women. They were so unbelievably kind to me and my Alfie, I couldn't believe it. Please support this business. This is the kind of service that you don't come across as often anymore. I wish I would have brought a larger tip with me. Since I didn't, I had to at the very least, write this review. We are very lucky to have found this groomer. After moving to the Philadelphia area and before finding a really caring groomer downtown, Shadow and I went through some not so great groomers. Don't know where to start! I sent a message through Yelp and got an instant reply within the hour so I called to make an appointment and got a same day appointment for three dogs. When I first walked in it was clean no Oder. the owner was very very nice and very accommodating. I was shown around where the grooming stations were. everything was neat clean I was introduced to all my dogs groomers as they were very sweet even helped me get the dogs out of the car. The groomer are extremely accommodating as to how you want your dog to look, how much you want cut, etc. I had no worries of leaving my babies with the groomers. This place was just wonderful! I went there for the first time yesterday and I am very impressed and happy with their work. I took my dog to Petsmart a few times prior, and Leia was very nervous in a crated environment with other dogs. The groomers at Petsmart were not able to do much with her because she would fight back too much. But Plush Pups was great with her! I really like that they only take one dog at a time, and that it is a crate-free facility. The owner and staff are very nice, caring, and professional. They are very reasonably priced and offer quick service too--it only took a little over an hour for my dog. When she came home, she was not anxious, unlike all the other times after Petsmart. What a wonderful establishment for grooming! This is a cute shop that also has grooming services. Their groomer only works on one dog at a time, and the schedule allows for dogs to have as little anxiety time with other dogs as possible. They consult you on what you want, and they listen! Plush Pups did an excellent job on my slightly overgrown Bichon and without judgement. By dog wasn't kept for hours so they didn't run out of dogs to groom, I believe she was under two hours round trip. She came home calm and happy. Genuinely nice business owners and staff. We have been bringing our standard poodle here for grooming ever since he was a little pup and very happy clients till date. Based on our past experience, a grooming operation can fall into one of two camps, in the former kind, the pooches are "batch processed" with a whole bunch of holding cages and a few overworked and underpaid groomers slogging non-stop. The ultimate objective in such a setup being to maximize turnover and deliver "value" to the customer at the same time. The latter kind is centered around a true love for dogs and does not factor in volume. There are limited slots per day and you drop off and pick up your furry babies by appointment. Plush Pups Grooming and Boutique clearly falls into this category. The groomers are skilled and do a meticulous job with clipping. They know breed standards and can either do one of the standard clips or customize it to your preference. The grooming area downstairs is very clean with a good setup. Our poodle seems extremely comfortable and feels "at home" when he's dropped off. A solid 5 stars. read more

Our regular groomer - Fransa, is patient and takes her time with our dog. He doesn't like the blow dryer so she patiently towel dries him and then uses an air dryer. They had not written my appointment in the book, but apparently the customer is not always right here. They asked for my appointment card, which of course I hadn't brought with, but after hundreds of dollars spent I had no credibility. Seve actually cursed at me, after which I left. When his wife called me afterward, it was not to apologize, but rather to tell me it was MY fault and I had a bad attitude. As the final blow, my dog's picture is still on the website as an example of their fine work. I thought we were like friends, but it turns out I had no value as a customer.
