Exam room. Love the ocean quote.
Stephanie G.

I've taken my toddler to PM Pediatrics 3 times so far and every experience has been no less than outstanding. The first time we went was for a cough and stuffy nose, which she had for about a week. This was her first time getting sick and her symptoms were not going away, so I wanted to figure out what was causing it. The Dr. reassured me some coughs can last over a week and she seemed okay otherwise (no signs of anything major). We came home and she got better after a few days. The second time we decided to take her was due to a limp on her leg. I was very worried this time, especially because she has a small lump on her right knee, which she's now seeing specialist for. The doctor said he wasn't very concerned since the lump is soft and she also didn't seem to feel pain to the touch. He said to wait a few more days and give her Motrin, just in case she injured herself while playing and recommended to follow up if she didn't get better within a few days to order some X-rays. Thankfully, that wasn't necessary because the limp went away 5 days later--which was the last day I was going to wait before taking her back! Lol The third time was a week ago when I thought she had COVID (she got it in 2023), but she kept getting worse as the days went by; she had persistent fevers and wasn't eating anything. She got tested for COVID, RSV, Influenza, and Strep throat, and tested positive for Influenza, which lasted much longer and hit her much harder than COVID! Thankfully she wasn't dehydrated and her breathing sounds were normal. What we love about this place is how fast they check us in and how friendly everyone is. The waiting area and patient rooms are clean. They play cartoons for the kids and give them stickers, which is a fun distraction from feeling scared/nervous to be examined. All staff and doctors' display a kind and calm demeanor, which is crucial when working at a pediatric urgent care.

Dr. Walker was awesome! He was super honest and made us feel comfortable about my son's treatment plan.

They see the walk-ins before their patients who actually made appointments. Makes no sense at all.

There was plenty of it, which is rare compared to other Labcorp locations where parking is usually paid and a hassle. The office is small and was pretty full when I arrived, but even with an appointment, I was called back within just a few minutes. Bernice was handling everything during my visit, and she was amazing. The waiting room had several patients asking questions and feeling impatient, but she stayed calm, organized, and efficient the entire time while keeping things moving. She mentioned it's usually a two-person team, but they were short on supplies that day, so she was holding things down on her own, which made it even more impressive. When it was my turn, she was professional and kind. I usually have very difficult veins and often get poked multiple times, but she got it on the first try. Overall, top-tier service. I would definitely recommend this location. Just be patient if it's busy - they're working hard and doing their best.

I arrived at the office without an appointment and there was no one waiting. The office is very small with just a few chairs, and a small tea/coffee station. I was taken in immediately. Very often, my veins are difficult to work with. During the draw, the phlebotomist was Jose. He was able to get the draw on the first try and I did not have type of bruising or issues afterward. I had to return a couple of days later for a test that must be done early in morning. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me and it was standing room only. There was only one person working and she was with a patient in the back, so it took some time to check in. After checking in, another employee arrived and those in the waiting room were helped. The phlebotomist that I had for the second test was Joanna, aka JoJo. She was very personable and was able to get the draw on the first try. I enjoyed speaking with her and she made the appointment comfortable. I had no issues with bruising after the test. The office is on the second floor of a medical building. The building has paid parking, but I always park on the street. There is metered parking and free street parking available within easy walking distance of the building.

Fortunately, the technicians were very kind and patient. My appointment was at 10:10 AM, and I only had to wait about 15 extra minutes, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. My biggest complaint is the parking. The building charges $2 every 15 minutes, with a maximum of $20 per day, which I think is excessive. I normally park on the street, but because I was short on time, I decided to park in the building. I was there for less than an hour and ended up paying $8. Unbelievable! It was a good reminder to leave earlier next time so I can avoid paying for parking. The highlight of my visit was the technician who drew my blood. Her name is Susan (she's asian), and she's a floater. My veins are very difficult to find, but she located one on the first try, and the blood draw was completely painless. I wish I could request an appointment with her every time I need lab work done. She was definitely the best part of my visit.

Got there, there were about 7 people in the waiting area. On the tv, there was a sidebar of transparency regarding the order of patients, appt times, and standby patients. I was done in less than 5 mins, and I had 5 vials! I found street parking off Killion, which was super easy.
