I actually really like this place. I've been coming for obo 4 years or so. I have found that the doctors and PAs are very friendly and helpful. The whole staff is really cool. I've gotten strep tests there, flu tests, and even a child's x-ray. The place is pretty clean and new looking. Yes there is a wait sometimes but u have to make an appointment online first. That's the secret (not so secret ). Other than that don't be the mom screaming at the receptionist because your kid coughed once. Chances are he's gonna be ok ! read more

My tot went to SI location with 104 fever, cough and vomit. Resident Dr tested for RSV & Flu and did give any relief like tamiflu or other antivirals. The visit was rushed and incomplete. My kid got worse and motrin wasnt cutting it! Thank God I followed up with his pediatrician and confirmed it was the flu, results came in 10min. Especially during this time, it is hard to find an appointment right when you need it. Luckily, although this place is called pediatrics urgent care, they are letting patients from the ages of 0 to 26 come in for covid testing. In order to schedule an appointment here, you would need to consistently check in the morning to see if there are any open spots available. They only allow you to book the day of or the next day if there is an available time slot. The first time we came here for the covid test was last week and even with an appointment, my brother waited an hour and a half until he was able to take his covid test. He took the PCR test and got his results the following day online. We also received a phone call a few hours later notifying us of his results. My appointment was on Christmas Eve at 9:15 pm and I got a call around 11 on that same morning that their office was going to close at 8pm. The lady that called said that I could just walk in between the time she called me to 4pm. It was extremely nice of them to call but it would have been nice too if the online booking system was up to date with their hours. Once I arrived, I saw that alll the chairs were out away and many of the patients were waiting in their car. I checked into the office through a link they provided in my text messages and was able to see how many people were ahead of me and approximately how long I would be waiting. At the time, it said I would have to wait there for about two hours and since my boyfriend dropped me off, I decided to just walk to the nearest trader Joe and some of the other stores in the plaza on the next block. Luckily, after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, the lady at the front desk called and said that it is my turn to get checked. When I got back to the clinic, I was able to go in and get my PCR done. Called on 12/09/22 to be seen as my son was sick. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist on the phone seemed annoyed like I was bothering her. I didn't think anything about it. When we arrive, the receptionist failed to mention the doctor was busy on the phone. The receptionist says she is not sure if the doctor can see us and that they close at midnight while being rude, ridiculing me for even bothering her. I just wanted my sick son to get some help. They're staff is awful and disrespectful and we had to find another place. This caused too much stress for no reason. This was not warranted. read more

I went there today to bring my 15 month old son who fell and fractured his ring finger. They made wait 3 hours with a crying baby, the woman in the front was rude and lazy didint even wanna go back and check for anything. When I got in, the doctor that was there was watching soccer on his ipad and i got greeted by s medical assistant. The doctor told Me we had to drain the blood out but he couldnt find the tool to do it with. He finally found it after 20 Minutes and asked me to hold my sons hand down so he can burn a hole on his finger nail, however when i offered to put on his favorite cartoon while he was doing it so i could distract him he answered me like this "this is gonna be a traumatic experience and dont try to make it more pleasing and its going to hurt no matter what and hearing the cartoons is just going to annoy him (the doctor) so we should just do it and get it over with".... I had no words!!! I am a RN myself and i have never ever seen a pedistrician speak like that!!! It didint end there... when i asked him if he was going to do an xray he said "you want an xray too"? I said yes off course!!!! Than we finally got the xray while My child is screaming no lollipops, no toys, no smiling workers it was like a nightmare!!! The x ray guy was no inexperienced and old. When i asked about my sons results, he said that i need to go back in the room n he had 5 other patiend he was dealing with while he was sitting on his desk the whole time!!!!!!!!!! I had to go over to Him again after 10 minutes and he told me " oh ur results are here and it shows a gap and we r not sure if its broken you need to go to the orthopedics and go on antibitotics". What a night mare!!!! I wasted 4 hours for him to tell me he wasnt sure! I left there n took my son to the walk in ortho center on Hyland n they were so nice n they redid the crays with lolipops b smiley faces, they handed him little toys. At the end he did have a fracture but he didint need the antibiotics.... DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO THIS PLACE I AM TELLING YOU AS A NURSE and AS A MOM! They should take that doctors license away since he hates his job so much and he was so miserable !!!! read more

PA Kathryn Smith was AWESOME!! I brought my daughter in last night because she bumped her head and got a large cut. Instead of stapling her head she used a new technique "hair apposition technique" to close her cut. My daughter felt no pain!! Kathryn talked to her the entire time making my daughter feel like she was at a hair salon. I can not thank her enough for making not only my daughter comfortable through this scary situation but for also making my family comfortable as well. The only negative about PM pediatrics is their front desk staff and their receptionist in the back area by the exam rooms. They were rude and not nice. The front desk receptionist was having loud personal phone conversations and made it seem like we were bothering her. The back area receptionist would not allow my husband in the room with us because of a HIPPA law stating that only 2 adults are allowed in the exam room with a child at a time. No such law exist! Don't go here. They prioritize $ over health regardless of the patient rights they have printed on their desk. One of the outlined rights is that you will be treated if it is something deemed life threatening - they dont care. Per their new policy as of 4/11/2023 you better pay up or die there. They turned away my 2 year old stating he only had a 100 degree fever yet going to a different urgent care Im advised that fever was actually 103.7 not 100. He was lethargic, in pain and over heating and they didnt offer any services. I had to ask for the temperature which was read in celsius. They couldve seen and treated him but they chose to uphold a policy which states "your child may not be seen" implying its at their discretion. They stated consultation was $150 then it was $100 bouncing back and forth between those numbers to then offer a "financial assistance" option of $75. They are money hungry. Your health will not be a priority at this facility. They are a private institution and reserve the right to refuse service regardless of patient rights. read more

This place was recommended to us as an urgent care for children. What they did was appalling. Brought my grandson here because of a strange rash on his mouth and a fever. He's only 2. We live out of state but are here on vacation. They wouldn't even see him without squaring away financials first then, when we demanded they at least assess his fever since fevers in children that young are dangerous, they took his temp and lied that it was 100.3 (which is still high). Even with a patient's rights list in front of them on the counter that said they couldn't refuse service due to financial reasons, they refused to see him without a high upfront copay due to his out of state insurance. My grandson's needs was not their priority. We left there and went to City MD right down the street, who agreed to see my grandson. They saw him immediately, didn't worry about the financials until he was being seen by the doctor, and his walk in fever was actually 103.1, which could have caused febrile seizures if it continued to climb. CityMD treated him and brought that dangerous fever down. They got their financial information taken care of afterwards. PM Pediatrics, shame on you!!!! read more

I went with my 5 month old to this PM Pediatrics because the ones in NJ all closed at 10pm. When we got there they refused to see my son because they had stopped taking "walk ins" i got there at 11pm and they close at 12am. The girl in the front referred me the the ER. If i would of known this from the start i would not have paid the tolls and just had gone to the ER in NJ close to my house. All i needed was a respiratory check on my baby. Nothing major. This is the ultimate best Pediatric Urgent Care ever! My 3 yr old son has an ear infection, you know how much those can hurt. But he hates the ear exam so much that he denied any pain at the office and was kicking and screaming as we waited for the Dr. The staff there heard the ruckus and offered us a juice box, lollipop and chips, which calmed him down quite a bit. But the best part ever was when Dr Briana Fieramosca walked in. She was so calm and friendly to my son, he instantly trusted her. She played to his ego, and ultimately my son willingly let her check his ears without a whimper!!!! The Dr was very helpful and gave me the time of day with explaining treatment options. She also was very knowledgeable, making the whole experience very comfortable for both me and my child. I've never been happier driving an HOUR to a clinic. I haven't done any reviews for a while, but I had to write one for this place. I'm very upset that my son was misdiagnosed by one of the doctors here and was treated with an attitude by the Asian receptionist. I brought my one year old daughter here a few days ago due to a fever and doctor k informed me that she had an ear infection and prescribed amoxicillin for her to take for the next 10 days. Two days later, I found spots on my two old son's leg. I suspected it may be molluscum contagiosum from research online. My son's primary care was already closed, so I decides to come here. I walked in with my two kids and my husband and signed my son in first since he's a new patient. I kindly asked the receptionist if I had to take a picture of my id in the tablet and she answered me rudely saying no and pointed at the sign saying it says it there. I just continued signing in and decided to sign my daughter in for a follow up to see if her ear infection is getting better. After completing the sign in, I went to the main desk and provided my id and insurance for my son. The receptionist asked me to sign for my son, so I signed. She continues and says oh there's another one. Having said that I assumed I had to sign again, therefore, I signed. The receptionist, then, gave me an attitude saying I meant there's another sign in referring to my daughter and gave an annoyed sigh. A minute later, she tells me to sign again for my daughter and asked me to be seated and wait. I don't want to sound racist, but moments later another white parent signs in her child and was asking the receptionist questions. The receptionists whole mood and expression changed. She was smiling and laughing with that parent. I was thinking to myself "I didn't say anything to offend her nor was I rude. Why was I treated with completely different as opposed to the other parent the first and second time. It's probably because she's racist that I was Asian and she was white." Put that aside, it didn't really matter to me since I was here for my kids to be checked out . We got called in and the nurse took the vitals for my kids. The doctor walked in and I explained what was going on. I informed the doctor of the spots in my son's leg and asked if it was ok for him to check on my daughter's ear. The doctor gave me a response regarding my daughter saying "it's only been a few days." As a worried and new mother, it is expected that I would want to assure that my babies are getting better and not worse. That response is a little unexpected for a doctor to say at first without understanding how new parents feel when their babies feel ill. He goes ahead and examines my sons spots and explains that my son may have hsp (Henoch-Schönlein purpura). He tells us that it will get worse before it gets better, but will eventually go away. Then, he examines my daughters ears and says that it's just a little red inside. We get discharged and we walked down the hallway. We passed by the receptionist and she didn't even want to say goodbye to us. Being that it's common courtesy, we said thank you and bye to her anyway. After hearing that my son has hsp, I did some research online about this autoimmune disease. The more research I did, the more I found it strange that the doctor didn't ask or inform me of any of the symptoms that may occur with this disease. This disease may cause symptoms include reddish-purple spots on the lower extremities, swollen and sore joints, abdominal pain, or bloody urine. It may also affect the kidneys. Also, this disease is rare with less than 200,000k cases in the US and may need lab tests and imaging. The more I read, the more worried I was. The next morning I decided to bring my son to his primary care physician to re-evaluate this diagnosis. The PCP knew right away that it was molluscum contagiosum or "warts." This is absurd, that a doctor here at PM Pediatrics can misdiagnose hsp and molluscum contagiosum. My husband and I were so upset that they could make such a big mistake. We do not think we will be coming back to this location and please be advise that you may not receive the right diagnosis here. *I'm giving them two stars only because the first doctor we saw was nice and the rest of the staff were friendly. read more

We took our then 20 month old daughter here for treatment in November. She had red blotches/marks all over her body - her arms, legs, midsection etc. The doctor examined her and told us the marks were bug bites. We thought this was unlikely because our daughter had one mark on her chest in the morning but by night they were all over her body. We expressed our logic that it seemed unlikely the marks were bug bites because she was not in her bed since morning. We also explained that she was on medication for a cold. When we suggested the possibility of an allergic reaction, the doctor became defensive and more emphatic. She shrugged her shoulders and said something the effect that they could be in her clothes but that they were "definitely bites from some kind of bug." Even though we were skeptical, we freaked out and discarded the bed sheets, clothes and anything else we thought might contain the "bugs." In the morning we took our daughter to her regular pediatrician who laughed about the diagnosis. She said they were most certainly NOT bug bites but indeed an allergic reaction. We understand that people make mistakes; it happens. The reason for the rating is more for the doctor's attitude at PM pediatrics. She was condescending and dismissive. She did not listen to us, the parents; she did not ask what medications our daughter was taking , nor did she care when we told her. Suffice to say, we will not take our daughters there again. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I've gone here plenty of times and loved the place. However, at a recent visit at, I felt like my concerns were being dismissed by the doctor and got questioned as to why I was bringing my child in for a cough. The doctor barely examined my child and didn't take anything I said seriously. We brought her back later in that night and the doctor asked my fiancé "what's the problem now" I refuse to bring my children to a place where the doctor doesn't take me seriously and completely dismissed any of my concerns. Oh and not to mention he wouldn't even examine her the second the time. I took her to the pediatrician today and come to find out my daughter needed to be put on steroids and antibiotics that should've been started 2 days ago. Went here only because our primary was away on vacation. Dr explained that my child most likely had a double ear infection because both ear drums were red, and prescribed antibiotics. I was hesitant to give the prescribed antibiotics because my child was so young. Luckily, my wife pushed to go for a second opinion from a friends primary pediatrician that same day....and....no ear infection, no redness, no antibiotics , diagnosis was a head cold. Came in with 5 year old who's been on antibiotics, steroids and still coughing with a fever for 2 weeks. Asked the doctor to do chest x-ray, Dr. George refused and stated that the symptoms were upper respiratory and lungs sounded clear. Treatment prescribed was Flonase and Claritin. I was not happy with her opinion, my mother's instinct said go further and get a second opinion. They next day went to a different doctor who said to do chest x-ray immediately which revealed PNEUMONIA! How do you miss pneumonia? Dr. George's diagnosis was far off! Please save you children, stay away from Dr. George to avoid such misdiagnosis! I'm not sure about other doctors. Parents please pay attention to the reviews... who cares how clean and child friendly staff is, if the doctors sucks, none of that matters. read more

I brought my son today for the first time. I was very impressed! The castle decoration on the wall and castle-type doors were adorable! The staff was so friendly from the moment I walked in. We were brought into the Marvel Comics room and my son was loving the decorations. The nurse was very friendly and thorough. Dr. Crosby was amazing! She was talking Spider-Man with my son, playing around to make him comfortable and talking to him. She was very caring and thorough. She answered all my questions. Best part was this was the very 1st time my son saw a doctor and didn't cry at all! HUGE bonus points for that! A quiet Saturday late afternoon in this office became almost a 3 hour doctor visit. I could of been seen faster in the emergency room with a sick child. Silly me thought this was a children's type of urgent care so that you could avoid going to an emergency room apparently not. My child was hysterical crying with ear pain as the front desk receptionist was arguing with a patient about a previous visit. 2 people in the entire waiting room and 3 hours spent here for what reason? So I ask aggravated as I was they stated they're short staffed. I explained that shouldn't mean leaving patients in the waiting area for hours. Start bringing them into the rooms and keep them comfortable. Once you get through the big brown door you have plenty of staff walking around and sitting at reception. I then said my pharmacy will be closing soon so could we please try and hurry this up. The doctor said we will give the patient her first dose of antibiotics here so you don't have to go to the pharmacy. Which was fine with me but what about the morning when she's due for another dose and now I have to go back to the pharmacy to pick it up the next day. So I had to rush to my pharmacy before they closed. Only for my daughter to be looked at for maybe 25 minutes. Never again. You can go to any urgent care walk in and be seen in 2 minutes but here you have assistant doctors come in 2 or 3 times to claim their "experience". read more

I brought my 4 week baby in for evaluation after he was crying for 6 hours. Thought urgent care would have been the best bet since it was after hours and my pediatricians recommendation was to get him checked out. Upon arrival they notify me that they don't usually see babies this small and the ED is preferable for his age. I denied ED since my son's temp was normal and I knew something was just not sitting right with him. As the MD walked in her first question was about breastfeeding and pressuring me on why I wasn't breastfeeding. We were discharged with papers on how to feed the baby and how breastfeeding is best. Their observation was he needed to be fed. Fast forward to the next morning at my pediatrician's office, he was diagnosed with a Milk Protein Intolerance. Unfortunately, PM Pediatrics missed the milk allergy and I guess that is why they stated they don't see babies this young. I would not take a newborn here in the future. My son is 1 now and healthy, we visit CityMD down the street for all his needs. read more

They are brand new. So new that I just added the business to Yelp. I went this morning because my son has been running a fever for a few days, and I wanted to have his ears and throat checked before this week begins in case he needed antibiotics. His doctor has weird hours on Sunday. We walked in and it was completely empty (probably because no one knows about it yet), and the smell reminded me of when I first had my son- when everything is new and clean. It is decorated as a castle inside, which is so fun for the kids, and the waiting room had a tv with kid shows on. We were greeted at the front desk by a receptionist and an MA. They took my son's insurance (Amerigroup, now BCBS HealthPlus), which is a big deal because many urgent cares don't accept it. The receptionist was very nice, and the MA was nice, but not as friendly as the receptionist, which is fine. The doctor came in (Dr. Fidel Garcia) and he was so sweet, and made my three year old smile right away and feel comfortable with him. My son let him listen to his chest and check his ears and throat with no problem. As parents we know this can only be done when a small child trusts someone. He did a very good job of easing my son before he started his exam. I got a print out, similar to what you would get in the ER. I was in and out in maybe 15 minutes. It was perfect and exactly what I needed. I'm hoping in the future when it inevitably becomes chaotic and busy, that they will have more than one doctor on to keep things moving this smoothly. They have an area in the back that resembles a nurses station with many chairs and computers, I'm assuming for just this. There were also TVs in the exam room with kid shows on, to keep them occupied during the wait. The doctor did his exam slowly and thoroughly. Will definitely return in the future. This is going to be a life saver! I never wanted to take my son to an urgent care because they weren't pediatricians. I'm glad someone finally opened a specialty one. read more
