I wouldn't even know about it until after it was fixed in most cases. He took the headache out of being a Landlord. Then we decided to sell the property and the tenant was being difficult about leaving. We would have lost the sale if not for Kring Property using creative thinking to get the job done. My experience with Howzer has been quite positive, and I find their services to be dependable. (Phew.) One standout individual from the team was Cyn, who provided exceptional support during a period of anxiety about securing good tenants for the three vacant units. She not only eased my concerns but also successfully found excellent tenants--one of whom has even developed a friendship with my cousin, who lives in the other unit. The only minor issue I've encountered--an occasional visit from a neighborhood cat on our porch (as seen in the attached picture)--is clearly beyond Howzer's control. This slight inconvenience did make me think about lowering the rating, but upon reflection, it seems unfair to hold them accountable for this. So: if you're searching for someone to effectively balance proficiency with a genuine care for clients--even from a distance--Howzer Property Management gets my vote. (I've used a couple companies in California and those don't compare; I don't mean this as an insult but the customer service at Howzer made me feel like I slipped back in time and got very high touch customer service at Nordstrom's in the 1980's.)

They were either not responsive…read moreenough, would have a high turnover of people in charge (so you would know know who to communicate with), never followed with the list of preventative maintenance requests, would do nothing on optimizing rental income, or would be way too expensive (sometimes, all of the above). Hiring Longview Properties lowered by stress, and increased my confidence in being a landlord. They own their own properties, so they understand what's important to both, the landlord, as well as a tenants. They are easy to communicate with, and they know the tenants by name (they are not just another unit number). Most impressive though is that they put themselves in your shoes, and do what you would want to have done - one example, when driving by the property on a weekend, of a fall afternoon, I saw Mike (the owner of Longview Properties) blowing leaves - when I asked him what he was doing, his response was that he would not spend $600 for 30 minutes of landscaping work, regardless of it was his property on mine. It's that level of customer service that it's extremely rare to find anywhere else.
