My husband went to this PNC location during his lunch break to request a cashier's check for the closing/settlement on our home. I guess my husband did not fit the description of someone who would be able to pull out a large sum of money as they made him jump through hoops to prove he that he was not trying committing a fraud. When asked if this was protocol for everyone and at all PNC locations....you could hear crickets...no one had an answer. Not to mention how foolish the staff looked when he returned with the "extra" documents he needed to prove himself. He ultimately received the check but it's a shame he had to go through the extra trouble when the same probably would not have been asked of others... read more
