It is just outside of Greensburg. Across the street is a gas station and a hotel. But when driving through late at night it does feel remote. It is an older looking bank that appears to have several drive thru spots for quick banking. Pulling up to use the ATM is easy, right in the wall. My purpose here was to deposit a check. If I remember correctly I did not need to use an envelope for deposit, just insert the check and be done with it. Easy in and out late at night, which is the thing I need when I work the hours I do.

Dollar Bank is not a disappointment to me in any manner, each time I stop at a branch I can do my business and be on my way. I pulled in here, pulled right up to the ATM, and deposited my check. Nothing more needs to be said. Dollar Bank always pulls through for me. Fun fact about this location, it is basically the only remaining piece of the old Greengate Mall. It is the only piece of the mall that is still standing. When they cleared the way for Greengate Center it was left intact. It's like holding onto the past. If you want to picture what the mall was like, just look at this building.

When it first opened I believe it was a Fifth Third before they exited the region. I'm not a particular fan of First National as they burned me in the past, long story and not needed for this review. I seem to find myself doing my banking while on the road home from work late at night. Doing this that means I need to find an ATM that will allow me to do deposits. I was skeptical when I pulled in here if I would be able to do that. This sits on a rather big lot for a bank, but that makes it easier to get to the drive up ATM. The ATM is of the newer variety which made banking that night very easy. I appreciate that they switched to one that you do not need envelopes for. Being right along Route 22 makes for an easy on/off the "highway" through the area. Thus why I chose it on my route that day.

While technically they weren't deploying deceptive sales tactics (because the fine print is on their website), their associates never properly explained how the promotion worked. Beyond that, the online portal for your account is horribly setup and not user friendly. Finally, I have to be honest in saying that some of their associates are not very good at explaining the processes involved in more complicated transactions such as those involving a mortgage in my case. Before you consider doing business with Dollar Bank, I recommend you consider other options available to you and if you do decide to work with them make sure your pencil is more than sharpened. They do not look out for their customers and do not seem overly concerned about making things right.

All the staff is friendly, quick, and efficient. No matter how big the line, they serve everyone in just minutes. Just a note: the address is Peebles Rd., but if you're looking for the location of the bank, just go to the McIntire Shopping Center in the North Hills. It's at the end of the shopping center closest to Vincentian.
