While the church was originally constructed /dedicated in 1900, they have managed to maintain it wonderfully beautiful way! The stained-glass windows are just breathtaking. A few concerns. No church meetings to disclose or discuss church finances and accountability. Some…read morequestionable practices, very low accountability among leadership. Most people who attend are awesome. Leadership has a "don't question authority" boomer issues. Hense, no financial accountability. They just hang a paper on the cork board... No deacons, the board is just 2 other pastors... 8 families have left in under a year. 2 due to disagreement of teaching children's ministry. Whi h could have had an easy resolution, whi h leadership is not equipped to handle. We're leaving due to same issue. Leadership does not have good communication or conflict resolution skills. Also, apparently, leadership was listening to gossip about me, with out seeking g me out to verify or question information. FOR 2 YEARS! Just be careful.

The building was cozy and welcoming as were the people. Since this wasnt an actual Sunday service I can't speak on that but it was a nice send off for the departed. Three stars because too much time was spent on praise and acknowledgment of pastors and ministers in attendance. The focus should remain on remembering the departed and supporting the family with the greaving process.
