If you've been hurt at a church, remember church people are still people and they make mistakes. I've been to several churches throughout my life, and Spring Creek really made me feel like I was home. From the greeters at the front, to pastor Keith's message, the experience keeps me coming back. I have been coming to Spring Creek for about 10 years now. Everyone treats you like family and you never feel excluded. The beginning of the services start with worship music ranging from blues to Christian contemporary like Hillsong United. Afterwards, a pastor (mostly Keith) gives his message for about an hour and a half. In addition to great weekend services, they offer childcare (Sunday school activities for children), a cafe, a gift shop, and an outdoor playground. I highly recommend this non-denominational church for anyone who enjoys worshipping with hundreds of other people. read more

I read the other reviews and wanted to comment since I've been attending for about 4 years. While SCC is very large so it would be hard to get to know people individually just from attending the service, there are multiple smaller groups to join for companionship. No, the pastor can't get back in touch with everyone; the man does 3 services each week for hundreds and has the right to a life of his own (though he very much devotes it to those he serves, including in Africa...) Let me linger on the service for a moment: his messages alone make this church a miracle. Each message is personal, relevant, and touching. I had searched and searched for a church with half the impact this one has on my heart and spiritual life but none come close. I highly recommend this church. I guess you may not get the best help from the staff or could feel lost in the crowd (I never have experienced that) but it will fill your heart with joy, which is really the purpose anyhow. read more

Springcreek is a non-denominational Christ centered church. I have been going here since about 2008 and only wish I had started sooner. I absolutely love worshipping here. It is very laid back and casual. The music is great, the sermons are outstanding, and you get the feeling all are welcome, because all ARE welcome. We have people in attendance from all walks of life and more importantly, from every race. The church is very active in the community and I believe the leadership is striving daily (and leading the members) to do the true work of God. I have a "traditional" non-denominational background, but I was looking for a place that my boyfriend and I could both attend back in 2011. He was not into the church scene, and I didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable, and for that matter, I didn't want to be uncomfortable in my church experience either. I felt like too much emphasis was placed on "seeming good" and "being perfect" in my old church. (Something I never lived up to, in my mind...) We came into Springcreek based on yelp ratings and location, and we enjoyed it so much. I have never looked for another church since. Long since lost the boyfriend, and I've moved further away, but Springcreek just keeps on giving, and I keep coming back. Easy atmosphere, diverse group of worshipers, excellent teaching, great musicians and singers, and I just feel like God walked me in the door. I've been through countless situations since 2011 that have made me so grateful for and proud of my home church. It's a lifeline, and if you can't make it to the service, they stream on their Facebook page at 10:00 am and 11:30 am Sundays. Be blessed. read more

Our family loves this church. We attend both Saturday and Sunday services depending on our schedules. We like the coffee stand mentioned in the other review and that person nailed the feeling and description of the atmosphere. They also allow drinks in the worship area which is a really nice addition. I can see why the other review said the staff isn't helpful because they aren't in your face but anytime we have needed help and asked for it we have always had very courteous and helpful interactions. I am a senior person and I come from a strict Southern Baptist background. The music was beautiful and spiritual and all the old familiar hymms were sung. The pastor would PREACH to us sinners and had us squirming in our seats whether we were guilty of anything or not. Now 50 years later, I discover Springcreek Church and Pastor Keith. The music is upbeat and has you moving your feet. Psalm 150:4 says: "Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!" And they do that at Springcreek. The sermon is not a PREACHING, but a TEACHING to the congregation. Everyone I have met has been friendly and welcoming and will gladly help you if you ask. The atmosphere is casual or dressy. It's not about what you wear, but hearing God's message. 1 Samuel 16:7 says: But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart." This church appeals to young and old alike. A lot of small churches are losing attendance because the young people are going elsewhere. A church has to appeal to the youth to grow and Springcreek does that and more! read more

I've been attending this church since '98. I was a catholic who never went to church and someone who really wasn't interested in getting to know anyone. I have changed so much over the years I'm amazed. The one thing I will say about my change is that it was intentional. First I wanted to do something to help but didn't really want to get to know anyone so I did Habitat for Humanity. I enjoyed it but wanted more. Then I helped clean up a park in an area where there was crime and people were hiding in an over grown park area. Again I enjoyed it, but wanted more. I finally decided to do a study at the church. That changed everything. Over the years I was asked into a women's group and really blossomed from there. I'm still in a women's group and am very thankful for these women. I help with the women's ministry in providing ways to help women like me connect. My husband and I also volunteer at a homeless shelter in Dallas.It's been such a 180 it's hard for even me to believe the change that has happened in my life....really in my heart. I'm very thankful for this church and for Keith and his teachings. The church offers many outlets for people. Support groups, Prayer groups, Outreach groups, Studies, and ways to volunteer within the church. I say this because I've noticed over the years people say we didn't greet them enough, or no one called me back, or how come your church doesn't offer xyz. If you're looking for a church to hold your hand through the process of YOUR journey this is not the church for you. If you're looking for a church where everyone looks like you, you may be disappointed. We are a diverse community. I am Mexican American and am so thankful to see people like me, but I'm just as thankful to see my Anglo brothers and sisters or my African American brothers and sisters or Asian or Indian. Young, old, poor, rich, we have it all!! I really could go on and on because I want to paint a picture about how much I love my church. Just know you're welcomed no matter your background or what you've done or where you come from. This is God's house. Peace to all of you. read more
