The class was pole flow and babyyyyyy when I say I was sore after class, Mynaaa was the instructor who worked the hell out of her students. The prices are reasonable especially for drop ins and open pole which is $11, the also offer 1 free class to try to see if u like it. They have gained a new student, I definitely will be going back. BTW they offer more than just pole classes, they offer martial arts ,sound bath and much more.

That nervousness disappeared instantly thanks to the warm welcome I received at the front desk. As someone who's a bit older, I wondered if I'd feel out of place--but age has never been a factor here. The environment is inclusive, supportive, and empowering. I've taken classes with every instructor, and not once have I had a bad experience. Each one brings their own unique energy, style, and creativity to class. The choreography is consistently fun and challenging, and the music always hits. No two classes are the same, which keeps things exciting and fresh. Every time I leave class, I feel stronger, more confident, and completely empowered. I'm not the same person I was when I first walked in over two years ago. I'm completely obsessed with pole now, and I owe it all to Xpose for helping me discover that passion--and for giving me the space to grow into the person I am today.

If you havent been here before you need to go! It is not…read morejust a pole dancing studio. They offer so much more from zumba to fab abs! The price cannot get any better either. Most studios charge by class, but A Pole New You has a monthly membership fee. So I can go to as many classes as I want!! The studio is awesome. It is very clean, feminine, and even smells good. The instructors are very knowledgible and friendly. The class sizes are small, so you really get to know each other and feel comfortable working out. I am sad that I moved away from the area, but when I visit I will try to stop by and take flutter-ins!

They also offered a Groupon and it was a great deal. After the end of that month I ended up purchasing another Groupon because I had such a great time and wanted to continue to the "Conceptions II" class for intermediate! I was finally able to lift myself up and hold it! The instructors are fabulous, fit and fun! I especially adore Vera T and Tammy (the owner). I eventually purchased a month's worth of additional pole and fitness classes since I was also preparing to wow my family and friends at my 27th Birthday trip to OC, Md (June 2013). Needless to say, I have abs now!! Ladies, if you want to build muscle, increase flexibility and overall be in the best shape of your life, give A Pole New You a try. IT WORKS! Besides, how cool is it to say that you pole for fitness?! Sex factor?---at a 1000 notches!! #Turntup Hopefully, another opportunity will arise for me to be back with the instructors I've grown to love and respect! Thanks ladies for everything!!

They also offer classes like stretch, yoga, mixed fit, Zumba and more. If you want to build on your skill set this is the studio for you. I focus on the cirque sensual side of the studio (so acro chair, aerial hoop, and pole silks). It's a lot of fun and I have progressed since I began almost 2 years ago. I just wish there were more classes and levels offered within the cirque membership. It's been great working with the current instructors. Though I miss many of the old instructors, each instructor - old and new - brings their own uniqueness and fun to the studio.

I would not recommend this gym. I've been fortunate enough to take classes at/join several smaller,…read morehyper, local gyms. This one, however, left a lot to be desired. I purchased a package of yoga classes from Groupon. The owner was kind enough to apply the package to my account, which I appreciated. Originally, I was supposed to be able to book the classes directly through Groupon, but I was unable to do so. Not a big deal. However, what is a big deal, is the fact that on the same day that the package was applied to my account, I informed the owner that I would be attending a class. I registered for the class and everything through the app. It is nice that they have their own app. However, Things started to crumble when I actually arrived. I register for the class less than two hours before it started. Actually, I think it was within an hour. When I arrived, there was no greeting when I entered the building. There was a young woman sitting at a desk on a computer. I informed her it was my first time and asked what I needed to do. She checked me in, but said nothing else. She didn't indicate if I should wait, go back to the class, what was going on. So, I sat down next to another woman who had a yoga mat. About 10 minutes later, and definitely after the scheduled start of class, another woman came in with a yoga mat and proceeded to walk right through the door next to the desk. At that point, we realize that maybe we were able to go back. So, we started to. However, in order to get to the back room where yoga is held, you have to walk-through to pole/chair dancing classes. I hate walking through other people's classes that are actively taking place. But whatever. It would've been fine if we hadn't been made to wait because they were recording videos of the dancers.Like... I'm already late. PLEASE. So, we eventually find our way to the yoga room, which is really a pole room but it has enough space for yoga. As soon as we entered, an instructor made note of the fact that we would not be needing our yoga mats today. I was immediately annoyed and confused. Why would I not need a yoga mat for a yoga class? It was at that point that she informed us that we would be participating in a "chair one "class because the yoga instructor asked her to sub. Now, remember, when I said that I had just booked the class? You don't think the owner knew this? You don't think she should've maybe mentioned that to me as the person who clearly had signed up for yoga for a reason? And the chair one class was nothing like what I had hoped for. It was not a chair dance class. It was a "cardio" class for people with mobility issues. Based on the looks of things, nobody in that class had mobility issues. I was so tight. I ended up doing all of the exercises standing up because I was already there and needed to work out. I absolutely left with an attitude. However, I try to give small businesses, grace. I came back the next week. And when I did, I experienced a yoga flow that was confusing, and not relaxing at all. In fact, during the entire flow, you could hear the ex excessively loud and upbeat music from the chair and pole classes. And, the instructor kept having issues with the sound during our session. I did not like the flow, I did not like the cues. This wouldn't have even been a good intro to yoga class for someone who has never done it before. There was just too much unprofessional behavior here. And I absolutely would not recommend.

The instructor let us know that if you take the regular classes (membership) then you do way more working out, she was just easy on us since it was a party. As far as the pole class itself, it was very, very hard. I realized that I have NO upper body strength. I mean I really don't see how strippers (oops exotic dancers) do it. If you're looking for this type of workout I would definitely visit this establishment. The instructors were very nice and professional. Plus its Black Owned and I'll definitely support that. You can actually drop in for the exotic classes on Sat. and I believe you have to see if there is room for the pole class. I believe the classes are $20. The instructor also stated that they have another location in Ga. I haven't visited that one yet (from Ga.).

If its something I am able to do well, they get $2 and if I can do it, they get encouraged to get down. Okay, so not only do they teach you a routine, they do aerobic exercises to teach you how to do them properly. These exotic and former exotic dancers create a non-competitive environment and encourage you to let your inner dancer come out. They tell jokes and intimate stories that help you feel better if you aren't able to do a move effortlessly. I enjoy going here and always feel comfortable. They also offer specialty classes, like "Booty Poppin and Shakin" "Video Vixen" "Lap Dance Specials" etc... Going here, I've gained a great perspective on the athleticism that you must have in order to be a stripper AND look good doing it. They also sell 5-7inch heels here so you can really get the full feeling. If you want to just see without being charged, the Saturday at 12 class is free for first timers.

After the first drive time was complete, I reached out to Mr. Phil requesting a second drive time. Mr. Phil responded back and was adamant that he would not schedule additional drive time until our child has practiced 8-10 hours with us. She received no feedback during her drive time nor we were told what to practice to help improve her driving skills to even know what to have do when she is under our supervision! When we have taken her out, we feel that our daughter is doing a great job for a new driver! So our family found his response unacceptable! Mr. Phil is her instructor and we are paying him to provide our child the basics of driving which she needs! When we said that if he is unwilling to teach properly and help complete her drive time, that we would like to request a refund. Without hesitation or explanation, he said that he will issue a refund! He did not argue nor try to keep our family as a customer! Now we are left not knowing why Mr. Phil let us go so easily and wondering how a company can refuse to continue working with a child while having to search for a new school to take over! I am extremely disappointed with this driving school! The communication has been poor and has been through text messages and we have found Mr. Phil is very unprofessional and unhelpful! Despite the great reviews they have that led our family to choosing this school, we have had a horrible experience! Do yourself a favor and bypass this driving school!
