But when I was leaving and Dr. Kelleher told me 'good luck in life' as though my life is so awful I need his luck... here we go. One star for always getting me in quickly. That's great. I have an odd schedule so it's hard for me to see anyone. My first appointment ...they accidentally double booked my time slot and the tech rushed. She was actually told me she needs to hurry up bc she needs to see the other patient and she would have to work On me and him at the same time. What? She didn't even assess me fully and I had to point out things she missed bc she was rushing so hard. She 'fixed' my permanent retainer very poorly and told me it's 'normal' for food to eat stuck between my permanent retainer and teeth which IS NOT NORMAL. I had to come back a second time bc the retainer was cutting me over and over which never happened until she tried to 'fix' it. They took down my permanent retainer and made me a clear retainer. The clear retainer was such a poor fit I had to come back a third time at which point the Dr just said since I'm so frustrated why don't I go somewhere else? Why did I need to drive 25 minutes for that? Just tell me that over the phone? Kudos to the guy for cutting his loses but what a crappy ride to get there. Also it was all whatever to me at this point bc I'm sure they weren't trying to fail so hard, they're just not good at their job but whatever it's not malicious but then came through 'good luck with life'. Do you think my life is crap bc I had the audacity to be displeased with your service? Bc I had the nerve to speak up? Is it not ok for a woman to be frustrated so you think any woman who's not quiet and meek must be a miserable b*tch she needs you to wish her luck in LIFE? I called you out on your poor skills. That's not on me. I should be wishing you luck in your continued 'attempts' at being an orthodontist. Sir I am killing it at life. I wish I could say the same about your ability to be a medical professional. EDIT: they told me it's not normal to have an upper permanent retainer. Called another practice, they said is for sure normal. DO NOT TRUST THEIR 'MEDICAL' ADVICE. SECOND EDIT: the receptionist basically refused to run my dental insurance saying they're not going to cover it so why even bother. Why not try? Your office contacted me to confirm the appointments, so I assumed everything was scheduled correctly. When I arrived, I was told the orthodontist doesn't work on Mondays. If that's the case, why was the orthodontic consultation scheduled on a Monday in the first place? I had to arrange childcare for my younger child and take time out of my day to be here, only to be told I'll have to come back another day. This was completely avoidable and feels like a significant waste of my time. I understand that mistakes happen, but this seems like a scheduling issue that should have been caught either when the appointment was made or during the confirmation. I hope you'll review your scheduling process so this doesn't happen to other families.

First, they charge outrageous prices--hundreds out of pocket per kid--even after insurance. We figured we just had mediocre coverage through Delta Dental, until we went to a different pediatric dentist in Roseville with the exact same insurance... and paid nothing. Everything was covered. So what exactly makes Weideman so special? Honestly, it feels like they've found a loophole to charge whatever they want while leaving parents to fight with their insurance company for scraps. And reading through other reviews it is clear that I'm not the first to complain about this. To make things worse, one of their techs tried to charge us twice for a simple X-ray--just because my 4-year-old moved slightly. When I objected, they said they'd remove the charge. Then they argued with me at checkout to try to add it back in. Are you kidding me? He's four. What did they expect--perfect stillness and a signature? For a place that already bills over $600 per kid out of pocket, the idea that a redo X-ray costs extra is laughable. The whole experience felt nickel-and-dimey and exploitative. Save yourself the frustration--we will NEVER be going back.

Two years before that began a life changing experience- after 15 years with damaged front teeth, a worsening overbite, and constantly chipping/fractured molars, I met with Darlene and Dr. Talbot to see if my teeth could benefit from and handle the stressors of braces. Dr. Talbot was cautiously optimistic that he could fix things without causing tooth loss. We moved forward with diagnostics and I arranged a root canal for one problem tooth/abscess. Not long after, we proceeded with application. In the blink of an eye, they were coming off! In another blink, it's already been a year of retention! I can't thank this office enough for their handiwork. To say that this has been life changing really isn't enough. BACKSTORY: I had told the office when I first made the appointment that I hadn't been to a dentist…read moreall year but I did get my wisdom teeth removed a few months prior. This was mentioned BOTH on the phone during appointment booking and to woman performing cleaning when I arrived. Ive had two appointments with Wood Family Dentistry. First appointment went fairly well. Dr was nice but wanted to do a lot of my teeth. The issue I had was being charged for a service I didn't request/ know I would be charged for I scheduled my cleaning on second visit. While I was there the woman doing my cleaning also did the gum test/ number thing that takes about 2 minutes (probably less) to complete. I wish I would've known to say no but I was unaware I would be billed for it. I then received a bill for $70 for that gum exam. For something that took barely a minute to perform. I texted the office about it curious as to why it wasn't covered and they proceeded to tell me that if I actually hadn't seen a dentist this year like I said it would have been covered. Turns out when I got my wisdom teeth out that office also charged me for exam on day of removal on top of my initial exam. Moral of the story they're all scammers and don't care about you. I paid my bill and told them to never contact me again. ALSO the front desk lady also made a super passive aggressive comment when I first came in that I gave them the wrong number when I called to schedule appointment. I know for a FACT I did not give the wrong number because I called from my work number and call about 30 people each week for work and 80% of the time have to leave a voicemail. I said the same exactly thing I ALWAYS say when giving my phone number: "it's the same number I'm calling you from now, which is 916-***-****". Whoever wrote down my number messed up on the last digit and she blamed it on me which was whatever I just took blame for it and said sorry and moved on. Then when I was leaving I had mentioned potentially getting Invisalign again. The last orthodontics I went to by where I used to live said they have like a 5 tray program to just fix any small movement as my teeth are pretty straight just a couple could be straighter. I mentioned this to front desk woman and she said "oh thats not a thing you have to redo the whole program" and I said "oh my last orthodontics said I could do that I guess I'll just have them do it" and she said "oh well actually we can probably do that let me ask the Dr" Anyway BAD experience would NOT RECOMMEND
