Minolo had an authentic, real and empathetic personality that I have never encountered in this business. He kept the length of my hair so well and it looks even better. I have never been happier walking out of a salon. Some extra feedback: I live 5hrs away in Brooklyn, NY and stayed upstate for the weekend (as I usually do every few months). I found this place by chance on my way to Guitar Center. I have a few Paul Mitchell products and I like them over the several I've tried (esp. "Super Skinny" serum for my frizzy and wavy/curly hair) - so I decided to walk in. I would definitely come back for Minolo, he treated me like a human being and he is very skilled at what he does. Layers started at the same length as my bangs. When asked if I wanted to trim any length and I said just the tips, she proceeded to cut a whole inch off. The only thing she did right was the bangs. My stylist was friendly, professional, efficient. I did request a fade on the sides and back which I didn't get. The price of their most basic men's haircut, which I guess would be the Supercut I, is borderline competitive, a bit more competitive if you are a regular and take advantage of the discounts. But the cost for everything beyond that adds up very quickly. For me the, men's package I get with my regular stylist is more complete, more detailed, and a better value. This is an okay place to come in a pinch, on short notice, and now that I'm at least in their database, I can pursue discounts if I come back.
