Had a fairly good experience with a group. The massage I had was awesome, the room and set up were great. The relaxation room was nice and quiet, sometimes filled sometimes not depending on the flow of people getting treatment. The lunch food and drinks were great, but we had some off service from the bartender on staff. Our server at the table was great though. Hit or miss and they seemed short staffed. In the locker room multiple showers were broken so we had to adjust our plans on showering after our massages but we made it work. And lastly we had issues with our bill and the staff wasn't able to handle it at the moment so hopefully that got taken care of by my friend coordinating after the fact. I would still give them another chance and maybe see how it is coming alone or with a smaller group. read more

My husband and I have made a visit to Spa Mirbeau an annual celebration for our anniversary and the location knocks it out of the park every time! We visited today, a Sunday, which was a rare weekend visit (usually we take a day off and go during the week for a slight discount in pricing for services). There were a lot of groups of women celebrating birthdays, weddings, and maybe just a girls day (which I have enjoyed there on occasion). We started with 50 minute massages. I had Nikki, who I had not had before but was spectacular. If you are getting a massage for the first time, Nikki is the person to request (although I am a massage pro and still had an excellent experience)! She walked through the process, and was sure to make sure I was comfortable with everything involved. The pressure was perfect and she focused on the areas I requested. Afterwards, my husband and I met in the Bistro for lunch and a cocktail. He had the risotto, which he enjoyed, and I got the chicken salad croissant which is a favorite for me. The grapes, apples and cranberries add a depth that I enjoyed. It was also great to see some seasonal cocktails on the menu (I opted for an apple cider mimosa). Sam and Brittany were super friendly, attentive, and made excellent drinks! We have been going to Spa Mirbeau as a couple, with friend, and with family for the past 5 years and they deliver every time. Can't wait to return!! read more

Spa Maribu is conveniently located in the Crossgates mall. Given it's in a mall it's not the most spacious of spas, but they do have a small steam room, sauna and a nice quiet lounging/relaxing area. I did have to wait to use the steam room as it was full. There are only a few recliners available in the relaxing area, so we were all packed in which was a little awkward. The the spa itself is mediocre, but I've always been very happy with the massages I have received. The masseuses are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Last time I treated myself to the longer massage, it was a true treat and very relaxing. I would come back given its convenient location, but there are nicer spas in the greater area. read more

I came here as a gift to myself for my birthday! I love to pamper myself so I was excited to check out this place. I have only had a massage two other times, so I am novice. This place is more pricy than other spots due to the added perk of day access to the spa amenities. I did a spa package that included one 50-minute treatment, lunch (up to $30) and gratuities. I also chose to go on a weekday, so the package was $180. I spent a little extra at lunch, had a drink, so I paid $200 all said and done. Ultimately, I would say it's worth it, especially if you make it an event and enjoy all of the amenities. I will say that this was my first time here and it was different than I had thought, and smaller. I arrived early so I could get the feel of the place and they let you come and enjoy the spa an hour or so prior to your appointment. When you arrive, you check in and get passed to a host to set you up. It seems like they estimate you size and hand you a robe, and they ask your foot size and you are given some slip on, thin rubber sandals. The robe was nice, but a little undersized for me, and the shoes were funny, but everyone is wearing them so it doesn't matter. To change, I asked what was appropriate and she said it was up to your comfort. For me, and pretty much everyone else, it was changing into a bathing suit and wearing the robe. I'm adding this because no other reviews mentioned this. You will put on your bathing suit (or underwear or whatever you're comfy with) and put on your robe and slippers and join the spa crowd. I enjoyed the sauna, steam room, relaxation room, and the hot tub room. The steam room was so nice and large, even though it was just me, the sauna was nice, the other spaces were nice too, but at times the quiet relaxation room got very noisy between appointments. There are signs everywhere to be quiet in there, but it's not enforced. Also, the large hot tub / thermal spa, the jets were broken. That was crappy considering that would be a big selling factor for the spa amenities. For my treatment, I got the deep tissue massage and it was incredible. I felt very relaxed in the heated bed and the masseuse made me very comfortable. The food was actually very good, I was surprised. I ordered the seafood chowder and the burger with truffle fries. The soup was good, plenty of fish. The burger was awesome, fresh patty with onions and mushrooms. It was messy, but what good burger isn't? The fries were also really good and the aioli was a good addition. Overall, I'll return. I might ask to verify that the jets are working in the spa and I would likely get a longer massage since 50 minutes went by in a flash. read more

I had an amazing facial there. I chose to get the premier cru facial. I could have sat on that table for hours. The staff were all very friendly. The locker room was very nice. I enjoyed both the steam room and sauna. I also used both the relaxation room and the aqua terrace, which has a hot tub. I did end up having a snack and it was delicious. I got a peach margarita and arancini. If you have the option go, Monday-Thursday as the prices are cheaper. read more

The massage was great. The food was really good in the restaurant and service there was good. However, the men's lounge needs an upgrade badly... The locks on the lockers did not work correctly. The steam room was broken and not in service. The showers leaked and there is a hole in the wall, where a hook for the shower used to be. The bathroom stalls and urinal were not clean either. When you stepped away, your feet were sticky. When I mentioned this at the front desk and they didn't seem to mind or care. . I have been to Mirbeau a number of times and have enjoyed my visits. When you spend that kind of money, it's not too much to ask for better accommodations. This is the first time where I felt very unwelcome. A few constructive comments: the lockers have locks that apparently one needs a PHD to work; the showers could benefit from handrails as clients are slippery and wet; and the quiet room is not in any way quiet. This was my first visit to Spa Mirabeau. I went with some girlfriends and I scheduled the Mirbeau Ritual. Mirbeau is located within Crossgates mall, but there is an outdoor entrance directly into the spa which makes it feel like a separate building entirely. Upon arrival, you are given a plush robe and sandals and escorted to the locker room. The lockers were very easy to use and spacious. We headed to the relaxation room to settle in before our treatments. The relaxing oasis ambience was on point with dim lighting, music, waterfall and these AMAZING padded lounge chairs. The room I was escorted to was very private and the massage table was situated in front of the fireplace. The service provider was professional and respectful to my privacy and spa experience. My treatment involved a sugar scrub being massaged into my skin. Afterwards, I got into the shower to wash up. The last part of the treatment involved massaging lotion into your skin (choice of two scents), and then a facial massage and spritz. I left feeling relaxed with baby smooth skin. After our treatments, my friends and I enjoyed some of the amenities: steam room, whirlpool, and bistro for lunch. Next time I would certainly try a fitness class and spend some time in the sauna. Cucumber water jugs were dispersed around the spa and it was very refreshing. The dressing room area in the locker room is really well equipped with the spa's products for your personal use. I had a fantastic time, and will be sure to return. The only reason(s) I gave four stars instead of five was: my lunch at the bistro was not out of this world. I got the French onion soup; the soup itself could have used some seasoning, and the cheese on top was a little burnt. Secondly, the water in the whirlpool was a little cold. Lastly, when it was time to check out, it took a good fifteen minutes to do so because there was something wrong with the computer. The spa itself was relaxing and quiet. I went to celebrate my anniversary at 4:30pm and upon arrival I was addressed and given a tour of the facilities before heading to the couples massage. The massage was good and relaxing. After we ate some food at the bistro, it was delicious, the service there could have been better but it did look understaffed. Next we used the hot tubs, steam rooms and the sauna. These were very relaxing. Finally we took a nap in the quiet room with a warm fireplace to finish the session For the future: I would arrive an hour earlier to use the amenities to warm up before the massage treatments. I can't believe a spot of this caliber exists in the mall! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, the spot is spotlessly clean, and the cold, mint scented towels in the relaxation room feel like heaven on your face. I had a 50 minute signature massage and a 50 minute signature facial, and both were excellent. The women's locker room is also very well stocked with anything you would need to shower and get ready before leaving the spa and getting back to your day. I think the prices also reflect the level of quality service you're about to receive. I just wish that, I lived in the area so I could go more often. Highly recommend! read more

This review is only for Le Bistro & Wine Bar at Spa Mirbeau. Located in a shopping mall, Crossgates, it has an attractive looking French Provincial storefront entrance. During daytime hours the skylight above helps to provide the feel of sidewalk dining. Once the sun has set, table seating inside offers a more intimate and inviting atmosphere. However, I believe there are a couple of minor design faux pas that I'd like to get out of the way first. At either end of the banquette wall seating is a hallway. One goes to the servers' station and kitchen and I believe the other goes to the rest rooms. The tables closest to either end of this seating are separated from the respective hallways by half-walls approximately 4 feet tall. If you are seated at the table that is adjacent to the servers' station and kitchen hallway, you are not only repeatedly distracted by the view of staff coming and going, but you also have to put up with the glare from the recessed lighting in the hallway. Also, the floor under that table is uneven so the table rocks (not in a good way). If you plan on ordering a bottle of wine, also plan on drinking it all. Management does not offer the option of resealing the bottle for you to take home. We started with a glass of a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon ($6 during H.H.) for my wife, since we decided to not buy a bottle, and a glass of Founders Robust Porter ($5) for me. Both were quite enjoyable as we were served complementary popovers. My wife's popover hadn't risen and puffed up, but both were very flavorful. Soft floret butter pads coated with a bit of honey were also provided. For appetizers my wife ordered the Duck Liver Paté ($8) and I had the Roasted Mushroom Arancini with truffle oil ($6), both from the Petits Plates menu. The paté was rich and smooth, and served with both fresh raspberries and a bit of raspberry sauce. That was a great combination of flavors spread on the small toasted bread squares. The arancini, served on a bed of arugula, were the lightest and airiest I've ever had with a great mushroom flavor and a good crispy outer crunch. For her main course my wife had the Blackberry Arugula Salad ($12). It was a huge mound of arugula with a blackberry vinaigrette, fresh blackberries and sliced strawberries. Basically, an average salad. I decided to try the Bistro Burger ($17) with caramelized onions, portabella mushroom, and Gruyere cheese on a brioche bun. It also came with hand-cut fries. The beef was served medium-rare as requested and had a nice bit of crisp char on its outside. The brioche bun, branded with a "M", was really fresh and tasty. The caramelized onions actually added moisture while the portabella added an additional texture. Overall, a very good and enjoyable burger. The fries however, were a disappointment. They were not very hot when served, not soft on the inside, and not crispy on the outside. A dusting of grated parmesan cheese couldn't help them. Service was friendly but more casual than upscale as might be projected or expected by the spa atmosphere. Our server did not know the name of the Chilean Cab that was being promoted, but did offer a sampling. Our apps were not served at the same time and the first to be delivered was simply dropped at the table as the server briskly passed us on the way to another table to drop off their food. Overall, if seated at one of the round tables in front of the banquette bench seats, the atmosphere is pleasant and less likely to be distracting. The menu is diverse and worth exploring. read more

This review is based on a recent visit to Le Bistro Wine Bar at Spa Mirbeau - Albany. Spa Mirbeau & Le Bistro Wine Bar opened last week at Crossgates Mall on the upper level above the Regal Cinemas. It was still under construction less than a week ago and they opened the place very fast. They also have other locations in Skaneateles and Plymouth, MA. After shopping at the mall, I took a dinner break at Le Bistro Wine Bar and took a seat up at the bar. The atmosphere here seems relaxed, just the opposite of WOB and D&B's. There are also several tables and soft booth seats in the dining room. The patio is now open too. The place was not busy since it was mid-afternoon Sunday and the bar staff was organizing various bottles of liquor on the shelves at the bar (which ones should be top shelf). They also offer wine, bottled beers, and fountain drinks too. Anyways, I was only here to try the food, so I was given an ice water with lemon. The current fall menu offerings include various appetizers (cheese plate, calamari, oysters, tuna, charcuterie plate), salads, soups, sandwiches & burgers (with fries), entrees (steak,filet mignon, salmon, shrimp, pasta bolognese, and desserts. The prices here are high moderate, typical pricing for a wine bar. I started out with a Cobb Salad ($14/printed as $13 on menu?) which was a respectable size with fresh bibb lettuce, sweet butternut squash cubes, lightly grilled chicken (juicy), fresh avocado, thick grilled slices of applewood smoked bacon, and homemade bleu cheese dressing. The salad was very good and I ordered a Vegetarian Burger with fries($14) next. The Vegetarian Burger was typical size, a soft grilled grain patty topped with fresh cucumber slaw (long thin strips of cucumber/yellow zucchini sliced from edges & red onions), tzatziki sauce on bottom on a thick toasted bun. The side of truffle fries was served hot and had a chewy texture topped with parmesan cheese & chives. After I was finished with my early dinner, the bartender asked if I wanted dessert, but I enjoyed enough tasty food on this visit. I was given a refill on the ice water before paying the check, which came out to $30.24 with tax and before tip. I will have to give Le Bistro another visit soon, a great place to eat and drink before or after the movies or shopping. read more

Mixed bag experience at Spa Mirbeau last month. Went last month with my s.o. for massages before what was going to be a very stressful week, and then hung around the Aqua terrace for a bit following. Our massages were top-notch. I went for the 50 minutes standard offering, being fairly novice, and felt like I got a lot out of the experience. My masseuse did a phenomenal job of adjusting the pressure and working around a minor injury, and at the end of the hour I left with that warm, jelly-like feeling you only get when every muscle in your body is permitted to relax. I especially liked that they offer you options for the scent profiles you would prefer - I went for the lavendar-based option,a nd absolutely loved the feel and smell of it. I have fairly sensitive skin and didnt' have a problem with any of the products they used, which is always a big win as well. After we enjoyed our massages, we drifted into the bar area. The food is aggressively mediocre (cheese plate definitely disappointing). You expect a teeny bit of price gouging - after all, they have a captive audience - but I wouldn't have minded if the fair was a little better. Drinks were okay, but I could feel the irritation from the ladies behind the bar when I asked for a little less on OJ on my second mimosa. Four a super simple request, I didn't expect so much pushback. Maybe they were just havign a bad day, but it definitely lef ta little bit of a weird taste in my mouth. That said, the locker room attendants and the gentleman who came around to pick up empty plates/glassware was awesome. 5/5 for the actual massage, 3/5 for the food/Aqua terrace, 4/5 overall. read more

I tried calling twice today, both times I was immediately placed in an automated queue and waited for more than ten minutes before giving up. Spa Mirbeau charges top dollar for spa services. They should make it easy for their customers to make appointments. Extended wait times are avoidable and unacceptable. read more

Pricey but so worth it! And trust me, I'm usually a Groupon massage type of girl but you have to treat yourself occasionally. We had come for my birthday and they gave me complimentary champagne which was a nice surprise. My husband and I came and both got 50 minute Swedish massages. He had a female masseuse and I had a male and we were both very happy. They asked our preferences in advance and I felt so relaxed afterwards! After our massages we hung out in the relaxing room by the fire and fountain and had tea and spa water. The ambiance was so relaxing we both fell asleep for about an hour. Then we moved on and both spent time in the dry and wet saunas for a bit. The woman's saunas got a little crowded so I did cut it short. The dry sauna has room for 4 comfortably but the wet sauna could easily fit 10. Then we moved to the aqua terrace and enjoyed the Mirabeau burger with truffle fries and house made pickles and the Big Apple flat bread. Our food was sooo good and they conviently add it to your tab that you pay once you leave the spa. Next we ordered some fancy spa cocktails that the bartender brought to us in the giant hot tub/pool. Finally we wrapped by by taking showers. They provide everything you need; shampoo, conditioned, body wash, combs, hair dryers and more. Between 2 50 minute massages, the auto 20% tip and 2 food items we spent about $325. Like I said, that is WAY MORE than I would pay however well probably go once a year as a treat to ourselves. read more

I've been to this spa four times and this last time I left disappointed. the whirlpool was out of order, just like the previous time I came. they do not offer tea in relaxation room anymore. The steam room when it pumps out steam is SO loud it scares you until you know to expect it. You can only check in ONE hour before your appointment. I thought your purchasing of a service included using the amenities? I used to go and have a workout, sauna, steam and have my service. That's now impossible with the new policy. I give this a three star because we have had wonderful experiences in Rhinebeck but no so much in Albany. Last time my wife and I went she got me a 100 minute massage for my birthday. It seemed like the woman was on her phone for most of the time. All through out she would stop the massage, leave one hand resting somewhere on my person while doing something for sometimes minutes at a time with her other hand. Disappointing to say the least when you pay a premium here. We have been to Rhinebeck a couple of times and it was great. If you're in Greene County I would recommend going to see Lenora Freese. I'm off to the spa. I can absolutely say this was a fabulous spa facility and the massage was very spot on. After registration you get a robe and slippers and off you go to the locker room. Doned in your robe, you go to the resting room to await your massage therapist. My reservation was for a deep tissue massage. Stress, they tell me, can causes knots, making my muscles a bit sore. My masseuse, Zach, applied heat and pressure to my sore neck and leg muscles relieving a lot of pain. There are fresh water dispensers throughout the facility for your hydration needs. I saw bowls of fruit placed in the resting area and the Aqua Terrace. The resting area is a large room with probably 2 dozen recliners surrounding a lovely bubbling fountain. There is a working fireplace against the far wall all of this adding to a very pleasant environment. Take a nap, have a cup of tea, chat with your neighbors. It's all good. The spa facilities are a wonderful place to de-stress and unwind. The therapy room has a fireplace on the wall not for heat, just ambiance. You can hear the fountain from the "resting room" next door. The soft music and the bubbling fountain were calming and relaxing. The massage table has a heating pad for additional comfort. The spa thought of everything to give it's patrons the comfort they are looking/paying for. After my massage, I took advantage of the resting area for a little mini nap. It would have been perfect if they left a lap blanket since the robes do not cover your feet. Next on my agenda was lunch. I stepped into the adjoining room (Aqua Terrace) where there's a hot tub, dining area and bar where you can order lunch, snacks and beverages. I opted for something lighter than a full lunch. That being said, the appetizer I ordered was more than enough for lunch. The crostini can be ordered with a choice of two spreads (hummus, olive tapenade, crab & spinach or salmon rillettes). Being a crab lover, I went with 2 of the crab. The serving is just enough for each and every bite of crostini to be slathered with a bite of crab. The spa was great. The spa's pricing fee schedule is not. When the reservation was made online, you pay for the service. I expected on checkout to pay for my lunch and my lunch alone. There was an additional $75 still owed for my massage. It is not made clear when you make your reservation that weekends (including Friday's) are TWICE as much. While I enjoyed the my time at the spa, I feel they need to update their website so that you are not taken by surprise when you check out. This marked my second visit to Spa Mirbeau. Don't be scared off by the fact the spa's in a mall--they do an expert job of making the space feel isolated. I put on a plush robe and got a tour of their facilities, which include a quiet room with a fireplace, a hot tub room with a bar and assorted fruits, the bistro (which I did not get to try), and the dressing rooms, including sauna, steam room, and showers. (Their showers are loaded with products using their two signature essential oil blends. Love the lavender one.) I scheduled the signature massage. I knew (from unfortunate experience) that deep tissue was too much but that I preferred medium pressure to light. Madison gave a fantastic massage with strategies I've never seen before--using hot towels to relief jaw pressure, going in an atypical order that honestly made more sense than what I normally see, placing a dry cloth over my hair so the oil didn't get into my roots. She also consistently checked how I was doing and whether I wanted changes. Be sure to bring a swimsuit--you have to have one for the hot tub, and I forgot mine. You may also want to try on a weekday; not only are prices lower, but turns out a Saturday in summer can summon some rather noisy drunk women. But overall, my experience was very positive. read more

Initially the spa appeared to have a similar yet much less grandiose appearance as the one in Skaneateles. However, my massage was weak at best, the therapist definitely was not putting in an effort. The hot tub was not hot, and the dust on the pretend roof over it was clearly visible and made it appear that they don't take care of their facilities. No spa scent to greet you in the quiet or treatment rooms and no soothing music. You may think I'm a malcontent and can't be pleased but I assure you, I've been to many spa locations and this just didn't meet the standard of a good spa much less to be called Mirbeau. I was overdue for some relaxation. On a Wednesday, I made two appointments at Spa Mirabeau: 50 minute Organic Radiance Facial and a 120 minute Mirabeau Signature Massage. I showed up two hours early so I could enjoy the entire experience. They kindly gave me a tour since I was a first time customer. I was surprised how busy the spa was since it was the middle of the week. When i got there the whirlpool had too many people in it for my comfort, so I slid into my comfy robe and sat down in the resting area by the meditation pool. It was deliciously serene in there! I was able to read in peace since they require that space to be quiet. I even had a chance to nap. After resting my eyes, I was able to enjoy the whirlpool solo. This was my second time ever getting a facial, and the tech did a wonderful job. She performed an initial assessment and asked about my comfort level with some of the products before starting the service. She was very friendly and offered me some really good feedback about my skin routine. My massage?? Absolutely amazing. I nearly fell asleep twice it was so relaxing. I walked in there with a pain in my shoulder that I've had for months and walked out with all pain melted away. It was great. Although I loved the whole experience, it was quite busy in the spa. read more

We will never go again. Pros: The massage therapist and facial tech were good. I would use them again, just not there. Cons: To start off, the quiet zone specified "no cellphones", however, 1/4 of the women (I am only specifying women, because we were the only men in the room) in the quite room were using them. Next, we were told to arrive in the "quite room" 15 minutes before our treatments to relax in the lounge chairs. However, every single one was occupied with 3/4 of the occupants sleeping. We waited on the seat between the women's and men's doors (How awkward and uncomfortable was that?), the only seat available. After a few minutes of waiting, I went to the front desk to discuss the lack seating in the quite area, I was told "sorry", but they were completely booked and that we could sit on the fireplace marble while we waited. That just further infuriated me because all of sleepers could relax in comfort while we had to "relax" on fireplace marble - not comfortable at all. The sad thing was that the awkward seat stationed between the "men's" & "women's" locker room doors was more comfortable. While we waited for our treatments, none of lounging or sleeping women left for treatments. In fact, when I finished with my 100-minute massage, all of the women that had been sleeping were still sleeping in their same places. That leads to the next logical question: What kind of relaxation is available to others prior to treatments if all "relaxation seat/lounges" are occupied, mostly by sleeping women? Furthermore, I understand that there are occasional accidents, but I talked with someone who said this wasn't the first time that Aqua terrace spa was broken. So from our experience, in reality, it is a communal hot bathtub. Also, there were so many women (again, I only specify women because we were the only men) in the "aqua terrace", all trying to talk & hear themselves talk at the same time and over each other. This meant that they kept increasing their volume levels. Finally, everyone else ended up talking so loudly that we finally had to leave because it was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Went for my birthday. Monets palette was the special I chose. Massage was so weak and I asked him for more pressure several times. I was given a "free" glass of Chardonnay since it was my birthday but still charged for it. The girl had a bit of an attitude when I brought it up gave me a day pass even though I would have just preferred my $8 as I have no plans of coming back. My favorite part was when the woman doing my facial disappeared for 13 minutes at the beginning of my service. Real waste of time and money but the amenities and food are ok I guess. read more

Wasted money. This has potential to be okay but you have to do it right. I went with a friend to Spa Mirbeau Albany for facials and dermaplaning. The facials were $130 each and 50 minutes. The dermaplaning was an extra $30 and I was told on phone when I booked that it would add on 15-20 minutes to the facial. When I got to the facial they told me the dermaplaning meant I shouldn't use the spa services like steam room, sauna or hot tub. Wish I knew this ahead of time so I could have enjoyed them before the treatment. Then the facial plus dermaplaning only took the 50 minute time so I feel like I missed out on 15 minutes of facial, yet paid an extra $30. Same thing happened to my friend so it wasn't a technician mistake. My skin looked good after the facial but it's nothing fancy. You are paying for the additional spa amenities in the price. read more

Hands down the best spa experience in the Capital district, but you are going to pay for it. I have a back injury from a car accident a few years back. It's mostly healed, but sometimes I tweak it and it's just agony. Since my insurance has claimed me 100% healed, it won't pay for visits to a physical therapist. So if I'm going to pay for a deep tissue massage anyway, I figure I might as we make it a relaxing spa experience. Which is how I ended up at Spa Mirbeau Friday night. I arrived early and was greeted graciously and given a tour. It really is a lovely place; it doesn't feel like next door is Macy's. I ended up in the Aqua Terrace, and got myself a lovely glass of rose. Lounged in the most comfortable lounge chair. I didn't eat anything, but the bartender assured me they worked with various dietary restrictions. So I will absolutely want to go back. I decided to wait for my service in the quiet room. More comfy lounge chairs that feel sturdy but also like a hammock. I promptly fell asleep. But that's ok at Spa Mirbeau because I was gently woken up and invited to enjoy my deep tissue massage. Which was great. I like a lot of pressure and I was not disappointed. I was also taught some additional stretches to help decompress my spine when I tweak the back injury. Going above and beyond like that really made me feel great. So why four stars? A 50 minute massage is $150. Sure, I got 25% off for booking on a weekday, which brings it more in line with other high end spas. I get that there are added services, the steam room, the jacuzzi, etc... but that's still a steep price. And during check out, my bill was not rung up correctly. My glass of wine was left off the bill. I had to walk back in to correct the mistake and pay for my wine. Also, they bill your gratuity for you. I definitely would have given my masseuse more for the extra care she gave me. read more

Lets get real the only time you'll remember you are in a mall is when you continuously say "wow I can't believe this is in a mall!" This place is absolutely gorgeous and the facilities are amazing. I got the couples massage "It Takes Two" with my boyfriend and the massages were amazing we had been to complexions spa in the summer time and these massage were 100x better. They left you choose which essential oil you want and ask what areas to focus on and pressure. I did not want to leave my table afterwards as I was so relaxed. The aqua terrace is beautiful and a great place to relax before your massage. The staff at the bar were super friendly and accommodating and the food was very good. They have bathing suit dryers as well so you aren't walking around with a wet bathing suit. The water fountain is very serene and no noise from the aqua terrace area can be heard plus with complimentary tea you can just sit and relax. Lastly the wet and dry suanas and little toiletries in the "locker" area are a nice touch. The only downside was it was a bit expensive but if it's just a treat for yourself I don't mind splurging. Overall they really outdid themselves on this spa. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a nice few hour getaway from the world. read more

Great girls day! I could have stayed here forever.... The spa was clean and the employees were kind. The massage was great, and my friend got a scrub which she recommended that it was one of the best! I would recommend to everyone! I got gift cards from my bridesmaids before my wedding. I could never have brought myself to go here and spend the money otherwise. I got a bundle treatment between a 60 minute fragrant massage and facial. The tips are included. Food and beverages are not included. And if you buy any treatment, you can spend all day at the spa with the amenities, such as; the eucalyptus steam room, the dry heat room, and hot tub. All of which were extremely enjoyable. I went there alone but it would be better to go there with a girlfriend. I was bored after an hour in between treatments. It was delightful to drink liquor in the hot tub. Definitely relieved my stress. The fragrance massage was amazing and she was extremely thorough. Got out all my kinks and she even massaged my legs and arms. My facial lady was so nice and funny. Loved her but the treatment I would pass on. The face massage was nice but I never saw a change in my skin afterward. Careful with the lockers, they have a mind of their own. I went the day before and the mushroom salad was great and the side dish of squash was also good. Went again today and they tried to serve raw and cold inside salmon. Tasteless risotto needed salt and pepper. Then I got a mocktail and it was charged as a cocktail. So 12 for lemonade! Too many other choices in the ball I'll go to instead. Amazing. i can't believe i waited so long to try this place out. I got a pedicure from Dana, wonderful! Sam at the bistro was amazing. Went with 5 girls and we all had an amazing time. used the spa, steam room and showers. I agree with some of the other reviewers that there were a lot of people using the same amenities for a really long time, but people have memberships and pay for it. Had an excellent first visit to Spa Mirbeau with a friend. We were there on a Monday so it wasnt too crowded. Enjoyed a nice hot stone massage, quiet time in the resting area, a soak in the whirlpool, stretching in the yoga class and a delicious lunch in the bistro. I was impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the facility. It was definitely a good value for the price of a massage to also have access to all the other amenities. This just became my new favorite local spa! We plan to spend another day of pampering there again soon. read more

The spa itself was very nice and clean! Enjoyed relaxing in the tranquility room and hot tub. I am super disappointed in my massage experience. I was scheduled for a deep tissue massage with Ashley, and I feel like I just paid $150+ for someone to rub lotion on me. There was really no "massage" to it. I specifically said I had a lot of tension in my shoulders and back and wanted her to focus there, but there was no like working out of kinks or really massaging out any knots. I really didn't know what to say at the time without being rude because I wanted to ask if she could actually massage my muscles instead of just rubbing my skin. Even on the legs it never felt deep. For my birthday my mom purchased two Groupons which included a 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. From start to finish it was an amazing experience! The staff was friendly, the spa was clean, quiet and relaxing. We spent the day using the steam room, sauna and whirlpool. There is also complimentary water, tea and fruit available to you all day in the "resting place". Lisa was my massage therapist and was very sweet. It was my first time getting a massage and she made me feel like royalty! Serene was my aesthetician and was also very sweet and professional! My face is glowing from her services. A capital region must! Take your girlfriend, your daughter, your spouse and spend the day there... I've had two facial and can honestly say some of the best that I have ever had... it is pricer than other local spas but well worth it because you can use the entire facilities. I recommend scheduling a service at 2pm , but arrive at 9:30, take a class, then spend time in the steam room, sauna, hot tub and relaxing room, have lunch.... it like a mini vacation.
