I had Nikki, who I had not had before but was spectacular. If you are getting a massage for the first time, Nikki is the person to request (although I am a massage pro and still had an excellent experience)! She walked through the process, and was sure to make sure I was comfortable with everything involved. The pressure was perfect and she focused on the areas I requested. Afterwards, my husband and I met in the Bistro for lunch and a cocktail. He had the risotto, which he enjoyed, and I got the chicken salad croissant which is a favorite for me. The grapes, apples and cranberries add a depth that I enjoyed. It was also great to see some seasonal cocktails on the menu (I opted for an apple cider mimosa). Sam and Brittany were super friendly, attentive, and made excellent drinks! In the locker room multiple showers were broken so we had to adjust our plans on showering after our massages but we made it work. And lastly we had issues with our bill and the staff wasn't able to handle it at the moment so hopefully that got taken care of by my friend coordinating after the fact. To make matters worse, multiple appointments were canceled last minute without proper communication, leaving me without services I had already paid for. I tried contacting management several times to resolve the issues, but received little to no response. The lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable. Massage Envy's failure to respect cancellation requests and respond to concerns borders on unethical. I expected professionalism, but instead encountered mismanagement and a total lack of transparency. I strongly urge others to read the fine print and be cautious with this company.
