EVERYONE was over the top friendly, helpful and professional. I came in a wheelchair, but they did not treat that as an issue. I was treated normally. This was my first visit to Advanced Dental Care coming under an Emergency visit, chipped tooth. I felt so at ease, past had dentist anxiety. Dr. Dabbs took time with me, listening to my husband and myself. Clearly explaining different areas, always in an upbeat manner. Your GPS or other map device will not tell you when or where to turn, it's dumb and frustrating. There's a traffic light where you have to turn to take two quick right turns to go up a steep hill towards a church but turn left into some big tress where a group of office buildings are huddled together and then try to figure out which one is which. The signage is poor or non-existent so best to call for specific directions when you get close. I arrived and found the office but found a locked door. Covid-19 protocols made me wait outside for a receptionist to bring me the new patient forms. I had to go back to my car to fill them out then a phone call that I was done resulted in being welcomed inside, finally. Dr. Jon was very personable and did a thorough exam with his assistant. He asked me lots of questions and explained all of his findings. He also discussed his opinions and recommendations but coordination with my regular dentist is necessary so I'll be waiting fir them to consult and then I should get the proposals for how we should proceed. Bottom line,: Everyone is very friendly, organized and professional. I have no issues with my experience once I finally found the place.Dr Jon did his residency at the VA in Birmingham so kudos for serving the veterans!

I was told I was only going to pay X amount of dollars for a new cap but after I had the cap put on they blame the insurance for the additional $200 they charged me!! I can't believe that I am the first one to use my type insurance in their office and that they did not know what the insurance policy was. I personally think they decided to charge me extra and blamed it on the insurance company after I had the permanent cap put on! Maybe the insurance did Pay less for a different type of crown but Murphy dentistry office staff should have known this when they gave me a quote. Because of this extra money that they surprised charged me with, I can no longer recommend Murphy Dentistry for new patients.

Dr. Perdomo is a very skilled professional and very nice too. When you retire and go on Medicare you will not have Dental insurance unless you buy it. For major work, you can be "private pay" (lower price) or buy Dental insurance and wind up with about the same out-of-pocket expense. Dr Perdomo's staff led me through what would be the best option for me, thank you Milestone Family Dentistry, you guys are awesome!
