Her most notable public art projects are at Zen LOT, a new yoga studio in Napa, beautifying what was once a blank wall in a strip mall. Another mural of many Buddhas is on an abandoned building along the Petaluma-Pt. Reyes Road, after one has crossed the beautifully painted bridge. If you've seen the building with the Buddhas, you know you're headed in the right direction. Giacomini&her husband, MC Yogi, run the Yoga Toes Studio in Pt. Reyes Station- it's tucked within Toby's Feed Barn, past the farm supplies. She has a rustic Buddhist style. Interestingly, on her website, she also sells Hindu artwork, tho it is less known. Giacomini's artwork brings a sense of meditative serenity. Her ten thousand buddhas are a mantra for the eyes.

There is an abundance of blooming flowers everywhere, and even a small beehive tucked away in the bushes. We did the tasting for $25 with 4 pours of mead. I was very impressed with the depth and variety of flavors; each pour tasted completely different from the next! Heidrun comps 1 tasting for 3 bottles purchased, which was a nice addition. There were small children running around and other people with dogs on leash, who may or may not want to socialize. I also had to constantly guard my food and put it away because the dog started to climb on the picnic benches and wanted to eat it when I stepped away to get another taste. This is the 2nd visit that I had to ask for the dog to be retrieved and put on leash; I love dogs but it's slightly annoying to have to deal with this when all I want is an enjoyable afternoon with my own dog. The staff was extremely friendly about it but it's not their dog and they could only do so much.

We drove through the country side and through a beautiful park. Then we toured the town of Sonoma. Next Jesse made us amazing reservations for our wine tasting. We were told to pick out our favorite animal to ride and learned their funny nicknames. Then we were given the do's and don't for the ride. This was a night time tour, so we were able to experience the booming nightlife of downtown and ride by some local hotspots. I have been to Napa several times during the day time, but the night time happenings is sooo much better. The animal scooters were so much fun! Picture a bunch of adults acting like kids in a playground lol. Our tour guide even let us race them against each other. An hour and a half worth of shenanigans from the beginning to the end. Volunteers spread out over land and seat to collect trash and recyclables from beaches and roadsides around the bay. It was a beautiful day to collect trash. After a couple hours of work we all met back at Marconi for the after party which included local beer and cheeses but best of all, oysters straight from the bay. I don't normally drink wine but came for the olive oil and the experience and it did not disappoint! I also eventually changed my mind that red wine can be good:) We were seated indoors and Edd gave us the rundown of what we'd be tasting for the afternoon complete with stories and lots of fun facts. (I now look at any bottles that say "cold pressed" with some light skepticism since it's clearly only written there for marketing purposes!) We ordered a selection of the panini sandwiches, the burrata and butternut squash salad, and the charcuterie board. The fire cheese was delicious and the spread was perfect. Throughout lunch, Edd brought us different wines to taste and by the end we were most definitely sold on the Stone Soup (the red version). The olive oil tasting was so much fun. First of all the bread was so delicious. And then we tasted about 15 (?) different olive oils or vinegars. The raspberry, lemon, and garlic ones were clear favorites. My personal favorites were the garlic and sage. Even though it was a bit of a rainy & cloudy day, the views from the patio were beautiful. We finished our wine out by the fire pit outside, and now I really need to come back during the summertime when the skies are more clear for the full experience. I left with lots of olive oil and great Christmas gifts for the family. The four piece olive oil sets are perfect for that and I brought one home for my family and we did our own inspired mini taste testing (I still miss Trattore's bread tho). 10/10 recommend and yes I definitely want to come back for the summer views and this pizza oven I keep reading in all the other reviews:))
