Most important of all. DO NOT ever go to Dr Gary Bernard. I would give zero stars if I could. If you want details as to why I am saying this read on. I came in as a new patient just needing for him to refill my blood pressure meds, and cholesterol, which I am currently on. I come into his exam room, if you can call it an exam room, and a nurse was at the PC while he was speaking. For background, I am 6' 1, very muscular, full head of hair. I could lose 30 pounds, but you can tell I work out. I sit down and first thing he says to me is you need to lose 40 pounds your are balding and you will be completely bald within a years time. I agree on weight loss, but i would say 30 pounds not 40. remember I said I have a full head of hair. I said to him, what do you mean I am bald? He said your hair is thinning and then he says to the nurse at the PC, order him such and such for his hair loss. He then said to me this will help your hair remain and even grow back. I said I don't want it or need it. He said you will thank me. And by the way, the nurse at the PC never even picked her head up to say hello or to acknowledge my existence. He continues with telling the nurse to order something else. He said to me okay, going to prescribe testosterone that i make in my lab, DHT blocker for you balding head, and estrogen blocker because you have man boobs. I said excuse me? I can bench press 300 pounds and you are telling me i have man boobs? What are you talking about? He said the Estrogen blocker will get rid of your man boobs. I don't have man boobs, its called muscle, and everthing he was ordering for me is to be picked up at his pharmacy. I asked him what about my blood pressure and cholestoral meds. He said you can pick them up at my pharmacy. I said NO, you can send them to Publix down the block from my house. He did not want to hear that at all. Apparently his pharmacy does not take any insurance. He then said I also ordered you whatever it was called for you to inject into your belly button to lose all that fat. I told him, NO, lower carbs and working out will get rid of it. He said, NO, you will thank me. I almost told him to go and fuck himself, but I have better manners than that. I needed my blood pressure refilled, and he did not seem to want to do that for me. He also asked me what my background is and my religion. I said I am a jew, and he says you don't look like a jew, with a fucking look of disgust on his face. I asked him about the testosterone. I said what level testosterone do you like to see in a man. He said 1,000 to 1,200. I told him anything over 900 can cause blood clots and a massive heart attack. Isn't that dangerous to presribe something like that without ever even looking at my lab results. He said, I am the doctor I know better than you. I am really good at reading people. I can tell you in my opinion, he is a racist, piece of shit who only wants money and does not give a damn about the patient at all. He is a disgrace to the medical profession. Guys and girls, please do not go to him EVER. I already have an appointment with a real doctor scheduled. I hope this review helps someone to STAY AWAY from him. read more

I was recommended to Dr. Bernard by a friend. Came into the office, was seen fast, everyone was nice and friendly. Dr. Bernard was very straight forward, and took care of all my needs (even the symptoms I didn't mention at triage) of which most doctors won't do! That's definitely something you would want from a doctor, someone to be 100% straight forward with you about your health. I highly recommend this practice! read more

I received a letter from the BBB and the medical office responded to the BBB saying they were unaware of any issue and that I had not contacted them about my issues. (Why would I contact them when I was face to face with them for hours and they did not help or listen to me, charged me for bogus tests and said it is what it is. I had zero hope they would apologize and refund me) Anyway the letter stated they would refund me and mail me a check. I have my doubts that will happen, but we shall see. I mean as far as all of these posts go they're pretty accurate. It's an excessive amount of time to wait- like ridiculous. They have 2 waiting rooms that they have you go in so when you think it's finally your time and they call you back, you're wrong lol. The RN takes you back and does your basic vitals and history etc then they put you in another room forever. I have enjoyed the few visits i've had with doctor walrod but it takes forever to see her. They need a new system or to stop booking so many appointments. read more

Ever one of these reviews are spot on! This is the worst, most unprofessional group of people I've ever had to deal with. Dr Bernard is constantly trying to sell you his concoctions from his pharmacy. He doesn't pay attention when you speak to him, he always goes back to whatever concoction he can sell you to treat whatever you're there for. If your appt is at 9:15, you might be out of there by 11:30, very long waiting time, they have no concern or respect for your time, nor will you ever hear them apologize for making you wait so long. They have a patient portal that you can make requests through that no one monitors or responds. If you email them with a request, they don't respond, I've emailed numerous times this week trying to get them to fax in a prescription for a mammogram and ultrasound, nothing. I'm also waiting for them to increase my thyroid meds, nothing. Four times this week alone, they don't respond. I'm done, I've already made an appoint with another doctor to be my Primary Care. This is the worst, most unprofessional practice I've ever encountered. I'm 61 years old and have been to many doctors offices, this is, by far, the worst! Dr Bernard claims to be an expert at bioidentical hormones, he'll prescribe them but he is not an expert, he knows very little. Please beware going to this practice. read more

My experience with Point Med Services has been nothing but positive, If you are looking for a practice that employs cutting edge diagnostic techniques and custom pharmaceutical products this is the place. Under the care of the Point Med staff my testosterone levels are correct, my blood pressure and glucose levels are within a healthy range. I am in my mid sixties and had literally forgotten what feeling healthy felt like. Yes wait times could be improved but on the other hand people will wait in line at Disney World for a couple of hours with no complaints at all. read more

This was a terrible experience. My first appointment at this place was cancelled two hours before my visit. I had to reschedule to the closest date, two weeks afterwards. This time, I got there before my appointment time and waited one hour before seeing anybody. The receptionist was not friendly and told me that I was late to the appointment When I asked how long more I needed to wait (which is not true). I showed her the confirmation text that I received from them proving her wrong. She never apologized and said their system said 2:15pm instead of 2:45pm. Anyway, once inside, I told the doctor about a recent incident which she didn't seem alarmed about and just listened as she was staring at her screen. She then asked: "so you don't need treatment for that?", and I said "well, you tell me if I do, doctor " to which she just replied " if you know the trigger and avoid it , you should be fine." She never explained the situation or why I was experiencing it, just brushed though that. I could've talked to anyone in the streets with no degree and gotten a better answer. I was very unhappy with how long I waited and how little care was shown to me. read more

The worst health care experience I have ever had. In my opinion, Dr Bernard is not a caring physician in any way. Dr Bernard spends very little time with you after having to wait in their waiting rooms for around 2 hours! Before my blood tests were even taken they prescribed me as many hormones as they possible could and they can only be filled at HIS pharmacy next door that will cost you HUNDREDS of DOLLARS! after having depression and anxiety after my 2nd child I went to him hoping he could help me. After listening to me for about 2 minutes he says "I hate the way you women think" and starts asking me if I want him to prescribe me SPEED to lose weight....AFTER TELLING HIM ABOUT MY TERRIBLE ANXIETY HE WANTS TO GIVE ME SPEED..If you ask questions about medications he gets annoyed and acts like your concerns are complete garbage. Please DO NOT GO HERE! This doctors office is absolutely horrible. The most unprofessional practice I have ever witnessed. I really have no idea how Dr Bernard is able to legally practice.
