I was told to wait in the receptionist area, while my child was seen by Dr. Kang. I didn't know what Dr. Kang did to my child until two years later, when my child finally collected enough courage to tell me that in Dr. Kang's office, he was handed a human body diagram by the office assistant to circle areas where he was suffering pain. He circled his head as his entire head felt cloudy. When Dr. Kang saw what my son filled out, she screamed and yelled at him in her office, "Why can't you follow instructions! What's wrong with you!" After two years, I learned the trauma my son experienced, at the hands of someone who was supposed to provide care and compassion to the patients. I didn't pay nearly $150 to have my son yelled at and psychologically traumatized and emotionally abused. Furthermore, my son didn't get any better after Dr. Kang's acupuncture session, and we sought another acupuncturist. After a fairly long visit with an exam and lots of questions about my history, medications I was using, etc, Dr. Yao proposed a homeopathic remedy.
