Pleasant and tasty food, but a terribly rude and unpleasant employee. As an American living in Amsterdam I was thrilled to find Poke Perfect because it is one food that I really miss from home. I've now been there three times in the last month. Tonight I went back to pick up some dinner and was so disturbed by the nasty-mouthed female working behind the counter that I probably won't return. The other staff there are super nice and warm, friendly, etc. But the consumer experience was horrible because of the bad energy of one employee. The owner needs to get his people trained or only hire employees that are enthusiastic about the product and want the customers to be happy. That is currently NOT the case. read more

I loved Poke Perfect. This just totally nailed it for me and the hubs. After a nice chill time hanging out at the coffeeshop, my appetite was off the charts, and we found this around the corner. It was not only delicious, it was beautiful. I'm so happy just thinking of that colorful bowl of deliciousness. It was a decent portion for the price. You can build your own bowl, but i didnt wanna have to think of what may go with what, so i went w the suggested signature combo. Nice atmosphere since its at a corner with a lot of light coming in thru the windows. Also nice and simple decor with cozy cushion seats along the window so u can people watch. The guy fixing our bowls was super passionate about making it. He put some love in crafting our bowl. Wifi is key since i dont use data when traveling, so that was a plus. I have yet to try the poke bowls in Chicago yet, so i hope its as good, if not better. read more

Some of the best poke I've had! Even compared to poke in California and Hawaii. Really really fresh fish and foods with vibrant flavors. They have a lot of options for sauces and toppings which is always great. Their portions are huge. One of my favorite meals while in Amsterdam. Their ponzu sauce and salmon and kale are AMAZING. Great little Poke place that is among a great street of restaurants. My friend and I were craving something fresh and lighter, and Poke Perfect hit the spot. We just finished at the coffee shops so the idea of building our own bowl was a little daunting, so we opted to split the large size of The Witzel, which was a 10/10! We added spicy mayo on top, but altogether the flavors were great and portions very generous. We were satisfied and full just after splitting one and having smoked for some hours before. The employees were all very sweet and chipper, answering any questions and dealing with the considerable line in a polite and efficient fashion. Will return again! read more

The food is great and you are very warmly welcomed. The place is also very clean, however there are two things that could be improved: - the design of the place is very clinical. You would except a more cosy setting for an Hawaiian place. I know it's cliche but I think that's what most people look for when they head for Hawaiian food. Visiting Amsterdam on business and this is around the corner from our local office. The poke lunch was perfect. They have set salads and bespoke choices. I had the large salad with rice and sriracha mayo and a side seaweed salad. The large was a ton of food. I should have done the small. The seaweed salad was sublime.
