Unfortunately I can't say the same for the return trip, which occurred early in the morning. The second driver never even got out of the van to help me with my bags, despite the fact that I had an injured knee and was using a cane. I started to put my bags in the back when he told me just to toss them on the seat next to me. We had two people in our party. The second was 4 minutes late getting to the cab and the driver mad rot clear that he was late. We had trouble getting the sliding door on the van to Clair and again the driver never bothered to get out and assist. Just keep telling us we had to push the button harder. Quite rude and not was I had come to expect in this area. For the first ride they were happy to accept credit card but would only take cash for the rerun.

Abdul and his team at A-List Charters were the most budget conscious and accommodating. As with most events, unexpected needs do come up at the last minute. We had originally needed two shuttles for twenty guests however that number doubled three days before our wedding. Abdul worked with us to provide the necessary transportation to help get our guests on time, to and from our wedding. Most of the time, the driver was even early. But, then there were a few bad times. Three to be exact. On three different occasions, they didn't show up at all, and I missed my doctor appointments. On two of the occasions, I was able to call once I realized they weren't coming and reschedule with my doctor, but when I called North Country Transportation to inquire about the ride, no one answered any of the times. I left voice mails on these days, including today, when they didn't show, and no one responded. I sent a text to the number, and on the days they didn't show up, no one responded. I waited and kept trying to contact them until there were only fifteen minutes to get to my appointment and then had to reschedule with my doctor and they still didn't show at all. They didn't even call me to say they weren't coming, and I have to believe after this happening a few times that they knew they weren't going to come. Because on most occasions when I had a ride set up with them, if I sent a text, someone replied pretty quickly. Or, if I left a voice mail, someone would text me back. But on all of the occasions where they didn't show, no one responded at all to either. The ride was set up to be one hour before the appointment. That's plenty of time, and it's pretty poor practice for a business to just not show up, and not respond to communications. It's not even like I was impolite or angry or anything when I left a message about it. I was polite and just inquiring whether someone was coming. No response. If you miss three doctor appointments in a year, a lot of doctors will stop seeing you, so I can't afford to take a chance on these guys anymore. I'm sure they don't care, but if they keep doing this to people, they probably won't be around for long.

Drives well, plays nice soft music, He converses with you but is not over bearing. It's so easy to schedule a pick up with them, you can call or text! Ted offered his services at a fraction of that amount and the experience could not have been better. He communicated with me the morning of to let us know he was on the way, he arrived on time and was very helpful getting three senior citizens and tons of bags into his van. Christopher responded right away and was polite and organized and was able to pick me up at 3am the next day (9 hours after I contacted him) and shuttle me to SYR.
