Norman, our technician, was fantastic--he called 15 minutes prior to arrival, to let me know he was coming, which I appreciated. He provided services, then checked with me prior to leaving. Great customer service and really nice guy, a great representative of Greenway. I haven't had bugs in my house or even outside for years...and I've had Greenway services for about 5 years. I can spray myself, I've done it before, but the chemicals they use are pet-friendly and effective. And the cost is nothing, compared to trying to do it myself. Very affordable. Do not use this service!!!!! I did not receive a visit from March 2023 until today from Greenway, but they continued to bill me WITHOUT NOTIFICATION for the last 18 months, without my knowledge. The original issue was an expired credit card, which i did not realize they still had on file, but I had cancelled the serfvice. No one has been here for 18 months. I will take legal action. 'THIS IS CLOSE TO A SCAM They were most unpleasant when I finally received a bill from a collection agency, the first one I have ever received in my adult life. We were recommended to try Greenway by our neighbors when we developed an ant infestation inside our new house. This was over a year ago and we have had them regularly service our property every three months. They used organic treatments inside our home and the ants were eliminated (it took a couple of weeks). Gerardo was our technician for today's service. He arrived on time, was friendly and polite, and promptly sent a summary of his findings (no sign of pets) and confirmation of spraying the exterior of our home. Greenway has been dishonest from the start, they stated they would spray the inside, garage and outside on the first visit. They just sprayed the outside and had to return to do the rest. I was unhappy with the service so I tried to cancel within my 3-day cancellation period. They hung up on me the first time I called and the second call they claimed Saturday is a business day so they had to charge me $279 to cancel when their website states they are closed on Saturdays. For anyone else in Albuquerque, it is a misdemeanor (city ordinance § 13-3-1-8) for door-to-door sales persons to ignore no soliciting signs, and the operator I spoke to with APD sounded genuinely interested in having an officer find this guy. read more

Pre-emergent spray scope of work was changed dramatically (reduced). Estimator initially failed to mention the dog could not access the backyard for 3 days. When Tech arrived, he advised us the dog could not access back yard for 3 days. Paid them half of the estimate (they only performed a third of the original scope of work) and thought that was reasonable considering the poor communications through the entire process. I was advised I had to pay the entire estimate, not based on scope of work. 90 days later Greenway turned the remaining balance of $80.72 to a debt service for collection. Will never pay this. Field Tech did a good job. I would say their business practices are both deceptive and sketchy. Steer clear of these folks. read more

I need someone to spray on the outside of my home a few times, For spiders and ants, he stated that his company could do that. I ask how much they charge $100 first visit $53 for the next few. I'm like OK not bad. The following month, I had to call the company the same issue. Same spiders and ants. They proceeded to tell me that. I signed a contract for 24 months. Which I did no. So I told them I no longer wanted their service. She said okay. They have to cancel the contract, which would be $300. I did not sign a contract to begin with. So now they are trying to pull $ 300 out of my account no not right. I would rather pay a lawyer. Little do they know I have it on video. Please be careful if you don't wanna be scammed. I am honestly so SICK of this company. They forgot to charge us for 5 months, never called, never attempted to bring up a past due bill when we called to have them come back out because the previous sprayer didn't spray correctly.. nothing. The sprayers even told us we were good to go! We were happy to pay! We had it on auto-pay for a reason. Turns out their billing system wasn't registering that it wasn't taking payments. Did they notify anyone? NO. They just kept taking money from my account without notice. Starting with almost $300, followed by 3 or 4 attempts of almost $200. We called them several times to get this situated. The CSR's hung up on us several times. Not sure if they're just very poorly trained or this company allows call avoiding activities. Eventually, the supervisor gave us a waiver of all returned check fees as well as a waiver for October and November. I'm not supposed to be charged until December, yet my bank tells me another charge from them is declined from today, Nov 18. This company has the shittiest billing system I've ever encountered. I've never in my life had this issue this consistently. I'd literally rather buy $53 worth of Raid then pay $53 a month to have some kid come spray my house every 3 months and argue with idiots over the phone. read more

I can tell you right away who I WON'T be going with- it's these guys.It's 9pm and they just came up to my door- one with a "no soliciting" sign very clearly posted right above the doorbell. While the kid was very nice, even after I stated through my Ring that we weren't interested, he would not leave and proceeded to tell us about our options with his service even though I also stated we had a pest control company. Whether you have a license to go door to door or not, you may consider teaching your techs that it's not ok to solicit at 9pm and maybe to pay attention to the no soliciting sign. read more

We have a very obvious sign stating "Do not ring the bell or knock" right over our doorbell (we have a 16 month old and a dog that barks incessantly). So I get these repeated knocks on my door and I get there and it's a young guy with a Greenway t-shirt on. He starts telling me how he's going to be spraying my neighbor's house and was I interested. When I started asking questions about what he was spraying for I asked if one of them would be bed bugs. He said he didn't know but when I said I was pretty sure I saw one did he actually think I was going to let him in my house when he asked me to let him in and show him where I saw the bug! You got to be kidding me in this day and age just because somebody has a company t-shirt on doesn't mean squat and I don't appreciate the door to door solicitation either. I've had many interactions with many different service companies over the years. Greenway has to be one of the worst. The sales end of their operation was convincing. Nice young man on a one-wheel selling service across my neighborhood. But, when it came to delivering the service, it was spotty at best. Many of the things that the company said they would do on a regular basis as part of the quarterly service, (which wasn't cheap, by the way), they never did. "We'll clean the soffits, do this, do that..." Never done. Once I reminded a technician about 6-8 months after I signed the contract, they did it a *single time*. Subscription services are supposed to make a person's life easier, not harder.... and boy did Greenway make my life harder. I spoke of the dissappointment in the service, and one of their customer service/sales people said, "No problem. I understand. Just make this one last payment then you're done." I reiterated with him, "This is it? After this we are done?" "Yessir. That's all." before I made a payment over the phone with him. Then, about a few days or a week later they started calling about the "early cancellation fee" and just would not let it go. They flat out *lied* to me over the phone, telling me that "this is the last payment", in order to get me to make a payment over the phone, then threw the early cancellation amount in my face to try to retain me, *then* they did a number on my credit becuase i *refused to pay an early cancellation fee for a service which they never delivered on*. Be very, very careful what you agree to with these people. They *will* use deception, and leverage the fine print to get every last dollar they can out of you-- *and* the service isn't even very good. The individual field techs weren't bad (I had one really good experience out of about 3-4 times they came out and sprayed). But, its the people who make the decisions at the top that I take issue with. They had the power to waive the fee after not delivering on *their* end of the deal. But, not only did they not waive it, they lied to get me to make a quick payment. Worst type of company to do business with. I say all of this as a small business owner myself, who has worked with Orthopedic surgeons and OR staff for 17 years in a highly critical field involving patients health and lives. While I would never call myself perfect, Greenway outright lied to me, *and* actively did their best to ruin my credit. There are lots of options in this arena. Don't choose this one. read more

Offered me a "one time" discount to earn my business advised I get with my husband and text him by the next morning to get taken care of with my neighbors. I did what he asked and texted this morning and hours later I get told the owner won't allow a new customer discount. Turns out they only come out 4 times a year, but charge monthly and not at all what was promised as the bottom line price. Tried calling to cancel and was given the run around, have been getting harassed and they keep sending emails scheduling techs to come out. Every turn of my experience with this company was unprofessional. From the sales man quoting me a year service then turned around and said I signed up for 18 months. I needed a squirrel removed from my garage. He was a juvenile squirrel weighing maybe 1 1/2 lbs. The first trap they bring out was a trap the size for trapping skunks and foxes. It was way to big so the squirrel would not trigger the pressure plate. 3 days later they bring out one that was too small which is used for catching rats and mice. Plus the second one was faulty because it tripped yet there was nothing in the trap. This baby squirrel has been in my garage for going on two weeks and I needed him gone and I know he wants to get back with his family. I told the reps that I knew it was a small squirrel because I saw it. It was a juvenile and I told them that yet they did not note any of this. Well, I went and bought a $20.00 trap from Amazon. It was delivered next day. I set it out at 2:00 am on a Monday morning and had caught the squirrel by 10:00 am. This company is nothing but taking your money. If I could give 0 stars, believe me, I would. Their salesperson came to our door at about 8:30 pm. You don't go door-to-door at that hour, it's not legal and we have a HUGE No Soliciting sign right at eye level. It is the large red and white one available from local police substations and is so large it can be seen from the street in front of my house. This salesperson rang my bell anyway and proceeded with his pitch. My husband pointed out the no soliciting sign and the guy never apologized or anything, just continued like he was oblivious. My husband must have said no 5 times and yet the pitch continued. Myself, I'd have slammed the door after explaining what no soliciting means. Anyway, we finally got him to leave. I called the company the next day. They would use this event as a "coaching opportunity" I was told. They obviously did not because a month after this individual came to our door, I am still reading complaints from neighbors about this company on social media. The complaints all echo our experience only now they've added a new twist. The salesperson points out neighbors homes and claims they've signed with them. The complaints are still mentioning ignoring no soliciting signs, pushiness, rudeness and unwillingness to take no for an answer. If they were that good of a company they wouldn't need these type of salespeople. read more
