We were staying nearby and sad that we weren't staying there. Our group had the crab cake, king prawns, and smoked salmon starters. For entrees we had the steak, bolognese, venison, burger and steak pie. Then several had the brownie and sticky toffee pudding. I have to say that we'd been having sticky toffee pudding everywhere we've been and this was, by far, the best we've had. I didn't get pictures of the desserts because they were eaten so quickly. The rooms were really clean, spacious and nice, with a double bed, a table and two chairs and a small kitchen if someone wants to prepare their own food. However, I would recommend trying what the motel/inn can offer, too: their venison was absolutely fantastic. There is also a bar with pool, darts and different board games for a fun evening - you will need to find something interesting to do anyway, as there is no internet at times, and even the cell phone signal is really unreliable. However, I think that is absolutely normal at that part of the world.

The husband and wife team who run it are lovely and friendly and the building and views are stunning. The meal was amazing - I think there's nothing quite as good as poshed-up chicken kiev and ooh baby was mine amazing. We both absolutely gushed over the whole thing. The wee bar is fabulous, with its warm fire and fantastic Westie named Archie attacking the telly whenever animals appear. Comedy value. I would absolutely recommend Navidale to anyone staying in the area.
