The owners, Ronnie and David, live next door, and provide extensive concierge services, from dinner and tour recommendations and reservations, and detailed faqs about transportation, money exchange, clubs, spas, and general tips on how to navigate the scene in PV.  And they make note of other lgbtq+ owned and operated establishments, so one can make deliberate choices should you prefer to support the lgbtq+ community.  The pool and hot tub in the center of the property make for an easy and friendly way to meet other guests staying at the hotel. And their Saturday evening private pool party is not to be missed.  I'm already making plans for a return visit.

In the afternoon when there are a few guests enjoying the sun, they do have someone actually coming around to the pool while you are in it asking if you would like anything. They have a Jacuzzi that is available that is right on the river. One just needs to ask them to turn on and give them a half an hour to get it at a perfect temperature. They have a choice of breakfast in the mornings at a fair price. The property itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the accommodations are very nice. Unfortunately, dealing with the front office has become such a frustrating experience that we won't be returning. The staff makes it unnecessarily difficult to have guests visit the property, even when they provide passports and complete the registration process. During our most recent stay, our suite was reserved for a maximum occupancy of four people. Two friends joined us at the pool for about an hour, bringing our total to exactly four people--the number we had already paid for. We also spent a significant amount on food and drinks at the pool. Despite that, the resort charged both of our guests a day-use fee because, according to the front office, they hadn't been "properly" registered. It felt like an excuse to nickel-and-dime guests rather than provide good customer service. Instead of appreciating loyal owners and visitors who have been coming for a decade, the office staff seemed more interested in enforcing technicalities than creating a welcoming experience. It's a real shame because the property deserves high marks. But the constant hassle and inflexible attitude from the office staff overshadow what should be a relaxing vacation. After 10 years of returning to Pinnacle, we've decided this will be our last visit.

On site, they have a number of amenities available to you like a large fitness center, a medical spa, massages available, and it's connected to a beach, front entertainment, pool and bar where many festival events are hosted. The cost is a lot higher than the surrounding area, but you are paying for more exclusivity and amenities. They have a restaurant and rooftop bar with gorgeous views. The breakfast is really decent and generally included with your stay, but you can also pay extra to have additional items that are not on their menu. One word of caution, the hotel does sell timeshares and encourage you to participate in their timeshare presentation the day before you leave. They require a $50 deposit, but it includes their higher end breakfast menu option, a tour of the amenities, and some access to on site perks. This is quite common in many all inclusive resorts throughout Mexico just be aware what you're signing up for.

Beware: They almost force you to a time share presentation immediately after check in. Just keep saying "No" and eventually they will give up but they are very persistent. This place is not luxury.
