What a sweet and quaint place to stay. The hotel has 2 pools…read more One on the rooftop and the other down below near the entryway. Both are super refreshing and welcomed in Puerto Vallarta. This hotel is located in the middle of the plaza and about 1/2 a block from the beach! There is a pharmacy to get your hygiene needs directly outside the hotel. There are also several other sweet stores directly around the hotel, local street vendors and the beach, the beach, the beach!!! The staff is really nice and on top of everything that was aided by guests. There is individual air conditioning room units in each room to maintain a cooler temperature than the local Puerto Vallarta weather. Otherwise, there are TWO pools at this hotel as well as the beach located less than 1/2 a block away. The bed was comfortable and the shower has plenty of room to get clean after the beach day. A guy who looked like he normally works maintenance insisted on rolling our singular suitcase to walk us into our hotel room and 'inspect' the room per a paper checklist for presence and function of guest towels, glasses, TV remote, AC remote. Felt weird being asked to check that we had towels in the room before he would leave... The room felt old, the bathroom was like it was pulled from an old gym locker room. Curtains were not blackout and since our window and door faced the atrium stairs you can hear all the hallway and stair traffic at early hours. Bring an eye mask, ear plugs, and shower sandals for your stay here. In stark contrast to the room interior, the rooftop facilities including pool, patio chairs, covered bar area were clearly updated and modern with a beautiful beach view. I would rather have slept on the roof for my stay, but hey, the location is pretty awesome and may be worth while for you! Would not recommend and probably won't be coming back.

Nestled in the jungle between the Rio Quale (river) and the mountains - this place is a hidden gem, theres lots of room to enjoy and have fun, including a pickle a ball court & corn hole. They are open daily (no evenings) with live music all days expect Monday also closed all Summer. Parking is challenging but most people walk or get dropped off. #livemusicrocks

Pre-trip preparations were easy to handle and the villa staff were so wonderful. We had a party of 14, but the villa can sleep up to 18. The entire property is beautifully decorated. The staff made us the most amazing food and cocktails. The entire stay felt luxurious and relaxing. Leaving was the worst part, but we will be back in the future!

The room was decent, not tiny but not spacious. When we walked in I noticed the light was super dim, I had to turn on the bathroom light and leave the door open just to see around my room. About 2 days in the light went out and I asked them to change it which they did. When I got back ti the room, the light was still very dim. This hotel is the perfect location to get around PV though, so that's a plus. The housekeeping lady was also always on the floor I was staying at constantly checking if people needed their rooms clean so I liked that as well. Walls are super thin though. You can hear the person next door and in the halls very easily. I give this hotel a 3/5 for great housekeeping service and location.

There are certain things that at any hotel I would expect and was let down this visit. The key card for our room kept failing to work which forced the staff to reprogram the actual door - very frustrating at 2am. The front desk gentleman seemed annoyed to have to help us at 2am also. Only 1 key card could be provided - not ideal. Extremely firm beds with even worse firm pillows. After 2 days of roomservice/clean up we failed to get clean towels each day. Instead they folded the damp pool towels and left them on the ground. Really?! Yes it's a cheap hotel but it's far worse than when we visited prior.
