My first time here since it became Polished. It used to be called something else. Right next door to Saigon Noodle Restaurant and Little Willie's BBQ. It's super clean and beautiful. Customer service is average. I'm not much of a talker when I'm at the nail shop but as long as they greet me, we are good. Received a pretty good pedicure..could've used some more scrubbing but I think it'll do for now since my feet aren't that bad. Didn't get offered any wine or beverage...not sure how i feel about that. I'll definitely come back though. It's closer to my home than my usual place. read more

I went to this nail place and they messed up my nails. I asked for a blue French tip nails and he gave me the worst manicure I have ever had in my life!! I asked for short almond nails and this small man ( I think his name was Tim) gave me some sharp looking weapons. I even have blue polish on my hand, and he got the nails dust all over my sleeve. This place is very beautiful and tends to service select groups of people. Upon walking in I was not greeted nor even looked at. (There's a host standing at the desk) I figured out to sign in on the touch screen monitor at the desk and I sat down and waited to be called. My pedicurist was very sweet and took her time. Each pedicure comes with a glass of wine. I was not offered any, however I do look young so they probably assumed I was under age. Once I was finished drying, I had to track down someone in order to pay. I was disappointed in the service and probably won't return. read more

I have not gotten my nails done with anyone else other than my nail tech in Texas. I was in Mississippi for work and needed to get them done before vacation. I decided to go to this salon and I'm glad I did. I tried ombré nails in dip powder for the first time and I highly recommend them. I'm he gentleman who did my nails took his time and had a lot of patience. Clean place & nice people. Afterwards the manager Diane texted me to make sure I was pleased. It was first time there. I got in the chair right away. I asked for regular manicure and deluxe pedi. Total 60. I ended paying 65 and I'm not sure why I paid an extra 5. Really beautiful place. The techs are super friendly and the prices aren't outrageous. My husband got a pedicure and he has said it's the best he's ever had!! I'm giving only 3 stars because the person that did my nails really messed my nails up. He was super nice but I had to show him the type of nail shape I wanted. He had no idea what I was talking about. He then filed my nails for what seemed like hours and cut the sides of several of my fingers. My sister was there as well and, despite being the first person in her technicians chair, ended up waiting almost an hour and a half to get her nails finished and was moved to a different seat twice. I did receive a refund and the manager was super sweet about it and apologized for everything! All in all, I would go back. If not for a manicure then definitely for a pedicure and a glass of complementary wine!!! read more

I got dipped with tips yesterday and all I can say is this is the worst my nails have ever looked leaving a salon. I asked for longer nails and told my technician exactly where I wanted them cut and he kept filing until they were barely past my finger tips. I would just like to start by saying i get my nails done OFTEN. I live in Idaho but am visiting family and was hoping to get them done ASAP due to the chambers recently opening. I had called prior and made an appt, and had asked price over the phone for EXACTLY what i wanted. When i arrived i sat for 50 minutes before they started( i understand they are busy) but they took others first who walked in after i did. The man who did my nails also cut my pointer finger open, making me bleed and did not even apologize. He also did not make sure the polish was smooth at all. Then it came time to check out and he was claiming it was $10 more than what i had been told over the phone, even though i had no add-ons! My pedicure was fabulous. I haven't had one in a really long time and fully expected the person to look at me funny when they saw my feet. I was so nervous. The staff is so courteous and professional. The establishment is very very clean. I was promptly offered a beverage and she asked if I wanted to turn on the massage chair. The staff person made my feet smooth and it was not painful at all! Everyone there was so nice. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I will have to go back soon. It's very pretty. You're paying for the decor. The service wasn't good and neither were my nails. The lady made my coffin shaped nails rounded. Then she flied them to death trying to correct it. Now they are just kinda wonky looking. Then I paid almost 50 dollars for a fill with shellac polish that already look a week old. I will never go back. read more

Horrible experience. I made a reservation for 5 pedicures two weeks in advance. My three sisters and I were taking my mom out to celebrate her birthday. I was told we could easily be accommodated. The day of our appointment, I was called an hour before to confirm that we were coming. Upon arrival, four pedicure chairs were set up and ready to go. Then the workers started scrambling to get a fifth chair ready, almost like they forgot that their were five of us. We were asked to take a seat. I was the unlucky one who sat on the end and waited for 10 minutes very confused as to why there was no water in my foot soak and no employee working on my feet. No one told me anything. They just let me sit there. After 10 minutes I had to ask what was going on, only for them to reveal that they were "short staffed". This is something they could have told me on the phone an hour earlier AND upon my arrival to their shop. But they didn't. When I asked how much longer I'd have to wait for someone to give me a pedicure, they told me "just 10 more minutes". I waited a total of 1 HOUR. I wasn't given a pedicure until my sisters and mom were completely FINISHED with their's. They enjoyed their pedicures together while I sat. Then everyone had to wait on me to get mine. Ridiculous. I was supposed to get a one hour deluxe pedicure like them, and the woman who worked on me rushed through mine, and it only lasted 31 minutes. I was still charged $50 for that experience, which I politely refused to pay. The manager/owner that I asked to speak with never even apologized. Not once. When I told her about my disappointing experience, she said I needed to be "understanding". That's literally all she kept repeating to me. That I, the CUSTOMER, needed to be understanding to them. I wasn't unreasonable. I was very calm. I just wasn't going to pay $50 for that awful experience. She ended up charging me $35 for a "basic pedicure" and never once apologized for anything that happened. She also never tried to help or make it right. I had to push to only be charged $35. She thought I should pay the full amount. I've never seen such a lack of customer care in my life. I'll never be back read more

Let's just start off with this I work in retail everyday dealing with customer service everyday! I have had a long week working long hours! I'm on my feet all day long! Something I enjoy is getting a pedicure. So my moms been telling me about this new place right by my house called polished! So of course today after work I had some free time and decided to treat myself to what I was hoping would be a nice pedicure. So I walk in sign into their iPad you put your name and all and what u would like. So I selected deluxe pedicure why don't spend the extra I deserve it. So I wait a pretty good while then finally they call me back which is no big deal I understand they were busy! Well the lady starts on my pedicure then I noticed she was not doing anything that the deluxe pedi has. So I asked what the difference was and she hands me a paper. I go to reading then I say I put I wanted the deluxe pedi in the computer did y'all not see that oh no she didn't tell me I'm almost done now sorry... like umm ok... sorry... so they lady beside me says omg I can't believe she said that and walked I was I said I know I'm a little in shock cause everyone is bragging on this place. So I proceed to talk to the lady next to me and just go on about my day. Well I guess the manger walks over asked what was wrong I explained and she said yea that computer is just for state board we don't go by that... well why have people waste their time telling u on a iPad what you want if your not going to read it nor do u seem to care.. she said well u should have told her I said well she never asked and just started I figured y'all went off this I pad and what I selected.. well I told her I would not be coming back she was utterly rude and then she goes back sits down doing another lady's nails and begins to trash talk me to her other customer clearly in english in front of my face with me still sitting there. I decided to try this place out because it's closer to me than my normal spot (Allure Nails). I was expecting to have a great experience based off the reviews. I get there around 10:45 and was informed that I needed to sign in at the iPad, which I believe is a waste of unnecessary time. Pen and paper is much faster. Anyway, I wanted a pedi and dip w/manicure. I picked out my colors and my pedicure was started immediately. Midway through my pedi a lady brought me a bowl to soak my dip off. I'm guessing 30 min getting my pedi and soaking off, nothing unusual. I then go sit at the bar to get my nails done. I notice that the tech is taking an extremely long time from one nail to the other. At some point at looked at my phone and it was 11:50. I had another appointment at 1 and was wondering if I'd be done in time. Not! It literally took her over an hour to dip my real nails and they still didn't come out right. My nails had white streaks in them and she said it was due to the powder. But I know better. I always get my nails dipped and had never experienced this. It was due to her technique. Then the guy sitting next to her tried to fix my nails, but at this point it's 12:57 and I'm already late for my next appointment. He tells me to come back and he'll fix it for me. I told him ok, but it's Friday and I wasn't going back there to spend any more of my time there. I go to check out and the tab says $35 for my pedi, but she (tech messed up my nails) tells me it's $73. I said I'm just paying for my pedi. She again says it's $73. I politely told her that I wasn't paying for nails that I wasn't pleased with. Not only did they have white streaks in them, but the guy that tried to fix them, buffed them out and they were dull looking. Anyway, I just paid for my pedi. I will NOT be going back. I went to Allure Nails the next morning and Hannah had me out in less than 30 min. I gave 1 star for the decor because it's nicely decorated and a different setup from other nail shops. read more
