Let me just start off by saying this was the single worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I've been getting my nails done every 2 weeks at various different salons for YEARS and have never had a problem anywhere. I do not recommend going to this salon unless you're looking for a bad experience. Today I wanted to get my nails done as I was visiting family in Weeki Wachee and had messed up my old gel manicure and peeled it off. My nails were very thin so I was eager to get them done again. I decided to stop somewhere nearby before leaving the area. I saw this salon on google and yelp. It had mostly bad reviews on yelp, but mostly good reviews on google, so I decided to give it a try. Big mistake. I was a walk-in and brought my boyfriend with me. I waited for about 30 minutes to get a gel manicure. Which is no problem; I didn't mind waiting as I didn't have an appointment. As I waited, I looked around the salon and saw multiple framed signs telling customers how to behave and how not to behave. I found that unsettling, but decided to proceed. A young lady told me whenever I was ready I could sit at one of the work stations (btw, this place does not have a real nail bar. The name is very misleading) so I sat down and she brought me a bowl of hot soapy water and told me to soak my hands. I tried to soak my nails in the water, but it felt scalding hot. I said to the young lady, who was now walking away, "ma'am, I'm sorry but the water is a little too hot for me.. my nails are very thin right now" she turned around and rolled her eyes at me like I was bothering her, then took the bowl without a word and replaced it with a bowl of COLD water. I became upset at that point and I wanted to leave, but decided to give them another chance. While my nails soaked, I watched the young lady who "helped" me play on her phone and clip her nails. I was pleasantly surprised when another nail tech came over to do my manicure. She did a basic manicure and applied a base coat. I noticed when she applied the base coat, she left a lot of product on my cuticles and the skin around my nails, but it was a clear coat so I decided to let it go. When she started applying the color coat, I got nervous. She continued getting the polish on the skin around my nails and did not wipe it off. After the first coat on my right hand, it was time for me to put my hand under the UV light. I looked at it first, and saw what I expected to see. I then decided to leave. I politely asked the lady to take the polish off as I had decided to go elsewhere. The manager (I'm assuming) came over a few minutes later and asked me why I didn't want a manicure anymore. I told her the nail tech was getting polish on my skin and not wiping it off. The manager told me the tech would FILE the polish off my skin at the END of the manicure. No thank you!! I do not want my skin filed! I then told her I also just had a bad feeling in general because I had received attitude from the other young lady. The manager responded by smiling and saying "oh, she never gives anyone an attitude!" But later said she would have a talk with the other tech. Let me just say it's never a good idea to argue with a customer when they tell you an employee has given them attitude. I then waited as the tech soaked off the base coat. The air felt tense and awkward. I couldn't wait to get out of there. When the tech was done, she told me to wash my hands. When I came back and asked if I was good to go she just pointed at the door. As we walked out the door, the manager apologized and told me to have a good day. I wish I had never gone here. It ruined my day. Hours later I'm still upset. I wish I had read more reviews before going. I also noticed a representative from the salon responds to poor reviews here on google, sometimes even getting nasty with the reviewers! That's definitely not a good look and is highly unprofessional. The one good thing I will say about this salon is that they have a lot of color choices, but that definitely doesn't make up for the terrible customer service. read more

I have given this salon so many tries. Jenny and Ceci were great but unfortunately they're no longer there. I've been turned away and told I didn't have an appointment, when I did. I wrote on their Facebook to let them know and they told me to come back... so I did only to pay for a full set that I wasn't pleased with. I got polish and acrylic all over my skin and not to mention I was cut by the manicurist (whos supposedly the owner) multiple times. I should have just walked out paying for only my eyebrows and lip but I would feel like an ass doing that. Clearly these people do NOT care! My feet weren't cleaned properly under the nails and they had to be done twice. Terrible customer service. Signs all over the walls telling you what to do and what no to do. The male owner clearly doesn't care about the clients who help pay his bills. I will never go back there again! read more

So I went in the first time to see what all the hype was about. I was sat instantly which i enjoyed. I told my nail tech that I'd like a nude nail with a few stars on on nail and then a spider web on the other. I was told she can't do designs and i can pick from stickers. While she was placing my nail on that I broke, she put it on sideways and i told her that it looks like it's slanting down towards the left and she said that filing would fix it. It did not. Once i picked some stickers to put on, some didn't stay on my nail so after her trying a few times she said very bluntly "if this doesn't work I'm not trying again." PLUS my nails are pepto pink instead or nude. Let's just say i paid way to much for the service i got. I should have left after she said she can't even do designs. read more

I was out of town and needed a pedicure bad so I came here cause it was local. there was not a single customer inside and that should have been my first red flag. i took my sister with me and she was done in a quarter of the time as me and we got the same thing. my water was ice cold and the girl didnt speak an ounce of English. she had to have the other girl step in every 5 minutes and i mess in there from 3:30-5:15. ridiculous for a basic pedicure with white gel. and to top it off she knocked me with the filing drill and just gasped and didn't apologize. I went in and got a full set done last week, I wanted them shaped oval with gel polish, I had turtle shell looking nails! The tech did not even shape them down at all they where very ugly and bulky, my coworkers kept asking me who did my nails because they looked weird, I agreed. I went back to try to get them fixed and the young Asian girl in the front was very rude automatically asked me to leave because I said they where stupid looking. Very disappointing! I had to pay more money to get them fixed elsewhere. Thanks to Nail So Happy in Brooksville for fixing my nails!... I think you need to listen to your unhappy clients that pay for services and try to fix the problem instead of turning them away because you get your feelings hurt, very unprofessional. read more

The WORST!!!! Absolute WORST!!! Service I have EVER HAD at a nail salon! It was a long wait to which I was understanding of because I saw how busy they were. We finally get to our pedicure chair and the women we got was by far the worst! She had a horrible attitude! Didn't ask me what sort of pedicure I wanted. I originally wanted the one that is $25.00 and she went on and did the $20.00 one on her own. We normally come here because we know they serve wine here and we were going to have a fun girly day. When I asked for the wine she was all rude and told me with her rude tone "Ya you have to wait!" We never got it! I asked her if she is always this rude to her customers and she was like "I DON'T KNOW MAYBE!!!" She got no tip from me or my sister! Trust me. We will not be back! I'm super bummed, I came here right before Christmas to get a fill after coming here once before for a pedicure. I was overall happy with my manicure, other than the manicurist cutting my cuticle a few times on my ring finger causing it to bleed and then filing the skin on my finger, weird. I didn't think anything of it, However I've now been fighting an infection in that nail since. I've never had an infection from getting my nails done so I probably won't be returning here. read more

DO NOT GO TO POLISH NAIL BAR- new owners did our nails (Full set and deluxe pedicure) today and the Nails were complete crap!!! Had to go to another salon to get them fixed and requested a refund of the manicures. Owners refused to refund the manicures, and proceeded to yell at us-wasn't asking for a refund of pedicures or tip just the cost of the nails. They refused and said if we didn't like them we should have asked for someone else to do our nails. The manager was sleeping at the table next to us and there was only one other employee work on another girl. THEY WERE THE OWNERS!!! Below is what I requested and what they did. They had to be reshaped and smoothed out. I had acrylic on my cuticles. My friend (has been going there for 2 years) asked for fall themed colors and got Pink and white ombré with rhinestones with acrylic on cuticles and uneven nails... horrible customer service. I have had my nails almost 4 weeks w/ np. I go to your salon threw word of mouth & in less then 5 days I have 3 broken nails due to Jenny just putting acrylic at the cuticle area & not adding acrylic from the bottom up & on the sides like other nail techs. Only reason why I even tried your salon was bc my nail tech was on vacation whom u seem to know. This was my 1st & last visit to your nail salon. Horrible customer service! When I called about my nails I only received sarcasm & only after I mentioned sarcasm isn't necessary was the tone changed. I went here two days and got a full set of gel nails. My nails are crooked, uneven, extremely thick, and the polish is streaky. They are already chipping and have some sort of small black specks imbedded into the gel polish. I had an app't for a nail fill for 12 pm. The nail tech named Linda was rushing so fast that she was hurting me. I told her my nails are square she rounded them and had to redo the filing on one hand. In 12 minutes my nails were done and once the polish was you could see the ridges that weren't buffed out properly. When I said something they put more polish on the nails and I objected saying that the ridges were still there. Instead of apologizing the manager(owner) I don't know who she is other then a young female said I would have to wait until she got to do it after her customers. I had already paid prior to being polished or I wouldn't have paid them. Not even an apology! When I said that's not fair I was told to get out of their shop. I have since had my credit card company remove their charge. My nails are a mess and they are as sharp as a razor. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. With all of the competition in this area you would think they would have a better attitude. Obviously customer service is something they need to take a lesson on! read more

This place is honestly gross now. I used to come here all the time when Jen was the owner and never had problems. First off it smells like corn chips in here when you walk in, it's hot, and the people are very rude. The whole time I was getting my nails done the guy doesn't talk only when I asked him to fix something. Which I had to ask him to fix my nail shape 4-5 different times because they were crooked and I work hard for my money and am tired of having to fix my nails myself when I get home. You can tell he was getting annoyed. Filed nails very lazily. They had some guy doing my toes and didn't wear gloves the whole time which felt really weird. Barely scrubbed my feet. They don't have music playing they have the news on and other people watching their phone at the desk. Really explains why there was no phone calls or people coming in the whole time I was there. Ive never been treated so rudely. The owners mother yelled at me for not liking the color on my nails and she made her 16yo daughter takeover my pedicure half way through the service. This unlicensed untrained teen was too busy flipping her hair in and out of her face and her hair kept getting all over my feet. The second time i went in I made an appointment telling the owner I wanted her to do my mani pedi for my brothers wedding and told her i might need tips put on bc my nails are short. She said fine but when I got there, she tried to beat around the bush and said she doesnt have time and that i should have told her and that she can only do gel polish. Then i overheard her telling an untrained employee to start my pedicure and when the employee hesitated she told her she would watch her. Now mind you i had made an appointment only with her, not untrained employees. I feeling like a fool that i had given them a second chance and wasted my time, left without anything! I DO NOT recommend this trashy place to anyone. They are UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!!!! Dont waste your money. Im a business owner in town and I was appalled how they treat their customers.
