However, one day he just stopped managing my chronic pain stating I needed a pain management doctor, well, did that twice both times with IPA in Killeen where they did nothing to manage my pain other than procedures until I did all of them and never once gave me anything to manage pain! So I went back to Dr. Perry and got him to help me again, he did so for a bit, stating I need to see a new pain management doctor, so I did, this doctor said he doesn't prescribe pain meds and does exactly what IPA does and that there was nothing he could do... So, I went back to Perry and he told me nothing he could do for pain according to the restrictions set by the CDC.... Come to find out I looked up the CDC guidelines for opioids being prescribed, the CDC can not make law, that was left up to each states legislative bodies and in Texas he was right about acute pain being limited to 10 days, however, in Texas law, chronic pain, palliative care, cancer pain, end of life care can be treated long term by opioids!!! In short Dr. Perry is a liar and might as well just be a PA or nurse assistant.... I would never recommend him to anyone!

But they couldn't give him a new patient appointmen till April of next year 9months out? That is ridiculous and they haven't offered any other solutions for him. They don't seem to care for anything besides "Bsw's policys & guidelines " and their facilities have that walefare office vibe. And when the nurse called patients back she reminded me of a Sargent from basic training) the whole place had a nasty welfare office vibe. Thank God We found Advent Hospital &medical campus on Cleer Creek in killeen. They got him in rite away and the doctors where nice. He's been getting great care at Advent. They have nice facilities and they offer every service but there's less waiting,less attitude and going their doesn't make me feel like I need to shower using bleach. Were happy now. I am a black female and new to the area, and I needed medical attention. The doctor was so rude and condescending. He basically stated that I looked fine. After attempting to explain my symptoms and how I was feeling to him, he dismissed me. I left there and immediately went to Urgent Care on the next block. I was seen by the doctor, and I was diagnosed with Influenza B (type B flu), along with a severe sinus infection and severe inner-ear infection.
