    Honey sauce packet

I picked up dinner tonight, Friday April 19, 2024, and was a bit surprised. I placed my order on the phone with the Tidewater Drive location. First, the chicken was good. The sides, cole slaw and potato salad, were good but small. The price was very high. Now the items that really disappointed me; the honey "sauce". The ingredients listed high fructose corn syrup first. It also listed other corn syrup, sugar, honey and natural flavor. That is ridiculous!

Soo you know I love fried chicken wings! Like honestly who doesn't? My issue with pillars today Is that they gave me two of their driest wings- now what I order was a 5 wing dinner! It's suppose to come with 5 wings 2 sides and 2puffs! I got what ordered but I ooeb the box and things wings we're so small! I paid 10$ for this! Now I didn't let the food go to waste for 2 reasons. 1st reason. I'm fat! 2nd reason- this bird gave his life so that I might life thru it's nourishment! Lmbo lmbo Seriously I was disappointed with my food - the sides were tho !

Not impressed at all. This is one of the newer franchise Pollard's. It's located in a building that used to be a bank in the Woods Corner Shopping Center on the Centerville Turnpike. Next door is a Sonic. The newly renovated building has been completely redone inside with a vary large dinning room that can seat a group of just about any size. There is also a banquet room just after the main dining room on the right. The food was excellent. I had a 4 piece chicken tender dinner with fries and a regular sized drink. Ran just over $9.00. What killed this visit for me was the experience. It stunk. Plain and simple. They got my order wrong. I ordered dine and and received my food in a carry out box. There was no sense of urgency and everyone just seemed to be meandering around back behind the counter and in the kitchen. Adults and teens alike just hanging out. The leadership definitely needs to be looked at here if they intend to have repeat customers.

Alleluia...alleluia...praising fried chicken. Can't even think right now because I am in a food coma. My tummy is full and my heart is satisfied. Whoaa, I am for sure going to spend more time at the gym to burn some calories...lol^_* Seriously, I must agree that Pollard is the best fried chicken in Hampton roads. The chicken itself is cooked to perfection - golden and brown. The meat is tender and juicy, just addictive and insanely delicious. With my lunch combo, I ordered the hush puppies and sweet potato on the side. The hush puppies is greatly portioned and probably one of the best I ever tasted. It was crispy on the outside and soft inside. while the sweet potato is seasoned well with sugar and cinnamon. Overall, thought it was wonderful place. My only criticism is the distinct smell of fried is quite alarming. It can be forgiven once you try the FRIED CHICKEN. Apart from that, I am well satisfied. If my tummy needed a greasy and unhealthy fried chicken this is definitely the place to be. Hang on, is there such a thing as healthy fried chicken?

Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing with a country roadside shack motif. The bar area has TVs with sports and a great selection of craft beers and house specialty cocktails. The only drawback is that parking during peak working hours can be tricky with only street parking available as there are lots of small businesses and other restaurants in this area with the same issue. The Food is REALLY GOOD! I had the Pork & Pollock; a healthy lump of pulled pork with two pieces of battered and fried pollock, a cup of slaw and a side of your choice (I got the Cindy's Mac-n-cheese). I also added a side of their hushpuppies, and my only complaint is that my stomach was not big enough to finish it all. Tip: if your hushpuppies come out with their house made honey butter, just ask you will thank me latter. Various BBQ sauces are provided on the table for your meats and sides; my favorite was the sweet Memphis style. If you are in the area and hungry, I highly recommend finding a parking spot and swinging in!

She didn't just drop us off at our table and leave, but she made sure to mention who was waiting on us. The little things I didn't ever think I would appreciate. The ambiance was really cool vibes. I love being able to see the kitchen and the bar was very nice centerpiece that just added to the vibes. The music level was close to perfect and the music selection felt very inclusive and yet still felt the representation. This was literally a random stop because our first choice was closed so I was totally not dressed to fit in so I am thankful no one made me feel out of place. The waitress was so nice and friendly. Really everyone was friendly. I even loved when we left the chefs were telling us "thank you" and "have a nice night." The food, OMG!!! Hands down THE best food spot I've had for dinner in Norfolk. This place even beats out the BC. We started with the pork bites and baaby before I knew it, it was devoured (10/10). The way the huge piece of pork loin was tender, juicy, and flavorful should be studied (10/10). The sweet potato purée and southern veggies paired wonderfully. The chicken?! Juicy!!! (8/10). I don't even care for creamed corn but here was next level. What I also don't care for is bread pudding, but OMG the complimentary dessert sent me over the moon. I wanted more (12/10). 350 Grace was absolutely bussin and a true culinary experience. I can't wait to return in more appropriate clothing. It's definitely a date night and anniversary type vibe without the over expensive prices in case you just want to show up by yourself. You would think this would earn the restaurant points, but it just further added to the dissatisfaction. How can a restaurant with such good food be so unpleasant to be in? From the moment I stepped in and interacted with the curt hostess everything was so tense and stressful. Unfortunately the last two reviews of this restaurant completely match my experience tonight. We were rushed and pressured to place orders quickly or lose our right to eat there. I will admit that not all of my party was present on time. But I (the one who made the reservation) and another guest arrived right on time to claim our table. This establishment's policies around ordering are so strict and rigid that it's impossible to relax and enjoy yourself. Life happens, people show up late and things don't always go to plan. The inability for the staff to adapt and accommodate leaves the guests feeling as if their presence is a burden. No one goes to a sit down restaurant to simply get their food and leave. Fine dining is also about the experience. I specifically sought out a Black-owned restaurant to patronize in recognition of Black History Month. To be made to feel so unwelcome after being so intentional about being in that restaurant was the worst part of the whole thing. 350 Grace, do better. You've got the food down. Get the experience down, as well. If managing a busy dining room of patrons is too difficult, might I suggest converting to a drive-through?

Once I added hot sauce, honey, salt, and pepper, it brought the chicken to life and tasted much better. My daughter ordered the smothered chicken and biscuits, butter biscuits topped with cheesy eggs, fried chicken, and cajun cream sauce. The picture below may not look the most appetizing, but don't let that fool you because this dish was packed with flavor! The only downside was the eggs were a bit overcooked. My daughter is picky about eggs, so next time she said she'll ask for them lightly scrambled or over medium. Now let's talk about the drinks lol. I love a good hot cup of coffee and they did NOT miss with the coffee. Smooth, hot, and flavorful. My daughter also said the sweet tea was really good.
