All you need to make your own Taco.

Tonight we were pleasantly surprised to find Pollo El Ranchero. I am not sure if it is correct to call what we ordered was good old on the grill BBC Chicken or not. But it sure tasted like some of the best off the grill BBQ Chicken I have ever had away from the backyard. So I can only recommend the, Pollo Estero as a must order item. You also get all the required adders to fix up your own chicken taco but folks this chicken is pick up with your hands lick the bones good chicken. Oh the staff was all young and energetic providing great service. Enjoy.

Giant chicken outside, yummy chicken inside.

Given a choice between eating someplace with a giant chicken out front or someplace without a giant chicken out front, I am going to choose the giant chicken place every time. I am not a fan of Mexican food. But... giant chicken out front, so I was down to try it. I had the roasted chicken (a staple across most cultures) and it eas delicious! Yummy, yummy. Good spices, nice and juicy. Average size, not giant like the chicken out front. But that would have been too big. Boyfriend is a fan of Mexican food. He described dinner as plain and simple and great at it. He loved the chips. He had the enchiladas and really enjoyed them. Fair price, good food, friendly service. If I find myself in Guymon, OK again, I would eat here again and visit my friend, the giant chicken.

We're staying at the Holiday Inn and needed dinner.

btw the hours posted on YELP are incorrect. The waitress said they are open Saturday til 9 and also open on Tuesday so I suggest just go there! Very good food and cold beer.

The chicken is very good but the homemade tortillas is what sets this place above the rest. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Inside the place was clean and nice looking. This place is worth a stop when going through northern Arizona.

Drove wayyyyy out to Mexican Water Trading Post after visiting Monument Valley to chase some Navajo…read morefry bread (and other Navajo inspired treats). Ultimately, our curiosity was met! We shared an order of plain fry bread and another Navajo taco which is fry bread with some fresh taco-like toppings. The fry bread was interesting! It was lightly sweet, with a crispy exterior but a doughy interior. The taco version came topped with ground beef, whole beans, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients but it definitely sogged up the fry bread. I much preferred the original. Two dishes held us (4 people) over quite well for the remainder of the afternoon. I'm taking off a star simply because of service - it was kind of weird but we also kind of expected it because of the location? We clearly had 4 people but we only got 1 place setting. We were also told to sit at a table but then had to order at the counter anyways? Oh well. Mexican Water Trading Post is the only thing at this location besides the gas station and the 7-11 like market. Open everyday 8am to 8:30pm.
