First, Juan came out and gave a verbal estimate, which was quickly followed up by a formal, itemized quote. Veronica adjusted the quote based on my budget and priorities, and the work was done the next day! Their crew pulled up to my house at 6:45 but waited until 7 to ring my doorbell (no idea why the other review said they started at 5am). We walked my property and I answered all questions and they immediately got to work! They removed tons and tons of concrete slabs and pavers and dirt (40 tons? 60? more? It was at least 2 trailers full and a large green dumpster filled to the brim!) from my front and back yards. They even used a backhoe! After everything was cleared away, they raked out the dirt to even it all out, and meticulously cleaned up any mess. I've never seen people work so hard, so fast, for so many hours (7am to 3pm). It's backbreaking labor and they would take turns swinging the sledgehammers when they needed to catch their breath -- there was zero downtime except a short lunch. Plus, they seemed to be actually enjoying themselves, as they were laughing and chatting the whole time without ever slowing down. It was pretty amazing to witness.

I had just taken down a large above ground pool and all of the supports and equipment associated with it. Also had other miscellaneous junk. Although Mesa has a disposal service beginning at $31, they would not have been able to take the refuse I had. It weighed too much, too bulky, etc. Also, I didn't want to wait for the yearly Mesa free disposal dumpsters to arrive probably not until May or June. Renting a trailer was out, because by the time I rent the trailer and dispose of the refuse myself, I'd be paying the same amount if not more than I paid for service yesterday. There would've been fees due to the pool. Finally, I have a large landscaping project that will begin soon, and I just wanted to get the crap out of there. Plenty of junk removal services out there with good reviews. I checked out a few, read the reviews, and went for best junk removal. I like their truck. Charge was 350, but there was quite a volume of material and a lot of junk. It was worth it. They were very conscientious about making sure they only took what I wanted them to. Fast and efficient. I would definitely consider them again, if I have more junk to get rid of in the future. I guess they also do some demolition such as removing sheds and some structures. They were asking to borrow our tools. They were breaking furniture apart like cavemen. They were bumping into our walls all the way down the stairs and out the front door. Blue Guava did about ten times the work (no exaggeration), in only 2.5-3 hours longer for only $250 more than the big company. They brought their own tools and quickly disassembled furniture when necessary. Further, they identified what was donatable, took it to Goodwill, and brought us back receipts for our tax returns.
